[Soundwave is standing at the shore, arms crossed, as he watches people swim or help get back to shore. It's become routine for him to come up at the beach now, even though he pretty much stopped hoping to see familiar faces come out of the water. The least he can do is help out the newcomers arriving here.
People normally fall down into the water, so it didn't even occur to him that someone might be gliding down towards him at all, until he heard-
"Watch out!"
He peers up, raising a metaphorical brow. Between a fleshy organic and a 7 foot tall mech, it's frankly impossible to topple Soundwave down or hurt him when she collided into him, but at least he's able to catch her in his arms at moment contact. When he speaks, it's robotic and electronic in quality, definitely not human in every way.]
