Hah, I wish. He's kind of a dick. So I'm just calling him The Dog until he bothers to give me a name he'd actually like.

[And off to the side, The Dog barks, in approval or mischief or both who can say?]

He still hasn't given you one. Well, if he's not protesting at being called The Dog, he probably doesn't mind it. At least, that'd be my assumption. Still, if you get him around a bunch of other dogs, it might be hard to get his attention if you start calling 'Dog!' out.

I mean, then they're all just going to come running.
