Character Name: Toshirou Hijikata
Canon: Gintama
Info: A lawful but uncouth samurai policeman from an Edo that was conquered by aliens and rapidly modernised! I have a more in-depth info post here. On Avalon he leads a ghost patrol that keeps Camelot City safe at night.

Desired CR: As usual I'm up for anything!! Give me enemies, friends, partners in crime prevention, quest buddies, business partners, and whatever else you can think of! Apologies to his existing CR for my slowness; I changed locations last weekend and got occupied with some furnishing work, but I'm currently getting back in the RP saddle.

Quests and TDM Prompts Ideas: On the TDM front Hijikata may well sit out CameCon (like he did last year), but he'll fully tune in to the Trickle Down prompts! First he'll help defend Camelot City from the skeletons, later on he'll join those investigating the Forest of the Fisherking and, once they've concluded where the invaders came from, the expedition to the Unnamed Marshes. Who'd like to be his rafting partner there? They can brainstorm ideas about the will-o-wisps' activities and deal with the swamp nymphs! Hijikata, being a Prismatica CRAU, may initially feel inclined to help them... but he definitely won't want to be turned into an incubator, so this may end in a fight or something else, depending on what his rafting partner wants to do!

As for the Quests, he'll go for Garrrrr! Goyles (during the full moon since werewolves are immune to the petrification they can cause), The Missing Mindful (who wants to battle a fire wym... naked?!), and the Knight Quest (begrudgingly; why in the world do they have to do a good deed when he's way better at fighting monsters... if anyone needs a strong man for a community service please feel free to rope him into that, because he doesn't even know where to start on this)!

Known Plans: Now that it's springtime Hijikata will relocate back to his camp! It's near Camelot City and will save him the frequent totem travel there from the Forest of the Felled. That means that the cute little hut the old man used to live in will be freed up for someone else to move into! Hijikata probably won't advertise it, though, so CR essentially gets first dibs - or else anyone who talks to him about how they're looking for a remote little home.

Also he's still suffering from the giant hogweed potion's effect of not being able to be exposed to sunlight... he got poisoned in mid-February, and without treatment it can take up until 6 months to wear off, so he really should make a better effort on that front, especially since the days are getting longer and a tent, even reinforced, doesn't offer as much protection as a house. But at least he has a protective suit and helmet as of last month!

Other: No matter how much bullshit he gets into on Avalon, the working conditions are still better than in Edo.

Character Name: Kotarou Tennouji
Canon: Rewrite
Info: Kotarou is a bright, optimistic and frivolous guy who tries very hard to befriend people and wants to be a somebody in life. He used to have superpowers back home, but he feels more comfortable with the fact that people happily embrace magic powers here. On the surface, he's quite the annoying snarky jokester who tends to joke around and not take anything or anyone very seriously. He also has a really bad arrogant streak where he tends to look down people (sometimes unintentionally). But deep down, he's pretty pessimistic and frustrated with himself because he's constantly seeking ways to improve his life and himself as a person. Once you get past those layers, Kotarou is a kind and selfless guy at the core who's willing to help anyone that he comes across. A very loyal (and occasionally questionable) friend to have in your life!

Magics & Familiar: He has Light Magic and Blood Magic! Along with that, he carries a tsundere Leaf bird familiar who loves poking him a lot.

Desired CR: Open to all sorts of CR! Kotarou can be good for positive, negative or a mix of in-between given that he has a talent of annoying people by accident or otherwise. He's quite a proactive fellow who tends to pulls pranks or do all sorts of dumb shit to drag others along with him for fun or their own expense. He's also pretty nosy, so he might want to go on investigations like a detective and see what kind of mysterious/supernatural stuff is going on.

Also up for people who call him out on his over-the-top bullshit is nice since he's usually the funny guy while others play the straight man to him. Reversals are fun too since Kotarou can be quite the sarcastic guy or gets freaked out easily whenever others around him are calmer or more sillier than him. On a more serious note, Kotarou can be pretty supportive and uplifting to those who carry tragic pasts or hold heavy burdens on their shoulders because he's BEEN there. Might take some build up, but totally willing to play stuff like that out.

Known Plans: I've got an open log for him here! But no hard plans at the moment!

