['Keep it in your memory,' hmm. Most of that means little to him without context, but he'll at least remember 'Megumi' well enough.]

Indeed we do— though most are wont to call themselves 'hunters.' Then you've your pirates of both sea and sky. I'm among the latter. We have bounty hunters, as well, but they're a class all their own.

[ It's pretty straightforward, but given the chance, she'll elaborate one day. Still, her ears perk up in interest. ]

Hunter, is it? Know me some pirates of the sky and sea myself. Though where I lived, the ones of the sea called themselves Confederates- but there's plenty of the jolly crews you hear of around Limsa Lominsa in Eorzea- even if piracy's been outlawed there. Sky Pirates on the other hand...

[ Her ears wiggle, and she claps her hands together. ]

I know there's plenty of those about, in an area called The Sea of Clouds. I tell tales of them to mine own children, I do! ...even made the acquaintance of one when she sprained her ankle. [ She beams. ]

And you ought to come to me too, if you've a sprain or hurts of any sort! I'm one of the best traveling healers about, you know! Even here, without the magic I had! How about you tell me about a recent adventure you've had then, Ser Sky Pirate?

It would be far too long in the telling for the present— perhaps another time, though there are certainly many to choose from. I was on my way to steal back my ship before I found myself here.

[Also a long story.]

Quite rude of them not to let me bring it along, on that note. A pirate without a sky is a travesty.

Sounds like an adventure. And something you ought to share! I want to know all about why your ship needed to be stolen back! Does it have a name, too? All good ships have the best names! They're supposed to be as memorable as their captains!

[ She's beaming now. ]

A lot of good having a ship will do here, though, but I still want to see one! I miss seeing airships about and I never thought I'd even think about a time without them!

The Strahl.

[A brief, succinct answer that only addresses a small part of what she wants to know, but easy enough to share.]

Airships are common in Eorzea too, then? I imagine I'd find use for one here regardless, were one made available to me— I am not easily deterred.

[ If there are details to give, they'll be given, and it's nothing she needs to press on. That's just her way. She does note he likes diverting the subject onto her, but she's also not surprised or put off. They're strangers after all, for now. ]

That sounds like a strong name. And aye, they are. Bit pricey at times, but they get the job done. My brother does repairs on them at times! He's an engineer!

Did you have a big crew back in your world, too?

[Even in a world that isn't his own, it's second nature to dodge questions that might reveal more of himself than he's prepared for— old habits die hard, especially when there are frequently bounty hunters after your head.]

Ah, I see— so you're not at all unfamiliar with them.

[Though he doubts that any are as sleek as the Strahl, pride aside.]

We run a small operation. I have a partner, and a team of moogles who act as crew— engineering geniuses in their own right.
