Possibly! I haven't heard of such things being native to NorthEastern Europe, but that doesn't mean they aren't. Or other animals take advantage of the situation, and maybe the plants and animals work together. [Because POOP.]
But I haven't seen bones either, so they certainly can't stay tied up very long.
Unfortunately, Haguro isn't much use here. It's too dense for my falcon to find many clues for us. And Kimon, my oni familiar, hasn't been munching on any bones. I asked. [Literally Oda's first though ngl.]
