Hey, Princess!
I've been looking at Avalon for a while, but the active muse in my head at present is Shiro - which I understand you have had in game. Matt-mun (who is my roommate) suggested that I hit up your ad. They've played for over a year with my Shiro before, and I'd be happy to provide links to things I've done with other players of paladins, Thace, or Matt.

I'd be most interested in bringing him in from a post-Synodiporia CRAU canon point (after being accepted into his clone, before returning to Earth + game au shenanigans), but I'm open to other options as well! I'd love to play with a cast of more than one other paladin.

(I tend to ignore the rest of the 7th and 8th season. Would have been nice if they'd made more after Season 7 episode 1!)

Yes, we did have a Shiro, but they ultimately didn't find the game to be a good fit. So I'm delighted to meet you, and that you're interested in picking him up!

CRAUs are totally fine, though I can't say I know much about Synodiporia itself. We've got some variety of canonpoints — end of season 6 seems to be popular for obvious reasons, while Allura's from the end of season 4 since it seemed kinda mean to give her alchemy just to take it away.

(I'm absolutely cool with treating season 8 as non-canon. Like... alternate realities are canon, so let's just say our characters are from a slightly different timeline...!)

I'm hopeful that we can get a whole team together! This game has quickly become one of my favorites I've ever played in, there's a lot of great players both from Voltron and from other canons!

It occurs to me... Would you guys as a cast like me to wait to app? So that your characters have time to react and deal with Shiro's disappearance (...at least they've had plenty of practice?) or would you rather I try to app in this round?

Also, what is the cast's opinion of Matt and Shiro being married? That was one of the last things that Shiro and Matt did in Syn. I know that canonically Shiro simply does not have time or brainspace to deal with the idea of romance and sexuality, but that is something that was able to happen in the prior game. If people are uncomfortable with it, I am totally fine with talking with Matt-mun and rolling it back - I'd like to make sure that everyone is comfy.

I don't have a personal preference, myself. Especially re: shipping, if you're both on board and having fun then that's what matters most to me. (And I really wouldn't have any place to talk, since I apped in with my own shipping plans.)

But I can ping the Pidge and Keith, just to see how they feel about it!

I'm cool with whatever. I usually play Keith and Shiro as pseudo-bros (though I can easily play Keith shipped with almost anyone in the show... lol), so, if you want to ship him with Matt, that's fine by me. :D

Keith'll just be disappointed he missed the wedding and couldn't embarrass Shiro as his best man.

Shiro missed Keith intensely, ngl. I also usually play Keith and Shiro as close friends/pseudo bros, so I am totally up for that.

Quick question - are you okay with me apping in this round, or should I wait till the next app round so Keith can process Shiro vanishing before he comes back as a different heckin Shiro?

I'm good with, either, honestly. We all know Keith gets into trouble if he has too much time to think about things like Shiro going missing, but I can easily roll with either option.

This might be a good argument to pitch some other ideas for living arrangements, once Team Voltron is out of the hotel.

Like obviously the cast has to stick together, but maybe we should find something with a little more breathing room. Condos? A group of houses that have a big common area lawn in the middle? Start our own HOA? I don't know.
