The manga definitely Gets Weird with characterization sometimes. Even the Destroyers are awkward at points.

...The whole "schoolgirl uniform and cherry blossoms" thing feels pretty on point for some of Chris's parts though, shit. You're right.

Yeah, I thought it was weird how they switch around Chris' promotion to leader of the Knights to happening before the peace treaty collapses (which seems to consist of just Chris and Lucia going "So we cool now?" at each other. And then they're not).

Haha, right? There are certainly elements to the manga I find useful and wanna incorporate into her story here (like squiring for Galahad for one thing), but I'm more than happy to say she didn't nearly collapse into a weeping pile that needed Salome to snap her out of it in the middle of a battlefield. XD
