There's more here she cares about than she does back home, and even if she'll miss Jay, she's tired of her life there, while Avalon offers her businesses, a good place to live, the ability to stay in one place. Even if she'll miss a lot of her friends when they return to their own words, she still has more in Avalon than she does at home.

Your characters have been a joy to have around here right from the start!! Now is probably a good time to admit that I felt a little intimidated from tagging Kate for the longest time (she seemed like such a cool lady...), but I enjoyed her interactions with Hijikata, and I'm happy he got to know Izumi as well! Seeing how differently your characters' arcs played out is really wonderful. ♡
