[The force does snap a few of the weaker vines around him and some of the ones suspending him, but they are either replaced or happen to loop back to wrap around them instead of falling away completely. Not only that, but the force of the impact has now sent them precariously swinging in the air.
So now they are stuck together in a position that's probably worse than before. And he is just staring down at her with cold, narrowed eyes.
