[ Could today possibly get any worse? No. No, it could not.
For one, Merisia can't swim. That makes the whole "suddenly finding yourself submerged in a lake" thing kind of problematic. If she's thankful for the assistance in getting her ashore, she's not showing it, either because she's too grumpy about being soaked in the first place or because she's too busy coughing and sputtering. Her Carbuncle, meanwhile, didn't seem to have any issues with the water whatsoever, calmly shaking off once they were on dry land.
...odd. She didn't have Carbuncle summoned before she suddenly found herself submerged in that mystery lake. At least, she's pretty sure she didn't. ]
Damn it all, I've had enough mysteries for one day.

[ One might think that someone as grumpy and prickly as Merisia wouldn't be a big fan of large gatherings. And they'd be right. They might also assume that she's not really one to like being in the spotlight. And they'd be right. They might also assume she wouldn't enjoy something like dancing. That's where they'd be wrong.
Merisia stretches her arms out, glancing over at her dance partner with a smirk on her face. ]

[ Merisia already isn't a fan of the forest. She never liked Gridania, she never liked the Black Shroud (although the Sylph were fine; Merisia enjoys a bit of mischief herself from time to time), and if anyone ever suggested she take up gardening she'd offer them some very unflattering remarks in return. And unfortunately for her, it seems her doppelganger is already running amok, and she has yet to develop the skills to defend herself in this world. Luckily, she's faster than she looks, and you might notice a greyish blur darting down a road and swiftly hiding in the nearest alley. If you make eye contact, she'll quickly motion for you to shut up before she warily casts her attention back to the road. She's in the clear for now, but who knows how long it'll stay that way.... ]

[ Whatever else she had to say is cut off by her slipping and falling into a shallower part of the hot springs with a yelp. She's able to climb back out, luckily; but she's...well, she's no longer in any shape to relocate any bees. She could use some help, be it to help return her to her original size or to complete the task at hand. Preferably both, but if she had to pick one she'd settle for the former. Just get her out of this mess already. ]
