Info: a bloodthirsty, chaosmongering war devil whose primary motivations are, in no particular order:

1. Chaos
2. Chaos
3. Is this person useful in helping him spread chaos?
4. Raging against the ordering forces of the cosmos for sentencing him to an existence of pain and suffering.
5. Chaos

It isn't so much that he hates peace and quiet as it is that peace and quiet make him feel like he's going to die.

He tends to present himself as a cold, aloof and soft spoken man but it doesn't take much interaction to learn he has emotions. A lot of them, in fact. All of them even and as a being of chaos he experiences his emotions at 300% intensity. He's not at all likely to get sad and cry in front of you but he is likely to get sad, get confused over the fact that he's sad, get angry over the fact that he's confused and then stab you all in the span of 0.5 seconds. Yeah, he's one of those.

He's not evil, his lust for chaos is more of a primal need so he's like a wild animal. He is cruel, however. He is extremely, unrelentingly cruel.
Magic & Familiar: Kinetic (Primary), Death Magic (Secondary), familiar is a bone dragon. A smaller version of the type of dracolich his old servant was.
Desired CR: ANYTHING. Really, I need to get some momentum going with this guy. He's been hard to play in the setting lately and I need to do something to anchor him into things a bit better. For obvious reasons he's bound to be a force of negative CR for most people.

It is possible to get neutral to positive CR with him. He is actually very motivated to save Avalon and resolve this whole Excalibur problem since dead universes and/or universes with stopped time are not chaos friendly. He is willing to work with others towards this greater goal, especially if they are willing to put up with his tendency to kill people. He doesn't think of himself as evil, he thinks of himself as chaos, so people with complex, weird or non-human centric views of morality will get his respect more easily. Beings such as gods, spirits, demons, etc who lost a lot of power coming to Avalon will intrigue him since they might be going through some of the same things he is.

Canon: Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
Info: Hawk's a very fight happy sort of character who enjoys fighting and drinking. He's got a bit of an attitude problem, a foul mouth and a tendency towards blunt honesty. At times his honesty leads to some hilarious moments. He also runs a shop that sells materials used for potions and crafting and does quests from time to time.
Magics & Familiar: Elemental/Kinetic and a Hawk Spirit
Desired CR: Anything except romance because he's taken. Drinking buddies and people to fight with are welcome. If a character needs a job and doesn't object to a weird boss who is almost never around we can work something out for your character to be employed in his shop.
Known Plans:

-Hawk definitely would love to go after the dragon with intents towards violence. He's going to join up with Yuber to try and kill himself a dragon and they could use a third person. I'd be cool with writing the starter for this.
-He'd be up for going to the Forest of the Felled and helping out with the various traps and monsters there.
-He'd also be up for helping with guarding the Butterflying Lettuce from poachers.

Info: Hapless angsty man with magic, PTSD & depression, and bad luck, a walking trouble magnet, has the people saving thing and chronic hero syndrome, he is genuinely kind and loyal unless you dare to tick him off. Also, a nosy little sneak.
Magic & Familiar: Kinetic (Primary) & Elemental (Secondary), Rose the pink Pygmy Puff
Desired CR: Friends, Parent figures, Frenemies! People who would try to stop him from being a reckless idiot. I'm cool with romance as long as it doesn't involve huge age gaps. He will also defend kids and teens like a big brother.
Known Plans: At the moment, Harry is considering to do the dragon quest but he wants to warn the dragon that people are coming after him thanks to his big chaotic disaster in the Fall Equinox, but feel free to convince him otherwise. All volunteers (2 minimum) are accepted. I might make him a knight between this month and early January, though it is not yet finalized.

Besides from that, he will do the Alms for the Gore quest, the Forest of the Felled clean up (especially with the Basilisk and Cloud Nine prompts), and the Floor is Lava, will suffer more magical chaos in magical flu season, and will unlock water magic around this month. Also helping his Celliwigan roommate out and working in Helleste Cafe as usual.

Other: Harry probably doesn’t want to remember his drama-filled 5th Year.

Info: Sort of an apathetic man struggling with identity crisis. He's on the path to become an Unseelie so he wouldn't remind himself of who he used to be. A good guy, really, if you get past his tendency to troll and be the spoilsport of the party.
Magics & Familiar: Cognitive & Elemental / Unnamed Phoenix

Desired CR: Honestly, Archer is the character I welcome all kinda of CR with. Negative CR is actually fun with him since he's pretty nonchalant.
Known Plans: Continuing to work with Fortune Panda, the restaurant he and Rin own, continuing to struggle against the idendity crisis and doing some dark web tasks... Also helping with the sleep paralysis demon stuff since he's primarily a cognitive mage.

