A ⦿ Soaking in Your Arrival
| |
The icy water doesn't feel so icy once consumed and you'll be able to move your limbs enough to swim to shore on your own. She can't stick around to explain, she's got to get this to all the new arrivals! Many of which you'll see plopping in around you.
B ⦿ The Caravan to Camelot
|
Once everyone is wrangled up to the top of the White Cliffs, the handsome owner of the Rent-a-Ride, Archimedes, will distribute smart phones and a pair of ear buds and tell them to "Check the Shit Box." The "Shit Box" refers to wardrobe more formally known as the Wardrobe of Finding, a hammerspace-like wardrobe that opens to each person's items and pets when the person touches the handle. It was recently enchanted by Merlin to prevent people from having to fish their waterlogged possessions and pets out of the water with them. From there, Archimedes directs everyone to settle in groups into modernized carriages pulled by horses and gives them a basic explanation of why and how they've been brought to Avalon: The rest of the universe is frozen in time and your character has been brought here by a familiar that was able to bond with them. They'll have to learn magic to help save their own world from destruction, but first they've got to get them to Camelot. It is here that you have the first opportunity to decide who they will be in their new home. You'll have about an hour to wander around here, meet and greet, and pet the horses before it's time to go. |
These carriages use fae technology that combats weight, so your character will be able to get in regardless of whether they're light as a feather or weigh two tons. The carts have air conditioning when it's hot, heating when it's cold, and a mystical shield to protect from bugs. There is also a mini-bar that pops out of the console, with a special feature for warm winter drinks like hot apple toddy and butter beer. Characters can use their smartphones to connect to Camelot's internet service, avalononline (AOL), to chat with other characters, watch dumb videos, learn about the world, contact Camelot Support (they'll answer any questions they can for you, from how to use a smart phone to where to find quests and resources to learn more about your magic). Be careful if you decide to use your phones while in the caravan-- if you don't use those earbuds and start forcing everyone to listen to your nonsense, Archimedes may make you walk.
C ⦿ The Red Spring | |
The journey from the White Cliffs to the City of Camelot is a long one, and the first evening you arrive you'll end up spending at the Red Spring, a booming resort town. Newcomers get free inn rooms for their one night stay on the way to Camelot, containing two twin beds, a bathroom, a mini-fridge and microwave, and a TV equipped with a couple of entertaining video games and movies. Don't want to relax in the room? Take a dip in the communal hot spring. The waters have restorative properties that help horses and travelers recover quickly. It is known to relieve stress, improve energy levels, and mildly accelerate healing. It may be a little chilly when you get out though, so make sure you don't slip rushing back indoors when you get out! |
|
|
Last month, players were invited into the fae territories in Elphame for the first time for the Winter Solstice celebrations while King Arthur and Queen Elphame enter talks regarding the next steps toward saving the multiverse. In the meantime, a special camp hosted King Arthur's knights has been created on the riverbank just inside of the Forest of the Felled to act as a midway point for travelers going between the two points. |
A ⦿ Snow More Cold | |
| The Forest Camp is quite a stunning outpost for Camelot. Given the snowy, cold weather, the campsites have been built with the knowledge of some of the snowier fae in mind and have resulted in what some are referring to as "Igloo Glamping." Artfully carved out group rooms, dining halls, and storage for supplies, and more have been carved out of snow to create a surprisingly warm solution to keeping safe as a Forest halfway point. |
...Or if they do get themselves into trouble, they can also end up in snow jail, a special igloo built with extremely tough ice stalagmites that will be hard to break out of until authorities can come pick you up and take you back to Camelot.
B ⦿ The Great Avalon Bake-Off
One of these activities is inspired by a surprising store of buried baking supplies like flour, sugar, butter, yeast, and eggs that was found in the forest. It's been there a long while, but it seems to have been protected through magical preservation, so there's really only one thing to do about it: a bake-off!
|
|
| |
C ⦿ Ingredient Hunt 2022
| The real trick is finding ingredients to make your confection something to stand out and come up on top of the contest, which you may need to wander into the Forest of the Felled to look for. |
Just be wary as there are a few ingredients you can find in the forest that may cause a few unintended side-effects to your taste-testers:
| |
|
Back in Camelot and Elphame, trouble is brewing of a different variety. |
A ⦿ Calls You Daddy | |
Strange eggs with even stranger tiny legs have started wandering into the city and making their way into peoples' homes. Inn rooms, houses, apartments, tents, tree trunks, igloos, even townships have found residents waking up with a tiny little egg snuggled up to their side to keep warm in the morning. These eggs act just like babies too-- they cry when they need to be fed (they'll roll around in the food to absorb it), are extremely picky about their food (and each egg has its own unique palette), need to be cleaned after eating, and they need to be kept warm or they will perish. |
|
One touch of an egg to direct skin will result in a parental instinct being imprinted upon whoever touches them, so you may find yourself wanting to care for this egg as much as it wants you to care for it. Eggs come in a variety of colors and designs and will seek out at least two parents, so you may find yourself in an unlikely relationship for the next week or so until they hatch...
B ⦿ Aurora Bearealis | |
| After about a week, the eggs all seem to be antsier than before. Many of their legs disappear and their colors start to glow gently at night, as if some kind of strange nightlight. Eventually, the top of the egg will burst open and out of it will hatch a slightly oddly shaped bear creature, which looks almost like a living teddy bear. The bears themselves have strange glowing markings that match the outside of the egg that they used to be in, and when they step out, a mysterious flow of light comes out of them- like an aurora borealis.
|
| |
C ⦿ Go on, Git. | |
| These fierce little aurora bears are causing destruction and pain in both Elphame and Camelot alike, so a decision has to be made: the bears need to be led by their parents and some fighters out to the nearest forest and set free to live in the wild, as they probably were intended to. |
For those who have taken to Elphame, they are not faring much better. As it turns out, these little eggs have made quite the impression on some goblin poachers released from prison last month. These goblins are hunting down the newly released bears for capture to sell them as circus side-shows, food, and more to more devilish creatures. They love gold much more than they love anything else, except perhaps the fierce beast that accompanies their party to help them devour anyone who would try to stop them: a gashadokuro, a fierce skeletal demon formed of the bones of fallen travelers. It is known to bite off the heads of travelers and drinks blood. You'll have to defeat the whole party to ensure your newly released bears remain safe.

Tsukasa Yugi | Toilet-bound Hanako-kun | Dark & Bargaining
[Before coming here, Tsukasa was a ghost. Despite dying at thirteen, he's loved being a ghost. He's got cool powers, can float, and he never has to grow up. He's been dead for over forty years and so anything having to do with being human are long-dead habits. Like breathing.
Once he's at the shore, wet and confused after almost drowning because he should have been able to just breathe in the water, he's grabbing at the first person he sees:]
Hey, hey. Are you alive, too? [Odd question but he's trying to figure things out!]
B. TASTE TEST
[For this great bake-off, Tsukasa is willing to try it out. However, he really just wants to mess around. So while his confection does not have any of these magical elements...it does just have mud, leaves, and any other random thing he could find. It's entirely possible there's a worm in there somewhere. Clearly not something anybody should put in their mouths but Tsukasa's gonna try to get someone to do it.]
Can you try my stuff? I just want to make sure it tastes good.
[With his eyes wide and bright smile, it seems like an innocent enough request.]
C. NOT SO PARENTAL
[Tsukasa didn't get an egg visitor in his bed and maybe that's just as well. Even if he had felt protective over the little eggs, it still wouldn't have been good for anybody else forced to co-parent with him. However, it isn't good for the eggs themselves. Tsukasa hasn't had any skin contact with the eggs as he sees some walking around. He's never seen anything like this before, however, and so he's curious. Which has now resulted in him trying very hard to step on the eggs to see what's inside.]
They're so quick! [He's laughing, though, and keeps trying to get one under his feet.] Come on, come on. It won't hurt!
B
And how do I know it will taste good?
[You see this? This is the look of a girl who is looking mighty suspicious at you.]

