Character Name: Jade Leech
Canon: Twisted Wonderland
Info: Comes from that canon about pretty boys inspired by Disney Villians and set in a magic school. In this case Jade is based on one of the eels from the Little Mermaid and is in fact an actual eel merman. But usually he's just chilling in his human form.

Outwardly, he's polite and friendly, with delicate manners, eager to help others. Think kind of a butler like atmosphere. Internally he's a bit of a schemer who likes finding out info on people, manipulating others, and plotting mischief. It's all totally in the name of fun though.

He's also a giant nerd who likes hiking, mountain climbing, collecting wild plants and mushrooms, and also building terrariums. I'm not even joking, he loves the great outdoors and is a giant dweeb about it.

Magics & Familiar: Healing/Green. Familiar is a small sea serpent

Desired CR: Aside from building on his present cr, more friends and even potential enemies are always welcome. Jade's the kind of person that's good for all kinds of CR. Despite his core of evilness, he's good at getting along with and befriending other people. He actually really enjoys taking care of others.

But he's also a bit of a manipulator and hates boredom, so it's easy for him to get in too deep or go too far.

It should also be noted that he's friends with Azul and works at his restaurant, so that's another avenue for CR. He's the type that "wears many hats."

Jade's also open to going on quests and is pretty reliable as a partner. As long as it's worthwhile, interesting, he'll probably be open to helping.

Known Plans: Going to do the fishing quest for sure, since his alternate form is built for it and also body switching with Azul. I'm also open to other quests and even tdm meme prompts!

Other: The end of last month/start of this month killed me due to holidays/health issues/work issues/car issues/all the issues known to man. I'm hoping to ease myself back into tagging, though so thanks for bearing with me!

Oh Alberto, if he knows you're down for all the exploring, he's never going to let you go because no one indulges his hobby back home. I hope he likes mushrooms. Like a lot.

Yes I think they'll have a lot to entertain each other with, especially since Jade actually doesn't have the urge to feed him dubious food (less entertaining to poison actually kids lol).

I would bet good money based on off-hand canon implications that Alberto has eaten many poisonous plants and probably some mushrooms he should not have eaten over the past few years, just riding on the "fuck around and find out" train. that is... basically his whole MO. fuck around and find out. Alberto would eat anything if he felt so inclined to, it's probably a problem.

so. a good thing jade probably won't poison him intentionally LMAO.

but they can ABSOLUTELY climb all the mountains, see all the things! how does jade feel about launching himself off a cliffside for fun and risking his life for a cheap thrill lol cuz c:

Not intentional poisoning or at least not harmful poisoning. There was just a canonical moment where he knowingly fed people mouth-numbing mushrooms because he wanted to see them be surprised and played it off as harmless.

And lmao! He's probably less out and out get himself killed by jumping but he will watch Alberto jump with amusement because that is very much a thing is brother would do. And then heal him afterward. Maybe even encourage Alberto on occasion to do risky things.

Jade wouldn't need to try very hard to encourage Alberto to do risky things. He will accept any dare with enthusiasm and celebrate every failure like it's a success. He's bonkers, a wild child. But would definitely adore hiking and swimming and is a great lil forager and spends most of his time outside when it's not snowy and miserable.

But now he has clothes!! And learned a Dry Spell! so now he's invincible lmao a free man, loose on the town once more ahaha

Oh Jade's going to be such a bad influence once they get to know each other better.

And he'd enjoy knowing that he's down for that much. There's a lot to do out there in the potentially monster infested woods.
