It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Character Name: Yuber
Canon: Suikoden: Missteps, Peccadilloes, Bad Calls, Backroom Hijinx, Sordid Pasts, Rotten Breaks, and Just Plain Dumb Mistakes in the Annals of Harmonian Politics
Info: a bloodthirsty, chaosmongering war devil whose primary motivations are, in no particular order:

1. Chaos
2. Chaos
3. Is this person useful in helping him spread chaos?
4. Raging against the ordering forces of the cosmos for sentencing him to an existence of pain and suffering.
5. Chaos

It isn't so much that he hates peace and quiet as it is that peace and quiet make him feel like he's going to die.

He tends to present himself as a cold, aloof and soft spoken man but it doesn't take much interaction to learn he has emotions. A lot of them, in fact. All of them even and as a being of chaos he experiences his emotions at 300% intensity. He's not at all likely to get sad and cry in front of you but he is likely to get sad, get confused over the fact that he's sad, get angry over the fact that he's confused and then stab you all in the span of 0.5 seconds. Yeah, he's one of those.

He's not evil, his lust for chaos is more of a primal need so he's like a wild animal. He is cruel, however. He is extremely, unrelentingly cruel.
Magic & Familiar: Kinetic (Primary), Death Magic (Secondary), familiar is a bone dragon. A smaller version of the type of dracolich his old servant was.
Desired CR: ANYTHING. Really, I need to get some momentum going with this guy. He's been hard to play in the setting lately and I need to do something to anchor him into things a bit better. For obvious reasons he's bound to be a force of negative CR for most people.

It is possible to get neutral to positive CR with him. He is actually very motivated to save Avalon and resolve this whole Excalibur problem since dead universes and/or universes with stopped time are not chaos friendly. He is willing to work with others towards this greater goal, especially if they are willing to put up with his tendency to kill people. He doesn't think of himself as evil, he thinks of himself as chaos, so people with complex, weird or non-human centric views of morality will get his respect more easily. Beings such as gods, spirits, demons, etc who lost a lot of power coming to Avalon will intrigue him since they might be going through some of the same things he is.

So how would Yuber feel about violence against a dragon?

He fought the dragon already once and lost so he'd be very interested in stabbing it again.

Sounds like our two agree on something because Hawk very much wants to stab it and kill it this time. Sounds like we just need a third now.

I'd be good with it if Psi is. Could run with something like Hawk contacts Yuber and they run into Takkar somewhere along the way and he joins them? Hawk's cool with about anyone who can fight and wants to kill the dragon joining up.

This all sounds good to me! Yuber is happy to team up with anyone as long as they don't get between his swords and the dragon.

I'm perfectly fine with that setup, Takkar is pretty much just chilling and would be interested in hunting down a large lizard (coming from a time when megafauna were still kind of a thing-ish). Anyway, yeah he's unlikely to get in their way and more likely to be useful in tracking it down and being their ranged fighter.

Sounds like a plan and like we've got a good balance as well. I'll get a catch all up today with a starter for dragon hunting and I'm okay with handling commenting to the quest post so we're included in the RNG for this.
