But by the same token, he refused to narrow it down the more obvious "Oda lands, and forced lord over all the allies and those forced to submit," and narrowing it down even further to Owari was outdated for him, and Azuchi Castle was just bizarre. So a vague sort of all-encompassing "Japan," it is. Besides, it's never been said he was without too much arrogant ego.]
