Character Name: Rin Tohsaka
Canon: Fate/Stay Night (Unlimited Blade Works side of things)
Info: Rin is one of the Masters from The Fifth Grail War; a battle royale for mages, where they try to kill each other's Servants (or each other since that works too) to be the last Master/Servant pair left. Most people enter it because the prize is supposed to be a wish to the Holy Grail but Rin entered hers just to win it. She wins it in her timeline without even killing anyone herself, but Stay/Night has 3 different timelines with different events and endings.

She can act all prim and proper and fake being always calm and reserved like Tohsaka heiress and all Tohsakas are supposed to be... She has been doing that for years but actually she is not like that. Rin is bossy, sometimes rude and used to be doing whatever she feels like doing. She has some fierce temper, she gets mad sometimes and she's not the nicest girl around here... She has her secret soft side too, she is a tsundere when she falls for someone and she could talk about magic all the time. Rin has been lonely and alone through most of her life. Her father was killed during the Fourth war, that happened ten years before the Fifth one and her mother wasn't the same after that (she kind of went insane and died some time afterwards) and her little sister Sakura was adopted out even before the Fourth war begun. Normal people can't find out about magic existing where she is from, so she acted like a normal girl at school and secretly practiced magic after classes. Luckily Fifth war brought some real friends and connections into her life.

Thanks to being a CRAU from Prisma, where she had a good year, and being from post-war and one of her cute endings there, she is more friendlier, happier and relaxed these days. Definitely not hiding anything about being a mage either these days.

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic & Kitsune

Desired CR: Anything and everything here too? Friends? Sparring partners? Go on cute dates with her even if she keeps things platonic with most people now? Rivals? Not impossible being enemies with her either I guess, she doesn't really hide it if she doesn't like someone. Let's talk about magic? She can be pretty social and sometimes she can just stay away from being social by reading books and practicing magic.

Known Plans: Maybe she'll go try her magic by trying to push those trolls off of the bridge... She'll probably get an open post too, sooner or later, whenever I get that done. I'm. Kinda just rolling with whatever happens.

Canon: Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works

Info: Volatile sorceress who is not taking to being dragged to another world very well. She's defensive and has a temper and a mass of trust issues - and well goes around looking like some fairytale evil witch making herself look ridiculously suspicious. Caster's still hiding her actual identity behind her Servant class, for the time being.

Magic & Familiar: Dark / Skeletal Dragon

Desired CR: She's antagonistic by nature, so of course negative CR is always welcome - and I imagine if any of the more heroic types get in a philosophy debate with her that's likely to lead to tension. But also the poor woman needs some friends who can get her out of her shell a bit and show her that being stuck in another world isn't the most awful thing ever. Other dark magic users to practice with are also good. She's very, very attached to her Master back home so whilst people are welcome to flirt with or show interest in her, she's unlikely to reciprocate for the time being.

Known Plans: Longer term I'd like Caster to get into brewing potions, so she's going to be attempting - and failing - at doing that for a while. She might try and look into ways to summon her Master to the world herself which will, likewise, go poorly. Also, she's got the Golden Fleece stashed away in her room, so happy to plot things that might involve it being uncovered and questions about her identity coming up.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV

Info: He's the main villain of the Shadowbringers expansion, a tired, ancient man in the much younger body of his last vessel. Having once pulled the strings of many empires and been a party to the end of seven worlds, he was on track to end an eighth before being stopped by the Warrior of Light. Now he's coming to terms with the terms with the possibility of saving the world which sees him as a mortal (or rather, immortal) enemy, and it's left him feeling more than a little out of sorts... He'd rather just sleep forever, but life is never that easy.

Magic & Familiar: Alchemy, shadow gwiber

Desired CR: Nothing really specific but I would like to see if he can get along with more people outside of his cast. I'm looking to branch out in general.

Known Plans: I have a log post up right now with some monthly quests and one of the TDM prompts.

Other: I'm a tiny bit of a slow tagger (average turn around 1-3 days). But if you're fine with the pace then I'm happy to continue tagging until a thread is done or there's nothing more to say. Also! I know Dreamwidth/Gmail have sometimes kept tags from reaching me, so do message me if I haven't responded after a week.

Canon: Sailor Moon
Info: Usagi was a normal girl up until the day, when she became a magical girl, Sailor Moon, who fights against evil, darkness and chaos and other things with her friends. She has been through A LOT during her magical girl years, she started as a crybaby but she's mentally much stronger these days.