Venat | FFXIV | Light and Blood | RIDICULOUS ENDWALKER SPOILERS HEREIN
[So, it is done. The last of her power spent. The last of her trust given. The last of her efforts exhausted. The last of her life's purpose, fulfilled.]
[Venat, at last, lets go, and sinks. Down into the aetherial sea, where she might drift for a moment, to simply embrace the pleasure of not being, or perhaps simply release herself entirely, a return far too long awaited. No matter what happens, she awaits its embrace--]
[But what she strikes is more of a lake than a sea, and certainly not full of aether. The sudden weight that heaves her down is not the Underworld's caress, but soaked and heavy robes. And far from peace and rest, her body reacts like anyone's would, kicking and thrashing till her head breaks the surface, and she gasps in air for the first proper time since the Sundering.]
[Before she can even react, a bottle is to her lips, a warmth tilted in by a smiling woman, and a cold she hadn't even registered fades from her limbs. Her body slows its movements, then stops entirely as her instinctive alarm fades and calm reasserts itself.]
[Arms splayed, drifting on her back in the lake, Venat looks up at the sky above with eyes more radiant than it.]
Am I truly not permitted to rest?
B. Of Magics and Creation (Training Grounds)
[Whether being here is intended as a punishment or a gift, she'll treat it as the latter. A duty to do, others to aid and be aided by, a world to explore, and the need to live much as those she'd damned to suffering -- poetic justice and a reminder of the delights of so long ago, all in one. None of this is Etheirys, so she must -- must put aside feelings of apathy and ennui, and remind herself that everything is new under this sun.]
[Including herself. And nowhere is this clearer than the curling last of blood held in her right hand, which she regards with faint unease. This is certainly a far cry from the magic she knew and embraced (which, she might add, lends a great deal of weight to the 'poetic justic and punishment' theories), and yet the weapon feels as natural to her as her proper sword did in turn.]
Well, then. Would anyone care for a match?
[The smile she turns on others is small, yet brilliant. Punishment or justice or whatsoever, it has been a very long time since she actually got to enjoy herself in a little fight. How delightful to not have creation itself as the stakes!]
C. Spirit of Azem.
[The wildcard option!]
Well I just had to throw a bunny at her (don't worry, I finished EW 8D) - A
Oh, I am so sorry! I just assumed- I-I mean... uh, nevermind. Um, are you alright, ma'am? Do you need help swimming to shore?
[She slipped into Officer Judy mode, letting her need to help others distract her from her own worries. Where was Nick? Just where was she? And what was this person? The voice led her to believe she was female, at least. But she was certainly no animal Judy had ever seen so she hoped she wasn't wrong and assumed incorrectly!]

Connor Kenway | Assassin's Creed III | Kinetic/Siphon
He quietly wandered around the inn, taking note of all around himself. Connor wasn’t certain if he completely bought into the whole world saving thing. Not quite yet, but he did buy the whole magic schtick! In so far as he’s seen it for himself and how difficult it had been to simply ignore. He’ll have to play around with that later, for now it was time to observe and take notes on everyone else that had arrived at the springs alongside him. Listening in on conversations here, taking notes on appearances and mannerisms there. Learning and teaching himself how best to blend into the crowd here. Much as he had been doing since he’d first been shown to the carriages.
But how else should he proceed here? He supposed that his first order of business should be to arrive at this Camelot place and get a better lay of the land at large. Hm, but first perhaps he should make a few contacts among the others. That was probably the easiest thing on the to-do list as it he built it up. He looks around himself as people get off the carriages and begin to head towards the inn. Ah—right there. He walks over
“Pardon me, but can you spare a few moments?”
Excuse the guy that had been silently staring at everyone, and everything suddenly taking an interest.
II- Glamping Room
He tagged along, largely out of curiosity. But also, out of a need to do something other than wander around and make contacts. His breath came out in visible puffs. He’s slept in far worse, and at worst this place just reminded of a souped-up form of a snow shelter. It was a lot warmer than back home too, that much was most certainly true as well. With a sigh, Connor went ahead and crashed on the bed, arms out wide as his body met the fur-lined bed. Really an upgraded snow shelter is probably selling this short.
The place is still made out of ice, however. And without any noticeable form of heating. So things are still pretty chilly!
III – Defending Bears!
Poachers seem to be a thing no matter where one goes, it seems. It just so happens that these ones are goblins, along with their pet, skeleton-creature-thing! How quant. At least Connor seems to be taking this all-in stride as he sizes up their current enemies. Out of all of them, the skeleton was probably going to be the most trouble. No fleshy bits to hit.
But plenty of bone to smash. Luckily, he has just the right tools to do the smashing. He goes ahead and takes out the hatchet from his leather belt and holds it at the ready. “Think you can handle the goblins?”
Said calm and smooth and calculating, it probably helped add to the whole reassuring demeanor that he carried himself with. That, and the fact that he was armed to the teeth.
IV – Exploring Camelot
Ah—yet another lovely, winter day. The sky was partially cloudy, the holidays of the season were winding down. And Connor had taken it upon himself to get a better idea of what the city at large looked like. The best way to do that?
Well don’t mind the white-clad body suddenly falling from above! It was a person! Like, an actual, living huma-being that was suddenly rushing to the ground! Or rather… the convenient stack of hay, sticks, and various other foliage clippings. Hopefully they were alright!?
[Wildcard]
[ooc: don’t see anything you like here? Want to do something different? Feel free to either hit me up, or simply set up your own prompt and I’ll follow along!]
IV
He looks up, first wondering if someone had shoved a body off a rooftop. Seeing nothing, he approaches the haystack curiously, one hand going to his sword.
"Hello? Please tell me you're not dead."

