I love how passionate you are about Gokudera's characterization and depth, you really bring this character to life with such nuance and variety, and I feel like that level of realism and obvious emotional investment is #goals to most rp-ers? at least to me!! I don't know KHR but I feel very much hand-in-hand with Zuko learning about it through Gokudera IC like one might get to know anyone irl, y'know? I love being able to tell where there is that bond between player and character, whether it's in a show where I can tell which character was the writer's/actor's favorite they just took extra relish in creating, or in rp where someone's made such a connection like you obviously have felt for Gokudera for years! Erin once put it as "soulbonded" (in reference to her own self and Azula) and I love that, it strengthens the gumption behind your tags in this way that's so compelling and demands my attention back as a writer (which is why I stall our tags sometimes gihrsufk) and I love the energy we create in our dynamic together feeding off that in each other, cuz I'm very much like that myself with my own two. I love your writing style, there's something very crisp and engaging about your voice as a writer and it's been so gratifying playing against you all this time! Plus you're awesome ooc and we have so much fun on plurk and all that but wow so much fun with you from the very start. More! More!!!

And that comment too is in particular meaningful, about doing mundane things, cuz i think a motivating force behind me as an rp-er is relishing in making the mundane magical and being able to write a compelling scene about a grumpy teenage prince eating sushi and birthday cake and talking about baseball with his mafia hitmen friends is like. magical mundanity at its finest lmao. I worry sometimes I'm like stripping him of his shounen heroism too much but I just really enjoy this like realistic human element in rp, idky.

I think you have a really good balance between descriptors and dialogue, so you aren’t stripping anything. Your writing gives so much insight on how Zuko feels about everything, and the dialogue does not get lost. That’s something I think I could work on, personally. I’ve had so many threads in the past just be so focused on the prose and the characters say like... one word each that the whole conversation gets lost. Our threads? No problem. It’s a very very very good balancing act.

Dndifksihdienfiec Cain better be okay and come back soon cause I owe him so much love. AND there should be a cheering-Gokudera-up party since Tsuna’s on the network asking how to cheer him up.

i try to put a lot of attention to how a conversation might realistically flow and it's hard sometimes, i get tripped up about it and need to tell myself "it's not a 'real conversation' lol, it's okay, it's rp" haha, so i'm glad it's coming off as natural as i try to make it! i think that cadence was something i struggled with in the beginning, being too wordy a chronic tendency lol so i've gotten more comfortable with his voice parsing it down i think.

tsuna's asking how to cheer gokudera up on the network? where??

Your Gokudera is such a delight and, as I said in my other comment, I love him and Tsuna and their shenanigans. Whether it's serious talks or trying to solve things with magic or both, they are so much fun!
