App's the bookworm. I do read, sure, but it's all academic. I don't really do the whole swashbuckler adventures like some people or anything.

If you're referring to that business with the ball, I assure you that was entirely coincidental. Lightfellow Hall's library is well-stocked but it contains no swashbuckler stories.

[Which is technically true, the very well-read and complete swashbuckler stories are kept on a shelf in the master bedroom, not the library. Sorry "Hitman Bravo", but Erk de Forever has nothing on Scholtenheim Reinbach III, this is the hill Chris will die on, immortality be damned.]

That thing? Not a clue but since it's terrible, my guess would be from somewhere in Harmonia.

It's not the trend in Crystal Valley. Maybe he's trying to start one. Start unnecessary wars, wear unnecessarily large collars.

Maybe. Admittedly, long coats are something that runs in the family but his is overkill for sure.

Well, I'm glad to hear it isn't an affectation he's nursed from childhood. [ Some people wear the same thing for fifteen years, it's really weird. ]

Anyway, there's a nearly hesitant pause before he answers with, ]

It's not just him, though. [ Nash continues as though he didn't notice the pause. ] Here, the Silverberg name can mean whatever you want it to.

[ Or nothing at all. Which can be both better and worse. ]

Most of them are but I guess the one where everything came from ideas stored in crystals was one of the more curious ones.

I don't actually know how it worked but the tall guy made it sound like you just petitioned this architect bureau place for an approved... anything, really. Furniture, animals, probably even a horrible flying ship like that one you dreamt about.