Okita Souji | Fate/Grand Order | Kinetic + Blood
[1] Arrival
[ This wasn't a good way to start the day, Okita decides, as she finds herself waking up to being PLUNGED INTO ICE-COLD WATER!! Seriously, getting dumped someplace without consent is far from an unusual occurence in Chaldea, but still!! Usually there's a bit of forewarning before it happens! There was none this time! NONE!!Still, as she sputters and flails under the water... there's a pretty lady? Who gives her something to drink?? And then the water is less cold.
And then the lady just leaves. Rude! Or so she thinks until she notices others also plopping into the water nearby and she puts two and two together. Still, while the water isn't freezing anymore, it sure isn't warm either!
Eventually she makes it to the shore, catching her breath from the swim through the cold water. She's dripping from head to toe, it's feels colder outside of the water than in the water, and she can't find her Haori... which has her concerned that she may have lost it in the water, but looking back, she wasn't wearing it when she first got plunged into the water either.
Still, she likes that Haori, so she'd like to find it again soon. ]
Ehh... just where the heck am I now...? I feel...
[ Different... like, now that she's less frantic (albeit still cold), there are a few things off about her. She feels... not like a Servant. ]
Huh? Ah, um...
[ She pats herself down all over, tries to dematerialize... and nothing happens. She has her sword and everything, but... she's not a Servant. ]
Eh... wait, does that mean... could my illness be—BUGH!!
[ If you've been watching her this whole time, you'll watch her suddenly keel over and cough blood onto the sand in front of her. ]
A-Ah... no dice, huh...?
[ She's fine. ]
[2] Red Springs
[ Despite the poor reception, the inn is... actually super nice. Training grounds, rooms you can laze about in, an onsen... really what more could you ask for, right? She even found her Haori at the shit box! Mind you, it's just a normal Shinsengumi Haori now, but still! She found it! Okita's first great victory here in Avalon!Speaking of which, Avalon... that's the place that's like, super important to the Blue Saber, right? Culturally, that seems a little off for a Gudaguda event... so it probably isn't, right? Right.
Perhaps you'll catch her already in the room you'll be sharing, where she's somehow already managed to procure a casual loose t-shirt and shorts, setting herself up in front of the TV with an abundance of snacks around her. It's been less than a day since she's arrived here and she's already setting herself up for maximum comfort.
Either that or catch her at the Hot Springs, where she's just sinked into the warm waters and allowing the bad memories of her paralyzingly-cold arrival drift away. It's been a good while since she's been to a place like this!
Sure, sometimes an event would have one... like the Enma-tei, but that was still a good while ago.Or finally, catch her at the training grounds, where she's got a black cat with her... presumably her 'Familiar' as they called it. Of course, it could just be an ordinary cat, but it's been following her ever since she got here... so it's probably her familiar. Plus... it's actually super cute so she hopes it's her familiar.
She still has her sword, but she hasn't had a chance to use it. Sure, she heard about everyone here getting some kind of Magic... but she's got no clue what magic she's ended up with, so she may as well see how well she can move physically now.
The result? Very similar to how things were during her life... though that isn't surprising since she isn't a Servant anymore. She cut down the dummies she set up splendidly, but she wasn't nearly as fast as she was before. Agility had been her one good stat, after all. ]
Ehh... I guess it could be worse. [ She glances down at her familiar. ] So? Aren't you gonna show me how to use magic? I never figured myself a Caster, but...
[3] The Bake-Off
[ Okita was... far from being a great baker, but she still wanted to participate! Y'know, for fun! And hey, if she did well, then that's even better! The spell being given out as a prize sounds like a super good spell for messing with people. She just has to follow the recipe book she nabbed earlier, right? Right.Truthfully, it could've gone better... especially considering the conditions they're baking in, but it actually doesn't come out too horribly! Sure, she may have accidentally let it bake for a bit too long and accidentally dumped a whole excessive glob of icing onto it... but it still looks fairly edible!
Frankly, Okita couldn't be happier with the fruit—or rather, cake—of her labors. Though it'd be a shame if she still didn't win anything, it was still a good first try all things considered! So, once she finishes decorating it a little bit... ]
Annnnd done! Yes! I did it! Okita-san's Great Victo—GUH!!
[ Just as she starts celebrating in the loudest way possible, her celebration is cut promptly short as she suddenly coughs up blood... right onto her cake. ]
G-Guh... ahh, I'm fine I'm fine... AHHH!!
[ Ruined... a true tragedy. A miserable wail of 'noooooooo' can be heard throughout the igloos. ]
Wildcard!!
[ You all know how wildcards work. Plurk is3
After enough time away, he honestly could say he'd started to miss it. Hell, it brought with it a unique, wonderful spark of a particular joy when that voice was distressed. It was the sort of glee he couldn't really get anywhere else. It was enough to drive him from his igloo, hands kept warm in his pockets, to seek her out. One could call say he was drawn to her like a moth to flame, but it was really more like he was the flame, and her whining was sweet sweet kindle.
... That was kind of twisted, when he thought about it, but hey. That's how it was, right?
He sent Mori to the sky to seek her out, and eventually Okita would see the sparrowhawk land right on her table and give her a curious glance, the first sign something was up before she got her own taste of a familiar voice. ]
Oi, Manslayer, you can't have been here more than a week and you're already losing? That's rough, pal.

yoh asakura ( shaman king ) cognitive & bargaining
( The fall comes rather suddenly, and instead of letting himself simply sink, Yoh makes an attempt to swim. The feeling of the water around him would normally be calming, if not for the chill that fills him to his core. He doesn't know why he's here, or why he was suddenly ripped away from the tournament he was in – but, he knows to take all of this one step at a time.
The potion is given to him before he can really take in what's happening, but once that chill begins to leave his body, he finds that he doesn't particularly mind. He offers a calm smile and a nod in response when she leaves, and Yoh begins to swim upwards.
Once he makes his way to the shore, he catches, quickly adjusting his headphones so they're safely around his neck. For a moment, he lays there – simply getting his strength back before he finally pushes himself to sit – frowning quietly. He doesn't know where he is, or why he's here, but there's something bothering him. His spirit partner is no where to be found. It's... a bit worrying. At the same time, when he had left Amidamaru last, he was just fine – and he knows that his spirit ally will be alright without Yoh. At the same time... it feels like there's a strange sort of void there.
But, that wasn't the most worrying thing about all of this.
Finally, he rubs the back of his neck – a sigh leaving him. )
Man, Anna's going to kill me...
b. the red spring
( It's been a rather eventful day! And while most people would be troubled to be taken away from home, Yoh's already made himself at home at the inn. Instead of watching TV or seeing what the mini-fridge has to offer – Yoh can be found doing his favorite thing at the moment.
His headphones are on – and while the music is blasting from it, he seems to have fallen asleep on one of the chairs situated by the window. Despite the fact that the music is loud enough for one to hear – he looks peaceful, to say the least. )
c. aurora bearealis
( Taking care of an egg that already acts as if it's hatched is one thing, but it's another when actually hatched, and quite aggressive at that. It's as if Yoh's taking on an entirely new responsibility that he wasn't expecting to take on. It feels like now the creature has taken on an entirely new personality...
Well, he wasn't expecting the baby to be so aggressive. Sure, he knows a thing or two about bears, but were they all really like this right off the bat...?!
When the bear seems to run towards someone, Yoh quickly takes the initiative to try to attempt to approach the bear and scoop it up. ) Ahh, wait! Don't fight--!
( While he succeeds in picking the bear up, touching it will unfortunately cause Yoh to begin to glow with a variety of greens, blues, and purples. )
c
It doesn't happen, since Yoh is successful in retrieving the bear, but Tsuna takes a moment to relax and take in the scene in front of him.
He's going to assume magic, but that's mostly because people, and bears, don't glow like that.]
Are you okay?

