No, seriously, Makoto will take anything and everything from her friends or hypothetical boyfriend, she's VERY affectionate. She's also very affectionate herself, mostly showing her affection in physical contact (tons of hugs and head pats) or acts of service like cooking for someone or protecting them from harm.

Does Makoto have a favourite animal?

Not in canon, but there's a reason I chose a bear for Kaede's form (raiju are apparently described as looking like LOTS of animals, but most commonly as dogs or wolves). She probably really admires bears for their strength and protectiveness. She can definitely relate.

How easy is it to befriend Makoto?

Extremely easy; heck, she's one of the most trusting of the senshi, almost to a fault. Just don't be ridiculously shady, or an asshole to others, especially not to her friends (or waitstaff, do you know how hard food service is?), and she'll be quick to call you a friend.