Jean Kirstein

Info: A teenager from a world full of giant humanoid looking, human-eating monsters called titans who has little knowledge on how to be an actual teenager. He gets easily into fights and usually his way of dealing with things is to punch through his problems. Fortunately he's getting better about it.
Magics & Familiar: Animal & Healing / Mythological Lynx named Rafael

Desired CR: Mostly normal, casual teenager frienships, maybe mentorships. I don't mind negative CR, but I would rather have him develop positive ones. Some bickering/fighting/arguing is always cool though. Most of his frienships in canon are like that.
Known Plans: He's likely going to be switching jobs from being a blacksmith apprentice to helping out Kadoc at the animal shelter (he never intended to become a fulltime blacksmith, he just wanted to make some weapons for himself and Mikasa). Other than that, he has gotten the Magical Flu and keeps sneezing various animal ears on his head and occasionally wings on his back. Also interested in some quests and planning on making an open log for them.

Canon: Sailor Moon

Info: Former Crown Prince of Earth Kingdom, future King of Crystal Tokyo. Mamoru is the love interest and fiance of Usagi, the main heroine of the series. He's there to always support her and the others... whenever he's not being kidnapped, brainwashed or something else that turns him a liability. He has a good head on his shoulders and he wishes to become a doctor in the future.
Magics & Familiar: Light & Green / Unnamed Skvader

Desired CR: Mainly positive CR, especially other doctor/s or healers (even if he's not a healer). Negative CR is also okay, but not on my top wishlist.
Known Plans: Most likely he's gonna try and help with the magical flus while working on the garden at the Magical Girl-ish house, as well as continuing to study medicine. His life is pretty calm, so maybe I will think of something more exciting for him in the future.
Other: he may be from manga/Crystal but I enjoy the original anime shenanigans.

Ren Jinguji

Info: Ren is the guy you will either really like and enjoy talking with or the guy who makes you annoyed with his flirty ways. He will flirt with just about anyone, mostly out of politeness. He's a carefree soul, but he also works hard. He is a kind person, always willing to help his friends.
Magics & Familiar: Healing & Kinetic / Fox Fairy named Princess

Desired CR: Mostly interested in positive CR with him, especially since he's lost a good chunk of his close CR. He's also gonna make a post after apps have been processed about looking for new employees over at his Karaoke Bar.
Known Plans: Ren is currently having a breakdown due to a lot his CR vanishing into thin air. He's gonna use this month to cling to his CR and recover, while also wondering what he should do with the whole being granted a piece of land as a Lord. He might or might not also end up being stuck in nightmares.

Canon: Doki Doki Literature Club!

Info: Monika is a sentient video game character with severe trauma, and who thinks all of her troubles will be solved the day she finds love. On the surface though, you won't see any of it. She gives the image of a particularly intelligent eighteen-years old who holds herself with poise and tries to be confident. She's not that good with people so sometimes she can be a little bit awkward or timid, but she's also very friendly and tries her very best to make sure people around her feel comfortable and appreciated. As a general rule, she's doing really great when things are going as planned, and starts doing far worse once things go in totally unexpected ways.

She's a really sweet and kind person who has done horrible and terrible things when she was driven to despair. She can be a bit selfish and her experience as a video game character was basically what can best be described as a living hell. She also knows deep down falling in love won't solve her problems, but it's a nice thing to believe in. She's very good at convincing herself of her own lies when needed.

Magics & Familiar: Kinetic Magic + Technomancy [pink nine-tailed fox]

Desired CR: Monika got a lot of CR and I'd really love to deepen the bonds she has! I love all of that CR and would love to see where it'll lead. Of course, making new friends would be good, too. She may also be ready to open up and say the truth about herself to people she's known for a bit now. You may also see a new side of Monika this month, see below for the amnesiac prompt.

Getting to know her while she's amnesiac would be beautifully terrible, too.

Known Plans: Monika is going to take a temporary amnesia potion, which will leave her amnesiac for one or two weeks. That means she will forget the events of DDLC and her stay in Avalon, only remembering the side stories from DDLC+. Following how terrible August and September have been for her, she is starting to wonder whether she can ever be happy so long as she carries with her the weight of the nightmare she was born in. The existential crisis, the trauma and PTSD, the intense guilt she feels— That's starting to be a bit too much.

Her idea is that erasing her memories of everything ever since her "epiphany" is going to make her happy! So while it'll last, she'll be normal girl again with no worries and no existential crisis. It's a test run to see whether permanently erasing her memories would be a good idea. Of course, it's obviously a bad idea because she won't really be herself any more without all the memories.

So if you'd like to meet amnesiac Monika, lemme know! I'll have a log posted later this month. It may be a very informative experience for people, not so much because of what she'll say, but because of the severe difference with non!amnesiac Monika.

Her youtube show will still be posted on schedule though. Prior to taking the potion, Monika will make sure to have enough episodes pre-recorded and will automate their uploads. Can't risk losing viewers!

Info:Rei is a bioengineer whose master invention brought an end to weaponized warfare back home. Currently he's pretending to be a slimy conman in order to hide that fact, as well as pave the way for his next plans. Unfortunately for all of us, his conman act is very convincing....
When he's not busy trying to sign people up for pyramid schemes Rei is a nosy, blunt and overly-familiar old man who gives surprisingly good advice. He loves music, good food, and barhopping! Also he's DTF.

