Adrian "Alucard" Țepeș Castlevania (Netflix) Enable me, please!

Alucard is a brooding dhampir descended from the vampire lord of legend, Dracula, and a human doctor, Lisa; schooled in the arcane and supernatural, he’s an intelligent, elegant, and mysterious…tall emo teenager cusping adulthood who’s dealt with Way Too Much in the span of under two years. naturally, kidnapping him to a foreign magic world would be ideal! especially considering his experience with magic, science, and the supernatural, he should adapt well for how alarming it would be to blip into Avalon's existence. would be taking him from the end of season 3 for maximum pain. undecided on familiar (a grimm feels so fitting for s3 him...but i am considering a less-evil-spin on the balaur for him too.) but kinetic magic is likely to happen! once he’s done angrily sulking about being thrown into this place, of course.

Bruno Bucciarati Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Enable me, please!

Bruno is the captain of a section of the Italian mafia, overseer of entertainment and import industries in Naples, and head of his own bodyguard team, which he also performs work within. Bruno is serious and determined toward his duty serving the people that need of him, but also compassionate and dedicated, and virtuous at heart. the side you meet depends on you and the circumstances; he can be brutal and ruthless if you’re seen as a threat, or he can be protective and stabilizing if you’re in need. more uncertain about apping him, but i adore crosscanon with people canon familiar or not, so please let me know if he seems like someone you might be interested in interacting with! haven’t decided on a familiar (but i feel like it has to be something seen in Roman myth, maybe caladrius or pegasus?) but considering light or kinetic magic for him. might be taking him from post-canon (won’t mention it in detail to avoid spoilers.) i loveee cross-canon and canon unfamiliar people to organically discover with, just as much as i love anything else with familiarity. i have plenty of standard cr tropes that i love (fire-forged friendships, found family, hurt/comfort, odd couple, friends that bicker, mentor/apprentice dynamic, serious and sweet) if anyone else enjoys dynamics like them! talk to me if you'd like to see one or both of these faces here! and tell me something you like about the game. (also insight on settling a familiar??)

WELL I have the biggest bias obviously and would love for Bruno, but honestly I'm also a big Castlevania fan so Alucard would also be immensely welcomed!

haha yes i've seen you plurk about castlevania!! and you play him at prisma, right? IM KINDA NERVOUS since i just began dabbling in his voice, but i made the account back in the summer once i finally watched this and seriously would have been writing Alucard from that moment on...if i hadn't dove head first into jojo's two entire minutes after finishing s3. the rest has been a blur of jojo poses and crying.

i'll possibly app both and more importantly, definitely test both out when the tdm goes up! i feel like Abba and Bruno meeting back up would probably be uh...p...retty emotional... is your Abba CRAU or right from canon?

I'm only familiar with Bruno but I am curious to see how he would interact with a 13 year old boy who is too serious for his own good.

And dealing with trauma and dead parents. All the good stuff.

A grimm really does sound fitting for Alucard. I like the idea of the Balaur too though. And just think of all the fun he could have studying the magic here in Avalon once he was done being grumpy!

right!! Grimm as a guardian is very fitting for Alucard, but i can easily spin the Balaur away from its evil interpretation, who also comes with the benefit details of 1. grows a head for each year spent in isolation (i think of the year he spent sleeping in his coffin,) and 2. the occasional myth that the Balaur guards a hoard, and isn't that what Alucard stayed to do with the castle and Belmont keep... i might have to flip a coin.

honestly the more i think about magic the more i'm leaning toward alchemy for Alucard, instead...kinetic is very him, but something new could be fun. orz this game gives so many fun options!

MAMMA MIA that's such a cute idea of them having familiar...familiars ajdhgakdf i was really struck by the concept of caladrius absorbing illness and flying away with it as being similar to Bruno's want and drive to pull corruption out of the organization; as well as caladrius looking toward people who will live, and away from people who will die, made me think of his turning away from the boss and toward Giorno... my heart hurts. it's very likely to be that familiar for him, the more i think about it!!

i haven't touched the AA games in Y E A R S but i loved it while i played it and my god they might get along almost too well... after hanging out with trevor in his life, someone with manners would be refreshing (jesus why do we have so many people with severe parent death trauma...are we going to start a support group in avalon or something)

I will say that if you apply with Alucard and he uses that name there will be a VERY HIGH probability that you will have a very annoyed butler showing up in some form wanting to toss him into the lake... only to be very confused immediately after because, well, wrong Alucard.

This possibility only being mitigated if he sees him first, to which end he will leap straight to the confused part.
