We all like hearing about each other's characters! We all like talking about our own characters! With this groundbreaking new meme, now you can finally do both, for the very first time in DWRP history!

The Guidelines:

Possibly, they just might! Depends on how things go between the two of them.

And Chara's dislike of knights stems from knowing Undyne, since if you know of both her fights (Pacifist and Genocide) she's a complete pain in the ass to fight. So the hate towards being beat by her a few times has led to just a general dislike of all knightly types.

As for Chara trusting people? Who knows, it'll take a lot for them to trust anyone human that's for sure.

What do you think created Charas issues in trusting others? What started the roll?

Now this, this is getting into headcanon since we know nothing about Chara's life before they fell into the Underground. I like to pin it on possible things that happened with their family, since as a child you basically trust your parents on everything. And not like something like "Santa isn't real" or anything like that, it had to be something big.

As to what, I haven't really pinned it down for my take on Chara. Just that to them it's something big.

I have a question for you, what about Gawain attracted you to his character?

YOUR RIGHT and I love the headcanon. I mean we knew they 'fell' and we know that... Children who go into that forest? Either runaway or do it go away from everything. so its very likely your head canon checks out really well!!

OH! I originally wanted to write him because I wanted to write.... A evil Knight? Or an asshole knight? ( Which now I KNOW I was looking for Sir Kay to write at the time ) Then I learned Gawain in actuality is anything but that, and that he is multilayered. And runs very deep despite coming off as a character that doesnt run very deep.

What drew me finally into his character, was the absolute love, devotion, and unique narrative care Nasu gives Gawain. That you dont get to see unless you like... Absorb every canon there is out there of him. Which is hard because there is a lot... Extra, extra/ccc, extella, extella link, the anime, the singularities, fate go, the manga x2, like theres a lot to read and take in. The only time i saw him sort of ooc is foxtail manga. But its more like they play up the 'hes a joke.'

And even that is... Very hilariously historically canon to who Gawain is as a character.

Basically Nasu's devotion to writing him, is what drew me in. Then when you read about him historically, and you see the depiction Nasu writes for him. Like I FELL IN LOVE HARD for his narrative.

Basically, loyal man who knows he did wrong( let his emotions get the best of him: Lancelot & his revenge. Didnt understand King Arthurs feelings. ), knows what he is doing (Gilgamesh calls him out, gawain never affirms nor denies. Leo calls him out, Gawain only affirms but also doesnt bare more of his own truth toward leo. Basically showing Gawain knew what was going on from the start. ). Does as much. Even if it is wrong ( See extra & camelot singularity ). But you can always COUNT on him never straying from what he obviously is - because this MEANS EVERYTHING to him. In this way he mirrors gilgamesh in a way - where Gilgamesh is definied by who he is because he is Gilgamesh. He choses that, he knows who he is, he is beyond fate. Gawain in that way is the same... But like a Loyal Knight. He knows what he is, he knows the flaws in being as loyal as he is, and he knows the cost of his actions. What they can do, what it means (see singularity gawain in camelot, and what he tells Ritsuo in both of their meetings. )

I think its hard to hate someone who knows who they are, and knows when they do wrong. I think there is this romanticism in Knighthood - if Arturia is the IDEAL KING. Then Nasu wrote Gawain to be the IDEAL KNIGHT.

Despite that Percival, Gareth, & Galahad exist. They are different themes.

Gawain is more... The picturesque what we expect to read in a book when we want a Knight and he owns up to that. All of its flaws too - Nasu did fucking disgusting amazing job writing him.

What are some issues you struggle with writing Bakugou? Do you feel he's developed any here in avalon?

HOW FREE DOES XIAO FEEL NO LONGER HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT KARMA???? IS HE OKAY??? Does it bother him that he can no longer fulfill his job here in avalon? What are his thoughts on all of this?

Hrm... With Bakugou? For a long time I wondered if I was making him too soft and personable? I know in rp you have to flex and bend a little, but I thought that maybe I was doing that a little too much and not making him aggressive/rude enough.

Ironically, he's developed here kind of the same way that he has in actual recent chapters. Some of the threads I've had with him almost mirror some of the things that have happened in the most recent releases. So I usually just have to remind myself that he is a character that is growing into a more personable guy and run with it. IDK IF THAT ANSWERS THE QUESTION BUT!



As for XIAO? Omg. He struggles a lot actually? He goes back and forth between being okay with things like this and then not being okay. Since he's a character that relies on his duty ( because that gives him a focus on atonement but he'll not say that to anyone other than the Archons ) not having it is super confusing for him. The concept of being able to actually indulge in the few wishes/desires he has is something that he's still working on. But I love to give him that development - allowing him to eventually forgive himself for a past he had no control over and actually MAKING choices of his own free will.

IT DOES! The writer contends to writing characters changing, and being - not redeemable in a sense. I hate the meaning of that word and what context it can bring, but rather t hat it shows u characters are multifacet. Can develop and be beyond their original expectations, so its really cool to see that ultimately yo uwere following the heart of bakugao in og bna!!! have not read the manga in forever. but i have a habit of waiting for 100 chapters and then binging. which honestly i should do.

This is so swet im HAPPY THEN< xxiao deserves some fform of peace. its cool that he can get that oppertunity here, and find some individualism in the process

Nothing but work’s been a little hectic this week…

I apped Naomi cuz I need someone to counter Zidane’s extroverted personality. Playing counter characters helps when playing multiple folks for me. Also I love her and she’s a doctor which we laaack.

Zidane’s doing good in Avalon! He’d really like to know more about his magic, but that’s it for individual stuff. Main goal remains heading home after saving all the worlds.

YOU RIGHT we do lack a doctor, I was so surprised to see a character from that game so I was curious!!! Is she healing magic? Are you planning to tie her doctor stuff to how she uses her magic?

He has no interest in this world then or discovering stuff on it?

Yup! She's healing and death magic for canon reasons haha! And yup, she already does. She performed a debridement on Tokoyami because he had a third-degree and she wasn't confident in her healing magic taking care of the damaged skin AND restoring everything.

It's not that Zidane isn't interested, but he's more interested in the people from other worlds and figuring out enough to go back. He just helped save his world and now it's in danger again and everyone he knows is there so he's kinda... yeah, playing off everything's fine (but it's noooot).

She'll also refrain from using her healing magic if it feels in low supply and perform any medical care by hand as needed. Then, once she rests up, she'll finishing providing aid. And since surgery wasn't specialized in Second Opinion, she's good for pretty much any operation needed. Been a while, but hey, just need to remember the patients are alive now... hahaha.