Character Name: Mash Kyrielight
Canon: Fate/Grand Order
Info: I'm just gonna assume you know what Servants are cause there are a ton of them in the game right now but lmk if you'd like a rundown of that and I’ll gladly provide. Basically Mash is a demi-servant (a human fused with a Heroic Spirit) - her class is Shielder. She is a member of Chaldea Security Organization's staff and is the ~~long-suffering~~ faithful first and primary servant of FGO's protagonist, Ritsuka Fujimaru. Together, they're fighting to save Proper Human History! Personality-wise, she's very kind, resourceful, and diligent. Quite sheltered but very book smart. Huge nerd. World's Best Kouhai.
Magics & Familiar: Light/Healing - ~~Man-eating~~ Fairy familiar

Desired CR: god I’ve been so bad at branching out! Hello out there!! I really want for Mash to make more friends and socialize! (but negative CR is also great if your character can bring themselves to be mean to her lmao) I’m open to just about anything. I know that’s really broad but WELP. Other bookworms and nerds? Yes! Fellow light magic users to help her train? You bet! People who just want to know who the chick always hanging around Ritsuka is?? TOTALLY VALID.

She’s also currently trying to figure out if her feelings for her senpai are romantic or not and I think a good way for her to do that is to make more actual friends/gain a better sense of interpersonal relationships (cause as I mentioned, she’s sheltered as heck.) so please help her out by giving me all your CR thank you 🙏

Quests and TDM Prompts Ideas: Definitely interested in CameCon cosplay (legendary heroes you say? Sounds like a perfect excuse for a Precure seiyuu joke!) and pondering solutions to the will-o-wisp situation. Very open to helping with this month’s knight quest if one wants to recruit her (as she is not yet a knight herself) and probably game to help with other quests too if there’s interest!

Known Plans: I’ll hopefully be making an open log with TDM prompts and maybe even some backdated Mab’s Cavern stuff later this week. Please look forward to it! ☆

Info: A kind, gentle, and responsible young man who's whole-heartedly devoted to theater. Smart in a lot of ways, but really stupid in others, to put it as kindly as possible. A good egg with massive grandma energy.
Magics & Familiar: Cognitive + Green! His familiar's a spectral dog named Fuyu.

Desired CR: "Any" feels like an unhelpful answer but really, I'm down for just about anything! Though I will say that negative might be a bit harder in that he doesn't really view others negatively????, and he's ~taken~.

Quests and TDM Prompts Ideas: I've got a few plans lined up for The Missing Mindful already, but I'd be down to tackle Hell in a Handbagsket or Garrrrr! Goyles! I'm also interested in doing something with CameCon, but I don't have anything concrete beyond "heheheheheh fortune festival tsumugi"

Info: Your local sentient AI dealing with PTSD and trying to have a normal life where she won't have to be a villain any more. Monika is very sweet, kind and caring. But beneath the surface she is very troubled and deals with guilt, anxiety, existential trauma and self-loathing. Being a sentient NPC who deleted her own friends in a video game will do that to you.

Magics & Familiar: Kinetic & Technomancy, Nine-tailed Fox

Desired CR: I'm happy with all kind of CR with Monika! Whether it's positive or negative CR, she can handle it. She's trying to get past her traumas, so more people she can talk about them and all the DDLC stuff would be neat. She's a great listener too, so if you need someone to listen to your character and helps them work through their issues, she's amazing at that. She can't help herself but she can help others just fine. No shippy stuff though, she's taken and extremely loyal to her girlfriend.

Known Plans: The past few months have been very heavy on Monika, but she's finally going back to a semblance of a normal life. She's started writing a book. She's considering opening a library, but she's unsure about it just yet. That asides, I don't have any concrete plan this month besides balancing Ereshkigal and

Info: The most hard-working Goddess of the Underworld you'll encounter, surprisingly kind and comes bundled with a lot of self-doubts and loneliness issues. She desperately wants to make friends but seeing how she has spent her entire existence in the Underworld, her social skills would rank at E if it was a RPG stat.

Magics & Familiar: Light & Death Magic, Gallû Spirit

Desired CR: Friends, lots of friends please. Ereshkigal is still struggling with the surface world, but she's trying super hard to work on her social skills! I'm also happy to go along with more negative CR.

