Voltron: Legendary Defender App this, please!

Voltron is a wartime space drama featuring giant mecha robots, ancient magic powers, and the greatest weapon of all — found family. It's a wild ride full of action and adventure, interspersed with wacky alien hijinks and some truly great comedy. Also, yes, the rumors you've heard about the notoriously bad eighth season are true. But... it's okay! That's why we have RP. This can be our fix-it fanfic. We currently have Shiro, Pidge, and my own Princess Allura, which is already half the Paladins! So naturally we're looking for the remaining three boys — Keith, Lance, and Hunk! Other characters we would love to see include Coran, Matt, King Alfor (because Avalon needs ALL the royalty) — anyone you wanna bring would be welcomed with open arms!

As far as familiar, first and foremost have fun with it — they let me pick a shrunken-down Balmera even though those are normally planet-sized, so yeah feel free to go wild with it

Same with magic, they all have a lot of fun uses! The previous TDMs and most recent event log all have some examples of what you can do with each

hmmm... so I could go with a dragon from the comics? Because having a shoulder-sized one of those holding on to him like a little snake with its tail coiled gently around his neck for balance would be kind of adorable... and they come in different colors, so I could give him a red one.

(and it would be hilarious because he even says in issue one of that storyline that he wants one)