USS Cleveland (CL-55) | Azur Lane | Technomancy/Light
Cleveland, by her very nature, was a strong swimmer, and was currently doffing her clothes and began wringing them out. While whatever she’d been given to drink had helped to warm her up, her clothes were still drenched, and things were still freezing around her! While this whole situation has been different, at the very least she would always feel the most in her element while in and around the water. And past experience says, get rid of anything soaked to avoid becoming a popsicle.
“You’d think they’d at least light us a fire or something.” Both to warm up, and dry off!
II – Red Spring
“Now this place is fancy!”
Cleve grinned as she looked around herself, free room and board, a hot spring and training grounds? Super fancy! Hm, but what to do first? She should probably claim her own room, and was on her way to do just that. Walking down the halls, knocking on doors here and there to find ones that hadn’t been taken yet. She shifted her bag of stuff on her shoulders, the thing looked awfully hefty, but she herself didn’t seem to mind all that much. Despite her smallish frame. Her footfalls still sound relatively heavy though. And she seemed to have become super tired from her trip.
III – Bake Off!
Okay, so she wasn’t the base’s designated cook. But at the very least she knew how to cook sort of? Cleve’s certainly not going to win any medals here, unfortunately. But she certainly does her best! Her chosen dish for this time around? Some delicious tres leche cake. It took a bit longer than most others to complete, but the end result was absolutely worth it!
“Hehe, hope you left enough room for one more.”
IV – Protecting the Bears!
She clicked her tongue, using her rigging’s armor to block an attack from one of the goblin poachers before striking out with her sword. Slicing the attacker and causing them to back off. Using her naval guns would be a bit much in this case. Still, she wouldn’t let any of them get close to the little bear she was protecting! Even surrounded as she was and facing off against that skeleton-thing, she wouldn’t back down! Heck, Cleveland even looked more than a little confident as she stood her ground against her foes.
“Come on, let me show you what a Knight of the Sea can do!”
V – Walking Down The Streets
It was finally time to rest and relax, after everything was said and done, she’d finally made it to Camelot. And, of course be a self-described knight, she was incredibly enthusiastic! Running down the streets here and there, to and fro. Sometimes accidently bumping into people as she went about her exploration of the city in question. So many different sights and sounds and smells. Not New York levels, but still! She wondered if she could actually get to meet with King Arthur himself, maybe even be made a Knight of the Round!
Ah, she was just way to giddy at the thought!
Did I mention that she was mindlessly, and accidently bumping into people in her rush through the streets? Oops. Excuse her as she goes ahead and lands on her butt after bumping into you.
“A-ah… sorry about that.”

No, we don't. But it seemed like you were troubled by something... [ He holds the plate out for Paul to take one or more of the cookies. They're a mix of shortbreads with herbs mixed into the dough and sugar cookies, both topped with edible flowers.
(while they might look pretty, their taste is pretty average. tsumugi's by no means a star baker.) ] It's not much, but it's the least I can do.

ii. Because what are the odds of having two sand-covered prophets in the same place?
Glendale | Centaurworld | Siphon & ???
[Falling into the water wasn't something new for Glendale, considering she had fallen into a river and wrecked a houseboat at least once in her life, although this time it was a bit weird. As the centaur was very sure she wasn't near any water beforehand.
That and it is as cold as can be, it's certainly a shock. So is it when the strange woman brings some kind of potion to her lips, which Glendale is very freaked out about but after enough fussing the everwarm potion is imbibed so she's less likely to freeze before getting to shore.
She makes it there, the shore, a bit awkwardly even with the ice turtles help. So standing on the shore is the blue-haired pink centaur, shivering just a little as she wonders where she.]
Hoowee, this isn't Horse's houseboat or home, is it?
Red Spring
Ooooo.
[Glendale can't help but be a little awed by the Red Spring Inn, although it seems like they not just going to let her inside. Which she finds just a little insulting, as she can be found looking a bit sulky standing outside. Refusing to stay in the stables of all things like some common animal.
That and she's sure there are some interesting things she could totally ste--borrow inside.]
Eggs!
Well aren't you a cute little thing?
[Glendale is talking to the egg she happens to be holding and not whoever has been saddled with her as an egg raising partner, although said partner may want to pay attention because...]
Mama knows just the place to keep you safe. [As she stands on her hind legs and is moving to shove the egg into her portal tummy which... Isn't exactly there anymore, so don't mind her distress as the egg not just vanishing into a hole in her stomach.]
Wildcard
[don't like any options here? I'm cool with random other things.]
Eggs
Are you sure? I don't know how your stomach is going to keep the egg safe.

Alphys | Undertale | Cognitive & Alchemy...?
[ Alphys's arrival is something of a blur, with the shock of cold water waking her before the cold left her sleepy enough to sink, if it weren't for the rescue. Even the shock of the sight of the cliffs, especially the sky above the cliffs, isn't fully enough to break through. But the climb up helps her warm up, enough to pay attention to Archimedes' explanation. ]
S-So I've been... isekaied? You mean, all those weird readings were... all of time getting destroyed? O-Or, frozen? Oh my god, I can't believe... I'm gonna have to tell...
[ Sans, she means to say. When... she sees him again. If she sees him again. She hopes she sees him again. But that means, she'll tell nobody, on account of none of them are here. It's starting to sink in that her whole world is frozen, and a few minutes later she's pacing anxiously by one of the carriages. ]
B-But why did... why d-didn't you... You know, pull someb-body who's brave, and st-strong, and doesn't m-m-mess everything up???
[ The spectral cat she addresses with these last questions is unimpressed by it, and licks at its paw to start grooming its ear instead of offering any answer.
It's easier for her to get a grip on herself once she really starts poking at the gifted smartphone, and seeing what the internet here has to offer. No music for the ride, though - it's a little tricky, using earbuds as a lizard. Maybe she should have asked if they came in a different design... ]
The obligatory hot springs episode - (The Red Spring)
[ It's a long day until they reach the town, and the motion of the carriages has been... disorienting, to someone who's never really been in a vehicle besides a boat. The chance to just hide in her inn room for the night to play videogames, distracting herself from everything, is deeply, deeply tempting. As is the idea of just hiding in the room and never leaving. But mention of a hot spring, one with various restorative powers, is enough to draw her out. ]
Oh my god, this is as c-comfortable as all the shows make it look?
[ She settles in the water low enough that her face is barely peeking out and relaxes, finally warm enough. Of course, if human shows have any truth to them, then who knows if somebody's trying to peek through walls to get a look at somebody they have a crush on, or something ridiculous like that. She was already thinking of sneaking back to the room quietly, so... maybe she'll just stay here and relax, until there's nobody else around. ]
The egg baby episode - (Calls You Daddy & Aurora Bearealis)
[ By the time they hit Camelot and she's had more time to read up on things, it's all a little less crazy. In some ways. Apparently Archimedes meant it when saying that just being here and bonded with a familiar would provide energy for the big workings that would save the universe. Which is... the idea that just existing, by itself, could make the world better? It's one Undyne and various friends have said over the years, but never really sunk in. Maybe... it will, this time.
Of course, she's heard there's various ways to help beyond just existing. But she's not about to go raring off on dangerous quests with just a dab of magic she hasn't even figured out yet. And she's not crazy enough to go willingly off to a place where even the buildings are made of snow, where she might just turn into an Alphysicle. So it's sticking to Camelot and figuring out what to do with herself, now that she doesn't have anyone relying on her specifically.
...At least, until she wakes up to a baby egg monster. One that she sees and just knows she needs to take care of it, like... it's hers and it really needs somebody to look after it, just like Mew Mew is counting on her to help this whole world.
...Mostly her. That fluttery feeling of nervous pride is dashed the first time the egg pulls the makeshift baby leash taut, rushing to the nearest person and cuddle up to them instead. She's left following with frazzled doubts about her parenting and a deeper slouch than usual. ]
S-S-Sorry about that, don't know wh-what's gotten into it... You don't, uh, happen to know how to take care of an egg monster, do you...?
[ Whether someone else ends up feeling the need to help raising this little egg monster, things sure don't get easier once it hatches and reveals a teddy bear monster inside. Not with how it's gone from looking from potential parents to looking to pick fights. It reminds her a little of Undyne, but it's a little too late to go changing names - especially when she's busy running through a marketplace to catch it. ]
No no no no, bad Roary, get back here!
Omake - (Wildcard)
[ ooc: Interested in something else? There's a lot of other things I can see, between new arrivals who fell in together, the various shenanigans of figuring out new magic (accidentally astral projection? picking up bits of memories from peoples' things?), the dangers of bringing the bear into the woods, or the buying of a copy of Wizards Gone Wild once she hears about that little publication ;) - feel free to tag something else, or pm me to hash something out!
I'm working off one of the happier neutral endings for her here (all three hangouts), and I'm still voicetesting - tag speed may be erratic. If it's helpful for me to drop the stutter ooc please let me know, just assume it continues ic ]
The pilot episode
[The voice might sound a little familiar, or maybe not, as it comes from a kid who looks kinda like a certain human Alphys would know. If the kid wasn't wearing a green striped shirt that is, and their hair was a little shorter. Look, hairdressers cost money, okay?
Anyway, the kid is near the carriage that the monster was pacing by and just overheard her talking so, of course, they're going to check out who was talking.]

