Somnus! Rinea appreciates him greatly, though it's tinged with deep-seated melancholy. Somnus is stoic, yeah, but rather than coming across as just "blank" it has a edge of sadness to it? And now that he has mentioned his brother Rinea has more of a window into why, though rather than makes things clear that just wound up with her having more questions. What kind of person is Somnus? Why is his brother feuding so terribly with him? She kind of wants to ask, but she hasn't yet out of politeness and because she doesn't really know what she would do with the answer.

More immediately though is the obvious danger they're both in. 😩 She's definitely a little more paranoid about her surroundings now that she knows Somnus has a mortal enemy just Out There LMFAO... she definitely never goes outside alone atm. Even so, the act of Somnus worrying about her is kind of nice?!? He's so opaque that the fact he's concerned at all is kind of a confirmation that she's not a totally unwanted presence. That and as one of his many shows of quiet kindness it makes her feel like whatever happened between Somnus and Ardyn, Somnus was surely ultimately redeemable. (This may be poor judgment on Rinea's part, but she isn't exactly known for good judgment when it comes to jerk behavior... LMFAOOOO)