Known Plans: Ereshkigal is investigating the local underworld and is going to go through an existential crisis upon realizing there is no such thing in Avalon. Apparently the dead become ghosts and either go back to their world's afterlives or get nommed by some giant. Upon realizing that, she is going to try and do what she can to save what souls she can. I don't have any specific plan right now, but Ereshkigal will probably participate in the event, whatever it'll be.

Info: I usually do a summary but this time I'm just gonna hand you my info post!

Desired CR: It's me I'm still that vague person who does the "lol anything!" thing. USELESS I KNOW. But the truth is that I just really like threading off all character types and seeing how things go! Whether pos or neg, friendly or familial or shippy, two peas in a pod or an odd couple, I find all of them fun, and the unexpected part is part of the fun to me.

That said, I will add this month that I've been really behind in this game for 2-3 months now and I actively want to fix that, so I would love to start by reconnecting with existing CR I've fallen out of touch with!! I apologize for how slow I've been and any dropped plans, as I've had a lot of RL going on since around the end of January and my brain has not been so good for things like reading event prompts or coming up with enough toplevels for a catchall post. Boooooo. Let's turn 2022 around!

Quests and TDM Prompts Ideas: It's time for the grand old tradition of me doing this while typing up this comment!

QUESTS: Most of this month's are not things Kadoc would go out of his way to do himself, but are things I'd be happy to get him involved in/play off of. I'd be happy to jump into the handbag quests either as a mark someone is trying to sell a handbag to or him doing the dark web version and interfering with a sale; he wouldn't sell any himself. I would be down for the spa quest with the caveat that, as some of you have surely noticed, I'm actually extremely terrible at any quest that involves having to plot out an involved action thread that comes to a resolution (e.g. the prison break quest). It's not you, it's me! So I think if I were to play around with this one I'd want it to be either an aftermath thread or just a questionable naked spa thread before any wyrm action happened, which would mean not actually being able to turn this one in for a reward. Alas. But if you're still down!

Kadoc might also let a plant grow in him tbh. It'll depend on the situation and whether people who consent to that get rewarded in any way (I've asked the mods), but frankly it's not outside the realm of shit he might do.

TDM: Kadoc would totally do the illusion based KotR game and feel really weird about it lol. But he can't help but be curious! Mythology is awesome! He wants to have this experience! I'm not going to put him in any cosplay but I'm happy to play off cosplaying characters, that sounds hilarious. I'm also down for orc shenanigans! Kadoc isn't a combatant, but he can get rescued, use his light magic to illusion things as support, do some good old convention field medicine, or any other wackiness you want to play with.

I'm also down for some Unnamed Marshes adventuring, though currently I'm very tired and having trouble coming up with specifics when it's a lot going on, so if you're interested in doing something with this with me hmu and we can work it out in the replies!

Canon: Final Fantasy 14 (MMO)
Info: Emet-Selch is the main antagonist of the Shadowbringers expansion. Known to most as an 'Ascian', he is considered a paragon amongst others of his kind, along with two others. His current guise, however, is that of the first emperor of the Garlean Empire - Solus zos Galvus. First impressions paint him as a grumpy, dour man who acts a lot older than he looks. But get to know him better and maybe you'll see that he cares more than he lets on.

Magics & Familiar: Alchemy / Death, Shadow Gwiber

Desired CR: Friends, enemies - anything goes, really. I just want to expand his circle of acquaintances.

Known Plans: Emet will be staying within Camelot for the most part. He might glance at the convention and observe people roleplaying (he likes theatre). He'll certainly be investigating the nude spa quest with some known associates, and because of the nature of that particular quest, he's HIGHLY UNLIKELY to venture in with a stranger. If you're interested in this regardless though, drop me a comment and we can work something out.

If someone would like to snap a picture of him doing good deeds as a knight on the other hand, they are more than welcome to post something up on his behalf on the network (just give me a heads up first to hash out minor details).

As for generic plans: Emet has agreed to help Hijikata with his ghost squad, and he's busy running his goldsmith/alchemy business. I plan to put up a log post shortly dealing with the aforementioned quests.
