I agree. We've had plenty of time to settle in and figure out our respective magic and how best to incorporate it into our fighting styles, after all.

What sort of magic did you end up with, if it's all right to ask?

I don't mind. Dark, and— Blood. What about you?

Kinetic and Blood.

I thought the latter would be a lot more... amenable than it's been. I also learned the limits of how much blood needs to remain inside of my body quite quickly.

I've been cautious in my own experimenting with it, but we would both certainly benefit from trying to learn to manage it together.

I think that's an excellent idea, and your conservativism is the right decision. I'm told it has combat advantages, but I've yet to actually figure any of them out.

I would certainly feel much better working on it with a partner, though.
