It's the 4th! That means that it's time now for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Character Name: Regis Lucis Caelum
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Info: Selfless, kind, and born to rule, Regis is everything one would expect a king to be. He stands tall among his peers in both stature and ideals. He's the kind of man who always looks towards the future rather than lament over the past. He believes wholeheartedly that a king always pushes onward while accepting the consequences of all their decisions. As a king, Regis is utterly fearless and stern but as a father, he's quite loving and fretful. He's greatly saddened by the ill fate that awaits his son, Noctis, and feels guilty for being powerless to help him. Regis believes in the strength of his royal bloodline but still fears for Noctis all the same. ( more info here

Magic & Familiar: Elemental Magic | Tonitrus the Fierce

Desired CR: It seems that since the tournament that Regis has made a few new friends but I'm always willing to have him make more! I'm also sort of looking for some spicy negative CR, especially since Regis's life in Camelot has been a little too peaceful as of late. It's time to shake things up a little.

I'm also interested in having Regis further cultivate the relationships he already has established. So, if anyone would like to meet up with him in-game, just let me know.

Regis will certainly be taking on a few more bounties this month while awaiting the construction of his little shop. He's pretty close to getting knighthood and I cannot wait!

Known Plans: Just recently Regis managed to save up enough coin to get a shopkeeper permit! That means he'll be opening a brand new bookstore/hobby enthusiast store in the center of Camelot. It will be an extensive bookstore with everything from nonfiction to fiction, to random fishing supplies and whatever else he can get his hands upon. He'll be making an announcement about his brand new shop soon, especially since he'll need a few employees.

Also, Regis and Cor are finally dating. That means he may need help finding a suitable Valentine’s gift for the Marshal. He won’t say who it’s for but he will be taking suggestions.

So I have no idea whether this would end up positive, negative or neutral and I'm not sure how he feels about her after the fight, but I'd be intrigued to see these two talk and see where things go?

Caster's father was a Magus, and she spectacularly burned bridges with him thanks to a Goddess twisting her heart - so I figure Regis might remind her of him somewhat, and that this could either go well or terribly. If nothing else, she'll want to check out the books when he opens his store, and congratulate him on his victory in the tourney.

Honestly, I think the two would get along just fine! Regis was a little wary of her because of her shadowy visage but I think he won't mind meeting with Caster outside of the tournament. I'm all for them meeting again, especially since Regis will be making a bookstore soon.

I was wondering if you wanted me to tag back to the tournament thread, especially since Regis would be concerned about hurting her during that fight.

Yes, Caster does herself absolutely no favours in terms of looking and acting really suspicious basically all the time.

But either way, neutral ground is good and I'm all for seeing how it goes! Caster threw her moral compass out to sea years ago, so I'm not sure Regis would be impressed if he knew some of what she's done/prepared to do, but likewise could be interesting to have some positive CR tooo.

And yeah if you're up for finishing things on the tournament thread, that'd be cool! I don't have a Plurk but I've got a Discord - otherwise here or PMs are good, whichever's easiest for you.

I really enjoyed our tournament thread!!

Hijikata is a bit grumpy and short-tempered, but he thinks that Regis is really respectable, both for his skill and for his conduct. Basically Regis' kind and kingly demeanour is a big hit with him, so if Regis needs a swordsman's / fire mage's assistance with anything Hijikata will be happy to help.
