I'm not familiar with his canon at all, only with my vague knowledge of Sengoku era history from the dredges of memory when i was a Japanese history nerd as a teen lol, so this has been super fun for me revisiting that interest again vicariously through threading with Nobunaga!
I can tell how much you love this character and how invested you are in capturing his complex energy, and receiving such long thoughtful tags from you was so touching!! Zuko is fascinated by him and they have so much to discuss about their worlds, about war, philosophy, plus whatever dumb shit comes up lol... Cuz Zuko's picked up some dumb shit interests too. They can marvel at the modern world together hahaha. I feel like they have a weird and endearing, unexpectedly kindred dynamic that's sleeping and I can already tell it's gonna blossom into some significant CR, hehehe, Zuko needs a confidant about being a prince! And a fucking adult in his life apart from Iroh, god, lol. Nobunaga can be like the new cool silly young uncle instead HAHA. Very much looking forward to this relationship's development~
