Albert Wesker | Resident Evil (films)

{ ARRIVAL }
Neither the fall nor the sudden plunge into the sea was surprising to Wesker; he had just barely avoided the explosion of his aircraft, having bailed out just in time to avoid being turned into a mess yet again by Alice. For him, it was simple inconvenience as he kicked toward the surface. At first, nothing was amiss. He coughed up a lungful of water and gasped once to replace it with air, keeping himself afloat as he gathered his bearings.

Then he became aware of splashing around him as more people met the same fate as he had. Strangers. A quick glance around revealed no ship and no wreckage, but a solid black dog with glowing red eyes and slit pupils that resembled what he was accustomed to seeing in the mirror every day. Upon seeing the animal Wesker was equal parts confused and ready for a fight, but the canine didn't attack. Instead, it nudged him toward shore - a gesture he really couldn't argue with.

Once on the beach, dripping from head to toe, he was able to get a better look at the animal that accompanied him. Shaggy, somewhat matted fur and a build that resembled an Irish Wolfhound. It easily could have stood on hind legs and placed its forepaws over his shoulders, but it merely sat by his side and looked up at him, as though it had been his faithful companion for years. Wesker raised an eyebrow and looked around at the others emerging from the water, each with a companion of their own.

"Well, this is certainly a... curious turn of events," he said to no one in particular. For a moment he wondered if he had died, but if there was an afterlife, he didn't expect it would be this strange.

Everything seemed to be intact. Even his sunglasses were still perched on his nose, but something felt... off, and he couldn't quite pinpoint it. That bothered him. Until he knew what was going on, he decided it was best to be agreeable with his equally lost looking companions. More flies with honey than vinegar, as they say.

{ CARAVANS }
The explanation given by Archimedes didn't sit well with Wesker. It all sounded like a bunch of nonsense, but for now, he would play along with it. The phone and earbuds were useful, at least. He quickly found that he could access the internet using the phone, and while it wasn't the same internet he was familiar with, it worked in the same way.

His question of what was wrong had somewhat been answered, but using the camera to get a good look at his eyes confirmed his suspicions. They were the same blue he remembered from what seemed like a lifetime ago. This place had somehow destroyed the T-Virus in the process of bringing him here. Wesker was human again.

All the more reason to learn as much as he could as quickly as possible. During the trip he spent his time researching on his phone, though now and then he made light conversation with those around him. It would pay to learn about them too.

{ FEAST }
Getting cleaned up was a first priority. As much as he prided himself on his appearance, remaining soaking wet and disheveled just wouldn't do. Once he was clean and dry, blond hair slicked back and black clothes in order, he joined everyone else to eat.

Once again, he was open to conversation with those around him as he filled a plate with grilled meat, steamed vegetables and rice and sat to have a real meal for the first time in what felt like weeks. With so much work to be done and his rather inconvenient need to consume human flesh, eating had become something done on the go. Though without the virus, at least one of those things would no longer be a problem.

During the meal he shared some meat with his canine companion, who remained steadfast by his side. Working with the creature was going to be important, so looking after it was a priority.

The entertainment was ignored entirely. There was too much on Wesker's mind to spare any thought on such nonsense.

{ THE HOLEY GRAIL - NETWORK }
Those of you who are familiar with hazing rituals are probably already skeptical of this "quest", but for those of you who aren't, I would strongly recommend spending this time getting to know your familiar and evaluating the changes in yourself. A wild goose chase may not be the best introduction to a new place or the unfamiliar circumstances associated with it.