Jophrey Lethe | FFXIV WoL | Kinetic/Light
[ The man currently dozing in the hot tub paints a bedraggled picture, his white hair too long and falling into his eyes, cheeks coated with several weeks worth of beard. Wherever he's from, it's obvious he hasn't had a good time of it lately. His skin bears a fresh coat of black and blue, accented with the pale red of many, many freshly-healed scars. He sighs, tilting his head back and resting it on the cool stone of the bath's edge.
He watches the gaelicat he now remembers he named Cid as the odd feline lazily glides in circles well out of reach of the steam. Jophrey, for his part, sinks lower into the water, trying to relax away the ache in his head and...well...the ache everywhere else. ]
By the Twelve, I am getting too old for this shite.
[ He raises his head at the sound of approaching footsteps, and when he spots the newcomer he offers a polite nod and a weary smile. ]
Pray don't mind me, friend. 'Tis been quite a long day.
II: Training Grounds
Hello there! A moment?
[ A robed old man approaches during a lull in the mock-battles around him, a hand raised in greeting. He's been wandering the periphery of the grounds for a few minutes now, studying his fellow newcomers with an appraising eye. ]
Would you mind a round or two of sparring with me? 'Twould seem all of us have much to learn about the magics of this place, and better to learn from a fellow traveler than from inert wood, after all.
[ Judging from his appearance, this isn't his first battle of the day, either. The left side of his face is darkened with a fresh bruise, and his gait is marred with a slight limp, but his expression remains cheerful despite it all. ]
III. Strangler Figs
[ It seems our hero has landed himself in a spot of trouble.
If the shredded greenery at his feet are any indication, he's managed to hold his own against the mass of slithering vines for some time. But for every vine he cuts down with a shard of ice or blocks with a hastily-conjured shield, three more snake out from the trees at his back. It's obvious that he's quickly reaching the end of his stamina, and it's only a matter of time before-- ]
Shite!
[ --he makes a mistake. A single stumble in the wrong direction is enough for a tendril to slip through his guard and wrap itself around his ankle. He's sent sprawling, and within seconds his limbs are hopelessly caught. As he fights off the coils reaching for his throat, he cries out. ]
Somebody help me! Please!
IV: Wildcard
[ Make up your own prompt and I'll roll with it! ]
I
When Jophrey speaks the other freezes mid-step, one foot up, and somehow turns on his other foot. Welp, this place is occupado, time to leave.
He stops again when asked not to mind him. Indecision is writ clearly in his darting gaze and how he rubs the back of his neck with one hand. His voice is quiet and unassuming.]
Uh... yeah. Really long day. [A beat.] I can... I can go if you want. I'm just exploring the place right now... It's really big, lots left to take a look at....
[He's rambling.]

Felih Tia | FFXIV WoL | Endwalker Spoilers likely | Healing & Green
At the very least, being dunked into icy water is less and less of an unusual occurrence for Felih these days. That still doesn't mean he likes it, though.
He crawls back up onto the beach shivering and growling faintly, muttering about rude spirits, and something vaguely audible that sounds like, "I have a room, couldn't they put me back there?" He takes a few moments to just breathe and look around, before spotting a familiar little kitsune kit who has come to greet him with fire and yips. With a soft laugh, he cradles the kit against his chest and lets his familiar dry him off with its magic.
"Thank you, darling. I've missed you, too," he coos, scratching behind its ears before he stands. He'll look around, checking for anyone who looks like they need some help adjusting, and offer a helping hand.
"You alright, there? If you've need of a bit of extra warmth, ny familiar can dry you off," he offers.
B. The Red Spring
Felih is so sick of cold places, which is why he immediately goes to take a dip in the hot springs once he's settled. Folk around will see a Miqo'te man with long, silky, fluffy scarlet and gold fur happily sinking into the steaming pools, or even swimming around like a fish in some of the bigger and deeper springs, looking far more at home in the water than any would expect for a feline being.
"Thank the Twelve for these springs," he says, before boredom and curiosity inevitably make him seek out someone to pester.
Mischievous as ever, he'll try to find someone unsuspecting in the springs, or even just walking by them,, sneaking up on them silently...
...and then splash them with a rather impressive little wave of water.
"Aren't the springs lovely?" He'll cheerily greet his target, after they've been thoroughly splashed and soaked.
C. Coming Home
Felih is relieved to find things in Camelot proper more or less as he remembers them, and even more relieved that he still seems to remember the way home. That means that most folk who knew him before may spot him on his way through the city, a familiar fluffy ball of red and gold all bundled up in winter gear.
Or, in one particular case, knocking on the door to his old home, lacking the key now, and hoping the same resident still dwells within its walls...

