Has Rei ever been manipulated by someone? Was he a rebellious teen in his youth? What other profession would he have pursued if not a producer?

1.WAHOO putting aside his entanglement in canon with the Prime Minister in which both of them try to out-manipulate the other......... i want to believe rei got swindled by some smooth-talker as a youth and went "oh my god... fuck yeah. I can do that" (and then burnt the original manipulator to the ground of course)

2.Oh definitely. All three of Rei's kids are/were little bastards in their own way, and that had to come from somewhere. LMFAO!!!!! I think Rei was the kind of rebellious that smugly backtalked authority because he knew their options to officially punish him were limited. He was the bane of his poor highschool teachers' existence. Asshole

3. HMMM if Rei didn't have his audio-leaning stint, he probably would have become a straight-up techbro. For all his shittiness Rei ultimately tried to make the world less lethal via ~nondeadly musical weaponry~, so I think he would continue to do so with technology even without his rap leanings (lmao)

Wow, I can imagine Rei being swindled as a youth, and it just sets the tone for the rest of his life. It probably didn't help that he was a terror in his youth, and practiced to see how far he can push people's buttons.

And it's interesting to think, he would actually assist in making his world just a little bit better with his technology. What a shame, but who doesn't want deadly rhymes?