Usagi is extremely social, extremely affectionate and she's so cheerful that she's like literal sunshine anywhere she goes. She never gives up on hope, she rambles a lot, asks a lot of questions and she wants to try being friends with everyone. She absolutely loves eating but she can't cook and breakfast times here are horrible, so please feed her anytime.

CRAU from Prisma because I didn't want her to forget crosscanon friends from her short stay there during its last few months. She also met Mamoru from a later canon point there, so she is less worried about everything back home even if she misses everyone a lot.

Magic & Familiar: Animal & Moon Rabbit

Desired CR: Everything and anything! Please feed her! Let's be friends. Let's go do all kinds of fun things. Practice magic together? Cute platonic dates? Sleepovers? Is she annoying you with her positivity or anything else? Too bad she won't go away or she will return to you again and again... She knows what it's like to be lonely and doesn't want anyone to suffer from that. Good for bickering friendships too.

Known Plans: I have ideas for a network post and an open log, might post both whenever I get them done. Super late to Usagi possibly making snow animals, that start dancing but heeeeey, rl was much more important.

Other: has a cute engagement ring on her finger all the time but doesn't even have her silver crystal with her here. (Not that she could even do anything with it but too powerful magical item anyway)

Canon: Hellsing: The Dawn
Info: He's a battle butler from World War Two that's a part of a secret organization protecting the Great Britain/the UK from all manner of supernatural threats. There is no mention of his family in canon literally anywhere, so he's a plus one for the orphan crowd in game, too. He's also hyper-competent in terms of keeping house, currently behind on general scholastic studies, but well-read in things supernatural.

He also has way too much on his shoulders because he got brought here in the middle of trying to save the Allies/the world by taking down a Nazi vampire production operation. Even with the more relaxed atmosphere, he's not taking a break or relaxing much at all, but constantly training and doing quests and attempting to get enough to eat in the middle of all that.

He also hates the microwaves. The microwaves are abominations to him.
Magic & Familiar: Kinetic magic, Black Dog familiar
Desired CR: Anything is welcome, but I'm especially looking for people for Walter to train and/or experiment with, either sparring or developing strategies for using multiple forms of magic. Maybe someone can suggest he get a stable source of income? He's an evening/night boy so he's a little limited due to going out during the witching hour being frowned upon. Or someone could even bring up the dreaded subject of school. That might get an interesting reaction.
Known Plans: I have him doing the Brave of Soul prompt with Chang Geng/Li Min and am eager for the CR from that. I am also looking to get Walter into battle quests and doing a bit of clean-up for non-combat questing. That and getting the brownies out of his walls (I may need someone with established CR to pop by to thread that out).

Rei is pretty easy to interact with since he enjoys meeting people for info purposes, but can just as easily get on someone's nerves by being (gestures to all of him) Like That. Establishing a club / performance house

If your character is a musician/actor/stand up comedian/performs on stage in some manner and needs a place TO play at, I'm working on Rei starting a venue! I'm thinking a live house with a club/bar area attached to it (or the live house is the basement floor and the club is on the ground floor.... DETAILS UNCLEAR ATM but u get the idea for atmospheric reference).
It will get advertised ICly and all that jazz, payment details explained, floor plan drawn, yadda yadda. Just putting out there that It's Happening and performers of all stripes should be able to fit in and get that sweet sweet gig money lol \o/ Please come play!!! Also because this is Rei we're talking about i'm sure it has a shady back room where god knows what happens. Jk he just uses it for team meetings with sasara and rosho

Quests

Rei needs to rack up quest points in order to open the live house, so I'll be tagging into others's posts for that! If there's anything particular you think would be a good/fun fit, then by all means hit me up.
I also need to figure out how to engage the AOL troll in a post, since that's right up Rei's alley. He's not strictly a hacker (or hasnt been revealed as one YET, lol hypmic), but he IS a social engineer (lol) and works with tech as a bioengineer inventor, so if I can figure out how to swing it it's TIME TO CATFISH CON A TROLL
I'm interested in Rei getting more into the technomagic that was mentioned in the FAQ as well, so he'll probably start messing with that through this quest as well. Listen, I just think Rei learning to send people dark magic ransomware is REALLY funny.

I also have an idea for what his greatest fear would be in the brave of soul prompt, should anyone need accompaniment there!

Info: Dust is what happens when the souls of a teenage boy and a professional assassin get glued together by magic to create an ultimate warrior. Dust took out an army, killed the genocidal general leading it, and then took a swim in the lava. Now he's here, dealing with a life that isn't literally constant battle and adventure and doing a little bad at it!

