I totally forgot to mention the CRAU bit in my own post here, but Hijikata was on Prismatica before and butted heads with the Samatoki there a few times! He's a cop back home, but has a shitty temper, so they got into petty, silly arguments really easily.

If you'd like I'd be happy to throw him at your Samatoki one of these days! Hijikata won't expect him to be the Samatoki with the same memories / from the same timeline, but as least he knows what he's like already. The handicap is that they'd have to run into each other at night since Hijikata has to avoid the daylight at the moment, but perhaps we can arrange something!

Haha, grand! By now I saw Samatoki's catch-all post, so I could have Hijikata let Samatoki out of his not-pokéball if that works for you.
