what facets of Avalon would Claude want in Fodlan and why?

WHERE TO START... This is something he's already put a lot of thought into, but from what he's learned and studied so far:

- Improved state relations through education and integration! Fae and humans have learned to coexist despite their differences for centuries. Foldan is basically the opposite.

- More reverence for nature. In Avalon, living in tune with nature is just part of daily life, but in Fodlan everyone thinks the goddess is responsible for whatever nature gives them. yall out of touch af :/

- Technology. Avalon has a lot of higher tech that Fodlan could have had, but the Church intentionally suppressed to keep its grip on believers. GIVE US YE OLDES GROUP CHATS AND CAT GIFS

- Changing Fodlan nobility, knighthood etc. to a meritocracy, so titles are granted based on good deeds and not the circumstances a person is born into.

Is there a dessert Claude WOULD like?

Only if it's sour or bitter! So anything with citrus-y tastes is fine, for example, and stuff like dark chocolate.

What made him settle on "Claude" as his Fodlan name?

He says in the DLC that it's common enough as a name to pass easily as a fake name. Aside from that, it sounds close enough to his real name, and there's a Claudia in the Riegan family tree, so that's probably how he figured it would sound believable.

Incidentally, Claudia von Riegan was someone who chose to marry for love instead of for a crest and the usual Fodlan nonsense, so I like to think that he thought it was similar to his mother's own decisions, and chose it as a sneaky little way to honour her without outing either of them.