Magic & Familiar: Elemental, Quetzalcoatl
Desired CR: Dust needs people who will help him adapt to a more normal life. The idea that he can do things that aren't adventure has literally not occurred to him yet. He's also much lonelier than he admits or even realizes, since the friend that was with him literally his entire life is gone. So please befriend and help this poor fuzz.
Known Plans: Dust is eager to take quests, particularly ones that involve fighting.

Character Name: Morgan Knight
Canon: Mage: the Ascension (CRAU)
Info: A martial artist mage from a nexus world, Morgan's adapting to this whole situation just fine (even the weirdness that is his AU daughter; he's seen weirder AUs in his time). He's a pretty chill guy, just out to enjoy life and learn from all these new experiences, and see what he can do to help y'all out.
Magic & Familiar: Kinesis, Hydra
Desired CR: Negative people - cynics, pessimists, unhappy folks, people struggling to adjust - these are the sort of people Morgan is here to be relentlessly cheerful and philosophical towards, in the hopes of making your stay a better one. He's very interested in training people in martial arts, if anyone wants that, and loves to spar with others. He generally finds a way to fit well with most people, honestly. He's a total flirt and up for some fun, but is recovering from relatively recently being made a widower -- still, if something happens organically, it happens.
Known Plans: Related to his desired CR, he'd like to help people out -- teaching, training, support. I'm considering having him open a dojo for that purpose.

Known Plans: I definitely want to do the snow yeti wrestling one---looks like a fun time. He's stronger than he looks, so he can be either role if needed. I also need to get him a job, he'll likely be struggling with customer service skills in some poor hobby shop.

Desired CR: Pretty much anything EXCEPT romance and/or stalkers. Friends would be good, but I enjoy negative CR as well. I'm fairly open.
Known Plans:I'd love someone to show her the Quest Board because she still is unaware of that, and I am thinking o putting up a hunt for Corn (a specific faerie who isn't in game) thread at some point...
Other: Warning: her usual clothing in game is so bright a pink it is like a curse that once you see it you can never forget.

Character Name: Donovan Deegan
Canon: Dominic Deegan
Info: A bard who is old enough to be a grandfather who used to be the only one in his family without a magical talent (unless you count being a gifted musician and funny man) who still managed to not just hold his own but defend his friends and family. Quick with a joke, especially a bad one, Donovan loves to make people smile. But he will not hesitate to take down anyone who hurts the people he loves. Also, this man will dedicate DECADES to a single punchline. Do not under estimate his Roger Rabbit levels of "only when it is funny".
Magic & Familiar: Elemental magic that he still isn't aware of. His familiar is a hot pink flying jackalope that he can ride into battle. Because what enemy in their right minds will be able to fight with THAT ion the battle field? Also, it is funny. And real men wear pink.
Desired CR: Friends and found family mostly. No romance because he is faithful to his wife, though he might flirt for a pun or to lift someone's spirits. Could do foes, but please plot with me first.
Known Plans: Again, I would love someone to show him the quest board. He just barely can use his phone at all. So tech lessons, please?

Info: Merlin's long lost twin sister who was raised by a magical forrest and grew up talking to plants and animals. She was always obsessed with flight and the wings that legend said their people once had. Now that she has her wings she loves to fly. Wild child who knows little of civilization, with a strong "bratty but loving older sister" vibe going for her. She will happily land on you if she thinks your ego needs taking down a peg or three.
Magic & Familiar: animal, but since talking to animals is the norm for her and she hasn't shifted yet, she doesn't realize she has any. Her familiar is a phoenix so she has someone to fly with. The phoenix is NB and so Rhia jumps between male and female pronouns when talking about him/her.
Desired CR: Found family for sure. Friends. Rivals could be fun. Willing to do negative CR with her, please just plot with me first.
Known Plans: She also needs to learn to use the phone and the QB. Mostly her plans are hunting for winter berries and trying to find a tree that will talk to her, lol.
Other: She's from a book series, so sadly no gifs or images. But I do have a song.

Basically in Rhia’s series she was lost in the woods as an infant, seperated from her parents and twin. She was raised by the forest, befriending trees and animals and even the river. Real forest girl. Always was obcessed with flight, to the point that she and some of the trees came up with a game where they would throw her from tree to tree so she could be like a flying squirrel and glide between them.

Then in her early teens her twin brother, Merlin, washed ashore and found her woods. They didn know who each other was, but she trusted her instincts and brought out the hero he didn’t know he had inside. They became closer, eventually found out they were twins, saved their mother’s life, had all sorts of adventures. And then when they gathered all the races of their land to stand and fight as one, they were granted back their wings, and she could fly for real.