Rider (Iskandar) | Fate/Zero | Kinetic & Elemental
[Getting tossed into water, even gulping a mouthful of the stuff and emerging, coughing, from the depths, is a surprisingly exhilarating sensation. Iskandar surfaces and swims to shore, still spluttering, when he's greeted by a woman, who gives him an opportunity to clear his lungs before she offers him an Everwarm potion.
He gulps it down -- it would be rude to reject the hospitality of an unfamiliar land, after all -- and when she introduces herself as the Lady of the Lake before moving on, he blinks. He can only look out across the water, and burst into laughter in stunned disbelief.]
It seems this is not Okeanos... but nor is it the end of my legend. Is it the same for the King of Knights, I wonder?
[The Lady seemed as good a hint as any, but there's only one way to find out, and so he forges ahead to ascend the cliffs.]
2. THE CARAVAN TO CAMELOT
[Near the front of the caravan is a mountain of a man, swathed in a billowing red cape with fur trim that wards off the worst of the winter chill... even if the Macedonian bronze armour he wears is anything but suitable for the cold. He hasn't climbed into the carriage yet, as he's having a very loud and animated discussion with the carriage driver.]
No, no, allow me to drive the carriage to our destination! You cannot possibly expect me, a Rider class Serv-- former Servant -- to squeeze into that tiny compartment while someone else does the driving?! No! I will lead from the front, and when we arrive, myself and your leader Archimedes shall enjoy a hearty banquet in thanks for his assistance! You will join us!
[He's slapping the driver on the shoulder and laughing, and the poor driver in turn just looks bewildered at the attempted hijacking. Maybe someone should talk him down before Iskandar just... takes the carriage and rides off with it.]
3. SNOW MORE COLD
[The so-called "igloo glamping" trip is something of an object of fascination for Iskandar, who has never travelled far enough north to see snow in its extremes, least of all enough to construct a building out of it, magically or otherwise. Still, he enjoys sampling foreign customs, and so he's made himself at home quickly enough, with a collection of wines to indulge in while he lounges and flicks through channels on the TV.
When someone else enters, presumably hoping to find a room to share, he sits up cross-legged to great them.]
Greetings! Are you here to join me in glamorous camping?! None in my army have ever luxuriated in a camp so fine as this.
[Then again, Alexander the Great's campaign eastwards would have been decidedly slower if they'd stopped at glamping spots the entire way there, but, you know. Details. He pats the pile of furs next to him in invitation. ]
Come, come!
4. WILDCARD

3;
(He knew he wasn't a large man, but even sitting down he can tell the other dwarfs him in every single way.)
Still, there are at least a few things that get Gorou to relax. The mention of an army, for one, and the fact the man seems friendly. The general still keeps a respectable, polite amount of distance between them as he sits. Personal bubbles are important, after all!]
This is quite different from the camps I'm used to, too.
[It doesn't really snow in Watatsumi, and the technology of this place far outstrips anything he's seen before. He's not even sure if Snezhnaya or Fontaine have anything like a "television" or "phone".]
I think most of my troops would describe our camps as anything but glamorous.

Edward Teach | fgo | Alchemy/Kinetic
There’s a lump of… something, laying on the shoreline. Upon closer inspection it appears to be a man, laying face down, legs and arms spread out like a crab’s; honestly it looks more like a corpse. At least, until he slowly pushes himself up onto all fours. Sputtering and coughing and looking none too happy as he spits out water and mud from his mouth.
Gross.
“Guhaaa! I LIVE! Old Teach thought he was gonna die there for a second! Seriously, what gives?”
One moment he was innocently reading the latest edition of Jumpu alongside his… ”treasures”. And the next he was dumped into a freezing lake, have some glass vial of… something thrown at his head before being floated to safety by the currents!
Episode II – Hot Springs Mayhem!?
The road trip over land, the almost drowning part… it was worth it. Worth it to be introduced to this heaven. Cuties everywhere, waifus everywhere! Sure, there were those indescribable blurs that are probably guys, but he can’t visually register them in his mind, so they don’t count. And now… now there’s a hot spring!? One with mixed bathing too?
Excuse the stupid, disgusting look on his scruffy face as he walks into the steamy area, towel around his hips.
“Nfufufu… it’s a little early in the season for this. But I’m not going to complain~.”
Gross.
Episode III – The Great Avalon Bake Off!?
Teach was looking mighty serious here. Both hands clasped together in front of him under his nose. If he’d been wearing glasses they’d be reflecting the natural light of the area around him. He was that serious.
“Hmph… it’s time.”
It was time… TO TRY SOME CUTE GIRL’S BAKED GOODS!
Episode IV – Protecting the Bear!?
“Noooooo…..! It’s scary… it’s scary!”
He sped on by everyone else, tears in his eyes, bear cub in his arms and dust cloud behind him! Following along was that big ass skeleton thing, bits of bone and skull chipped and cracked and looking beyond angry as it chased after the bearded wad of glowing filth. Also known as Teach.
“Tasukete!!!!!!”

Bruno Madrigal | Encanto (Probable spoilers)| Cognitive/Light
Caravan
[Here is an exceedingly underfed-looking fellow, mumbling and petting a grey rat.]
It's okay, Elizabeta, we just have to stay quiet, stay out of sight, we're good at that, we just need to figure out, y'know, where we are, why we're here, how to get home... aheh, no big deal right? No big deal. We can do this.
[Archimedes' explanation doesn't seem to fill him with a lot of confidence. He looks like he'd want nothing more than to flee. But he lets himself get bundled into one of the carriages, anyway.]
Well, at least it's warm in here. [He gives a nervous grin.]
[The minibar pops open of its own accord. Absently, he picks up something warm and drinks it, as though perfectly accustomed to objects offering him things. It only then occurs to him that maybe he ought to try to make some kind of conversation with these strangers.]
So, uh... this is where we make small talk, right?
2.
a.Room at the Inn
[Are you his roomie? If so, the sight that greets you is a man dead asleep on one of the beds and a strangely cute grey rat exploring the room. It manages to turn on the television. It manages to start up a movie. It... sits down and starts watching.
Squeak.]
bHot Springs
[He'd heard about the hot springs. It was too good to pass up--this whole place is dreadfully cold, the kind of cold that turns your bones to ice. Besides, now he thinks about it, he feels terrible, and probably has done for so long that he's gotten used to it. He could use a soak.
So he takes off all his clothes, neatly arranging them nearby, and boy is he skinny. Just small and narrow-built, anyway, but also bony. A stiff breeze would snap this fellow in half. This isn't on display for very long, though, as he slips into the water almost up to his nose, closing his eyes for a moment.
They snap open the moment someone approaches. He blurbles and then remembers half his face is underwater. Whups. He rises a bit with a sheepish grin.]
Hola. There's plenty of room and the water's great...
[The look on his face is almost begging you not to leave.]
c.Training Ground
[He's dragged into a meditation circle but he demurs, hesitant to even try to do anything magical.]
No, thanks, I already know what kind of magic I have and it's not good, never has been, probably never will be, so maybe I'll just sit this one out, okay? Or I could cheer you along? Or...
[Some kind of energy is building]
...or, or I could sit here rooted to the spot and panic! [He covers his face with his hands. The energy passes him by with no effect. After a beat he parts his fingers enough to reveal one eye. His gaze darts before he lowers his hands.]
Nothing happened? Nothing happened. I don't understand.
[He looks at the person next to him.]
Did you see anything?
2B; ciao bruno
Uhh— no, no, no, no. Thanks, but I'm just looking for my lizard monster. Have you seen—
[ He pulls over a canvas bag that's strapped over his shoulder, shifting it across his chest to dig through it. There's clearly... a fair amount of stuff in there? Just from the looks of all the lumps and spikes.
Wh-Why are there spikes...?! What all does he have in there?!But he produces a drawing of a... something. Alberto steps cautiously a bit closer to the edge of the hotspring and holding the slightly wrinkled paper out at arms' length for Bruno to inspect. ]Her?

Rastaban Aesen | Original Character | Alchemy & Green Magic
A. Soaking in your arrival
[Rastaban didn’t know how long he had been asleep. It felt like he had been trapped in darkness for a lifetime. The sudden light was too bright. He barely had time to react before he fell into icy waters with a startled cry. He was paralyzed by the shock and freezing cold to do anything as he sank. His frost-bitten eyes stiffly tried to widen when the Lady of the lake put a vial of something against his lips. Rastaban had never seen the nameless goddess that chose him but as he felt the numbing cold vanish, he couldn’t help but wonder if this mysterious woman was her? But how? He had so many questions, but she left his side as soon as she appeared. Rastaban was still lost in a reverent haze when something scooped him out of the water.
His fit of coughing as he struggled to breathe brought him back to reality, or rather whatever this place was? His tired eyes widened in wonder at the giant ice turtle carrying him. He rested on the turtle’s back as he took several deep breaths to calm his mind. One thing was clear. This wasn’t Earth. Somehow, he had traveled to another world, again. Were the others here? He weakly rested his hand over his heart with a small frown. He couldn’t feel his connection to the nameless goddess at all. What happened after he was shot? His thoughts were interrupted when the turtle reached its destination. Rastaban set his questions aside for later and switched to a more comfortable persona.
Rasta was a bit wobblily when she disembarked but she quickly caught herself with practiced grace. Her light green eyes narrowed slightly in a tiny scowl as she attempted to get some of the water out of her drenched long black hair. It felt weird pulling her hair back when she was this persona and she quickly shook her hair free as soon as she was finished. It was still a lifeless drenched mess, but it would have to do. She wrapped her arms around herself to keep from shivering as she looked around. The potion helped but she came from a desert and had never gotten used to the cold weather on Earth. It made her feel weaker than she already was. She pushed that frustrating thought aside and walked over to the first person she saw with a polite smile.]
Pardon me? I’m looking for my friends. Have you seen anyone with strange eyes? Perhaps silver, violet, fiery, rippling blue or mist like ones?
B. The Red Spring
[Rastaban dramatically sat on the bed with a sigh, his voice deepening a little as he pulled his hair back and started to weave it into a long braid. He had forgotten how overwhelming a new world could be and the absence of his friends made it harder. Still, at least this time there were plenty of resources and he spent the entire caravan trip researching this new world. Being expected was strange but a relief. He wasn’t sure he could have relied on a stranger’s kindness to save him this time.
Speaking of strangers, he tensed and stopped braiding when someone came into the room, his green eyes narrowed slightly as he closed his eyes with a tired sigh and a quiet mutter.]
Couldn’t you have waited a few more minutes?
[At least he managed to find some dry clothes in the...magic wardrobe. His steampunk suit wasn’t as feminine as the off-shoulder sweater he was wearing when he arrived, though it did feel strange wearing clothes from his world again.]
C. Training
[Rastaban waited until it was late before checking out the training grounds. He needed to learn about the magic here but he had enough interaction with people for one day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as empty as he wanted. No surprise, he wasn't the only one adjusting to a new world. He kept to himself as he experimented. He could feel something similar to his nature magic but nothing was working. He inwardly took a deep breath, refusing to let his frustration show as he tried archery, one of the few skills he was proud of. Still nothing and his shot hit wide of the bullseye.
His eyebrow twitched with frustration. This was ridiculous. In his world his magic was naturally a part of him. It felt like a lost puzzle piece he didn’t know he needed. He didn’t have to find anything and was he really that rusty? He silenced the mocking in his mind with a determined glare as he notched another arrow. His head swam a little, but he quickly pushed his fatigue aside. He wasn’t done.]
D. Ingredient Hunt
[Rasta wasn’t much of a baker but she was curious about the plants here. It seemed like a waste of an opportunity not to explore. Besides, they said it was safe, relatively anyway but Rasta could take care of herself, and she wasn’t alone. A ghostly wildcat with fur that shimmered like stars silently watched over her.
Rasta had been speechless when she first saw her familiar. She hadn’t expected a legendary star hunter, the mysterious cats that always stood by the mages’ side in all the ancient paintings. The cat being a ghost was a painful reminder of the home she lost but the cat was also a precious gift. She wasn’t sure if it was just this place’s magic giving her what she wanted or if the star hunter was somehow the lost soul of one of the legendary cats. Either way, she didn’t want to lose this unexpected treasure and her hand kept going back to the cat’s ghostly fur as she walked. It felt like something was there but at the same time not, but that fragile connection was enough for her and she explored the forest with a faint smile.
She reluctantly moved her hand away to gently pull one of the plants closer to her with an inquisitive hum.]
I wonder what this one is called?
[Is it a cider berry, strangler fig, little leek or something else entirely?]
E. Calls you Daddy
[Curiosity killed the mage. The bizarre eggs were too interesting not to investigate and Rastaban unwittingly touched the egg. He instantly wanted to protect the little thing but how? Panicked memories of his home being destroyed and being shot suddenly paralyzed him. He couldn’t introduce such a fragile thing into the dangerous world. Wait, where did it go? Rastaban raced to the open window just as the little egg hopped outside. He leaned over the window precariously with a horrified shout.]
Wait! It’s too dangerous out there!
E
Before the little egg can wander off on its own, Tsumugi scoops it up in his arms. ] Whew... [ As it tries to squirm out of his safe and secure hold, he looks up to Rastaban. ]
Are you okay? [ please don't fall out the window??? ]