But even here she is still the bratty know it all big sister type used to a brother who swings from arrogant to depressed and self loathing and from wanting to learn and do everything NOW to lazy as all get out. She basically made it her job to keep her brother from getting too big a head or dumping on himself too much.

In game she’s started treating a bunch of people like they were her brother and it went well, so she sees no reason not to decide that is how you deal with boys, lol. She... really does not have all that much experiance with humans yet, despite theoretically being one by her world’s definition. But she could spend an hour talking with a squirrel without a problem.

Oh, that's cool! She can easily play around with Link's bird, even if I doubt Red will be able to carry her around. Flying is also one of Link's big passions so he will relate and probably be very enthusiastic about it. (Also, awww for her growing up like that!)

Hers seems to be an interesting story, thank you for sharing, and I'm more than willing to offer my boy as extra 'bro', we need to make them meet now! Not to mention they can both talk to animals, here!

Info: He is an angel who is canonically bffs with the serpent of Eden aka Crowley. Back in his own world he has a bookshop but he doesn't like to sell his books. Nice, awkward, anxious and a bit of a bastard, Aziraphale has been on earth 6000+ years, he was in two dwrps before this one (Diatu, a magic school. Tramitem, a memory loss set in NYC.) and following the events of Tramitem, he is dating Crowley. You may have seen the obnoxious New Years post.
Magic & Familiar: Alchemy, Lamassu.
Desired CR: ALL THE CR. Especially maybe some unfriendly kinds.
Known Plans: Nothing I know of aside from trying to get a house with Crowley. He's currently making excuses to not work with Lamassu. He may try to learn baking, so I might send him to get a job at a bakery.

Info: 23 year old cat man, former ninja and conscripted soldier for FFXIV's token Evil Empire, current semi-professional carpenter with hopes to help save the multiverse. He's a CRAU from Prismatica, meaning he's used to the idea of more than one universe as well as having more self-confidence than he might otherwise.
Magic & Familiar: Cognitive and Foper
Desired CR: All kinds! Cehd'ra is a supremely easy going sort, definitely easier to befriend than make an enemy of, but the latter is possible. Partners for questing would be a big plus as well as folk willing to help him practice his magic by being guinea pigs.
Known Plans: No solid plans beyond forging ahead, earning gold and helping fulfill quests. He'll prefer the non-combat options so a noble title is probably in his future. I do have some silly ideas for him to build a treehouse outside the city to live in...

Info: He's that overworked, underpaid, underappreciated depressed milennial everyone can relate to. (im not kidding i think he's like one of the most popular characters b/c of that) he's just some salaryman who works at a company that produces medical equipment, and his boss/coworkers all bully him. he also moonlights as a rapper for the division team Matenrou and is in a 0 feet apart b/c they are gay relationship with his roomate amd childhood friend Hifumi (oh my god, they were roommates)

I could gush about him more but suffice to say he has really REALLY bad anxiety and depression (I try to tone done the latter a little) and is absolutely terrified of standing up for himself. #relatable

Magic & Familiar: Dark magic, and a floating zombie whale called a Bake-kujira
Desired CR: I'd love anything, esp both people who can encourage him to be in a better mind place and have more self esteem and also people who can bully him around. The guy can snap and get into fights too so I would look forward to that....even if he'd lose horribly

Have people teach him new hobbies! That life doesnt end now that he's almost 30. He likes plants and Hifumi! He's really savage and incredibly protective when he gets attached to people!! Him working with younger kids would be super cute too.

Known Plans: All I have for him so far is that he is going to be working in the clinic with Jakurai when he gets that set up. Otherwise I would like to get him to use his magic more, even if it leads to him cursing himself more often than not. He needs to get involved in things even if he doesn't want to!!

Other: I will say he does deal with a heavy load of depression and anxiety; I try to deal with it as well as I can but it is a large part of his character, so if you want to avoid contact with him because of that thats perfectly fine, just drop me a line.

(Also i do rp kuroko, but im unfortunately dropping him from this game b/c ive learned i can only handle one character per game)

Info: Cranky bastard ex-cop goth current-mafioso is very tsundere and rude but I swear he has depth. He's post-Eyes of Heaven, so it means he's from the rare "everybody lives" timeline.
Magic & Familiar: Cognitive | a very adorable pixie
Desired CR: Right now I'm just trying to establish his CR, so I'm really down for anything! He's gruff on the outside but he does have kind of a soft interior if you dig really really really deep.