Chrome Dokuro | Katekyo Hitman REBORN! | Animal (or Cognitive ???) & Siphon
[Chrome enters the training grounds to get more clarity. She's been wondering something ever since she's arrived. She touches her stomach and realizes she has organs there. Her right eye is still gone, but her organs are present and functioning without her illusory powers. She wasn't able to produce any illusions either. So she wonders what sort of magic did she have now?
Instead of trying her hand at target practice or an obstacle course, she instead takes to mediation. Partly, she was hoping to reach someone from her world, or at least feel Mukuro's presence that has always brought her comfort in uncertainty. Yet, she feels nothing. Though she tries to concentrate, honing in on whatever abilities she might have here. She then starts to hear voices, tiny unfamiliar whispers. She opens her eyes in shock, looking around to where she might have heard the voice.]
D-did someone just speak?
[ She's quickly hushed by the other mages in the room, and Chrome falls into silence. But she knows what she heard! She surveys the room, before spotting a mouse staring back at her. Maybe that's who she heard?]
Ingredient Hunt 2022
A.[ Chrome doesn't mind going to the forest alone. Even if she's still getting accustomed to her magic and this new environment, she feels she can handle this on her own. Plus she has her cat familiar to keep her company. Though, if another mage is to cross paths with her, then she won't discourage the company.
She finally comes across the area with the special ingredients. Her purple eyes wander over to a few bushes with bits of chocolate for the picking. It's not one of the ingredients she's looking for, but she can't deny her sweet tooth.]
...are these okay to eat?
[She's speaking to no one in particular, and her familiar doesn't seem alarmed, so it must be okay. If you come across the young girl, you'll catch her in the middle of enjoying some delicious chocolate. Won't you have some?]
B. [Once she has her fill, she starts looking into the other special ingredients she needs for the bake-off. She wanders over to the cider berries attracted to their vibrant color and picks them unbeknownst to the side effects they might have. Then she comes across the stranger fig-trees, she doesn't pick up how the trees seem to dominate the other surrounding flora, but she keeps her large eyes towards the fruit. She moves towards the tree to pick them. However, she looks away for a moment to secure her footing, and that activates the tree to defend its fruit. The root stretches toward her, wrapping around her leg and yanking her violently off her feet.]
AH!
[ Chrome tries to kick the root around her leg free, but the tree is too strong. She tries to use her staff to pry the wood loose, but to no avail! Someone help!]
Bake off
[After that scare in the forest, it's a wonder how she has the will to bake anything, but Chrome wanted to do this. She works diligently to make her confection. She decides to make a toffee pudding with the stranger figs being the main focus and the cider berries being a colorful garnish. The toffee pudding comes together nicely and it smells pretty good too.
She allows her taste-tester to try it, toying with her fingers anxiously to see if they will like it. Unfortunately, they will both get a shock since the cider berries will make the taster breathe fire. Oops!]
Aurora Bearealis
[After nurturing the egg for a week or so, it finally cracks to reveal...a bear? If that wasn't strange enough, the bear starts to glow a prismatic light. Chrome doesn't touch it, because she's apprehensive of what could happen.
However, when she does take the bear out for some fresh air, she doesn't expect the hatchling to pick a fight with anyone that comes near! Hearing the bear's thought, she someone how gets a heads up of who it intends to attack before it happens. So it's enough time to warn anyone who might get too close. Sadly, you're the unlucky one!]
W-watch out!
[Chrome tries to hold the bear to her chest as it fights to get loose. Suddenly it launches itself out of the young girl's arm and lunges for you.]
Ingredient Hunt B.
[There’s a familiar voice as Gokudera hears a yell, recognizing it as a sound of distress. He hasn’t sampled any of the ingredients he’s been gathering, but… he’s been picked up by trees before during faerie trials, and tentacles, and by some strange enemies here and there.
Cutting that branch apart with a swift combination electric-light saw-blade is easy work and he isn’t fully caught off-guard until he notices just who the sorry sap is that-
-Holy fuck when did Chrome get here?!
Oh!
Gotta catch her or something!
But Gokudera isn’t the one doing that. Nope. Instead there will be a large bubble appearing beneath her to cushion the fall, and she can slide right off if she wants. Who ever made that bubble is very much not Gokudera. He looks just as stunned as she probably feels.]
Dokuro?! When did you get here?!

Abigail Williams | fgo
Abby is a good girl, she swears! But, well… after seeing so many people enjoying alcohol back home. And even here, who could blame her for taking a peek. Or really several peeks. Then a few glances around herself, there didn’t seem to be anyone really taking much notice to the little, blond girl at the bar. Hm- should she go for it?
A particularly fancy bottle catches her attention that makes her eyes shine. That one, it has to be that one. It was so very big with a more standout label than the rest!
Target acquired. Commencing operation, get booze.
Another glance around herself to make sure no one was looking; Abigail began to stealthily... stealthily... raise herself up to get that expensive looking bottle.
Sometimes being a bad girl paid off.
II – Bake Off
Abigail found the whole situation both odd and fascinating. Kind of like Chaldea, but in its own little way. She supposed she’s seen more fantastic and terrible things beforehand, sure, but there was something about seeing a bunch of people, in another world that was meant to be a version of Avalon, baking. Not just baking, but competitively baking.
And she was reaping all the rewards for herself.
“Mm…! Shoo good~!” She hummed, holding up a sleeve covered hand to her full cheek as she chewed her current baked good. Ah- and there were so many others to try! Someone… stop her before she gets a tummy ache!
III - Aurora Bearealis
Abigail was playing with a bear… ABIGAIL. WAS. PLAYING. WITH. A. BEAR! And giggling and rolling around with it as she wrapped her arms around the cub’s shoulders. Wrestling it to the ground in a playful, mock battle!
There could only be one, and it appeared that she was destined to be that one! Quickly gaining the upper hand over said bear and pinning it to the ground with a giggle! How fearsome!

Horrific, mesmerizing, sickening, and seductive all rolled into one and then some. Like just glancing at it was something unfathomably damnable by the action’s very nature.
Like they could see… something looking at them. Looking at them from somewhere…
It’s natural to want to vomit afterwards, or to curl into a ball, repeating the phrases or attempting to. Over and over, over and over. All the while feeling some… indescribably dread slinking into your very being.

The chase had taken them well past the Elphame snowdrifts, heading into thicker, colder woods. The girl was a perfect opportunity, they thought. ]
"Grab the girly!" [ One of the goblins shouted, another doing just that, using the element of surprise they still had to secure her with one of their nets, a knife quickly coming to Artoria's throat.
A horrible situation to wind up in, really. ]
"Don't come any closer! We got a hostage, now!"
[ One of them shouted, spat really, into the darkened path they had been running down. The gashadokuro had slid to a halt as well, turning to face down their pursuer... A pursuer that cast off its own light, cutting through the dark, as it came closer... ]

Doraemon | Standby By Me Doraemon | Not sure on magic yet
[Today in Camelot something odd has washed up on the shore of the lake. A 4 foot tall, blue, earless "cat" has arrived laid out on his back. For a moment he struggles to right himself awkwardly, rolling about like a barrel for a minute before finally standing up.
He looks very happy with himself.]
Well, this is strange. This doesn't look like the 20th century at all.

Lambo Bovino | Katekyou Hitman REBORN! | Dark and Kinetic
[Why is there a five year old in snow jail? How did he get there? What did he do? Whatever the reason, he can’t get out and is gross-crying over it. Someone help the kid out.]
The Great Avalon Bake-Off
[ Lambo isn’t interested in baking, but what he is interested in is sampling the many baked goods the contestants are working on. A swipe of frosting here and a bite of cookie there, perhaps you’ve caught him red-handed, noticed the icing on his face or he’s literally taking a nap on the same plate your cake used to be.
If caught in the act, he will simply say; ] Lambo-san is just sampling it.
Ingredient Hunt 2022- Cider Berries
[ After being caught eating a contestant’s confection, Lambo has been sent off to replace their previously gathered ingredients. What the poor contestant doesn’t seem to realize, is that the five-year old can’t be trusted and what Lambo has failed to realize, is that these ingredients come with consequences.
After a little hunt, Lambo covets his berry with a sinister cackling that quickly evolves into a boisterous laugh. ]
HAHA! The last berry! [ no it’s not ] Lambo-san will show you! [ Anyone caught looking at his gloating will receive a loudly-blown raspberry before he tosses the glowing berry into his mouth.
The child’s next triumphant laugh is cut short when a burst of fire shoots out of his mouth. ] Bwahaha- AHH!
Snow Jail
But at the same time?]