Info: Overly serious, half-alien former juvvie who's now the leader of a ragtag bunch of heroes piloting giant lion robots that transform and combine into an even bigger robot to save the universe. Has some anger management issues, but is really kind of a sweetheart.
Magics & Familiar: Elemental/Animal magics, Tarak the kotka as a familiar (miniaturized from canon size, basically a flying snake with sharp teeth and ox-horns)
Desired CR: Looking to get Keith into being a mentor for the whole 'pay it forward' idea. He feels like he could never pay Shiro back for helping him get his life back on track as a teen, so helping another kid do the same would be something Keith would be more than happy to attempt. I'm also open to shipping. Keith would not be good in a poly relationship because of confidence issues, his competitive nature, and some potential jealousy problem (he's very likely to leave the relationship if he feels left out or like a third wheel). I play him bi, so open to ideas here. He's surprisingly shippable, and can be pretty soft with his loved ones. He's also fiercely protective and loyal.
Known Plans: With Shiro having gone again, he's going to be pretty down this month. He'll probably throw himself into quests and working on things to get his mind off stuff, which is totally the most healthy way to handle his negative emotions, right? Right? Someone make him take a break and rest.

Info: Izumi is the general director of the Mankai Company and a Protagonist extraordinare. She is a genuinely lovely person, incredibly passionate about theatre, curry, and is emotionally astute and good at advice. But underneath that, she does have a bit of a snarky streak, along with a good helping of the stupid.

She's adorable, please love her.

Magics & Familiar: Light & Bargaining / Miho The Lioness

Desired CR: Izumi is just straightforwardly nice, bright, and good with people, so positive CR is pretty easy with her! I am always looking for CR with lovely ladies, as her canon is a sausage fest and she deserves some good ladybonding. She has no experience with magic or the supernatural before coming here, so that's always a good way to bond with her — if you're more experienced with non-mundane things, please teach her, and if you're not, come and side-eye everything with her.

If your character might have even the SLIGHTEST interest in acting, please feel free to throw them at her, as she'll definitely try to recruit them. u_u If your character just needs a Good Presence in their life, she'll do her best to help. If your character wants to know all the benefits of a curry-based diet... well, she's an expert.

Also because she's certified Useless: if you hit on her, you'll make her brain short-circuit.

Known Plans:
The Nimbus flower prompt seems pretty interesting! I'd be happy to thread some stuff out there if anyone wants.

I really want to do stupid things with the Doppeldinner prompt because Izumi and infinite curry snacks is excellent content.

She is also available to be caught practicing her sword skills or magic if anyone wants to help her with those.

Info: A slightly snobby noble who means well and has a good heart underneath the haughtiness. A healer and member of the kingdom's army back home, who has high standards for everyone she meets - but she's aware she definitely needs to lower them.

Desired CR: Open for anything and everything!
Known Plans: She's aware she's been a Negative Nelly for a while, and is struggling to change that. She also wants to expand her light magic knowledge/expertise, so she may ask for advice/teachings about that.

Character Name: Toshirou Hijikata
Canon: Gintama
Info: He's a mayonnaise-obsessed samurai policeman with a short fuse, from an Edo that was conquered and rapidly modernised by aliens in the 19th century. Gintama is a mix of comedy/parody, action and drama, so he knows how to roll with a lot of mood whiplash!

Magics & Familiar: Elemental/Death & Crow Tengu (Arashi)
Desired CR: I'm always up for anything, but seeing how knights can now appoint squires and deputies Hijikata is game for that!! That said he's already got his hands full with his ghost patrol, so I'll most likely limit his capacities to two squires for the time being. Shoto is first in line since Hijikata already offered to train him, and the other slot will preferentially be given to someone with death magic (to be Hijikata's stand-in with the ghosts). He'll also be going on most knight's quests from next month on and drag his squire(s) or other aspiring knights along for practice!

Known Plans: In terms of TDM prompts I decided to give Hijikata the short end of the stick this time: on the Life Alerts front he'll meet the basilisk and get petrified on the far side of the river (since he's still living across the Bridge of the Pure of Heart), so he won't be able to help search for the cure... but he will be available to be graffiti'd and eventually rescued, if someone wants to smear nimbus flower paste on him. Once the sleep paralysis hits the expedition at night he, who already had plenty of opportunities to face his fears and regrets, will be available to enter people's dreams through the cognitive mages' ritual and try to help them out of their nightmares!

Out of the Going Viral prompts he's slightly less likely to get involved with the lava floor, and to the relief of probably everybody he also won't try to clone his mayonnaise since he already has his bottomless mug supplying him, and he'll be careful to wear a mask once he hears of the flu going around... so once again he's an ideal candidate to help others with their doppelgangers, endlessly multiplying and/or hungry food, and magical sneezes!

On the quest front he's available for the Dragon Quest if anybody is missing a third person! He'll want to slay it, though. After what it's done he's not in the mood for negotiations. Instead of giving out alms he'll set out to kill the fear gorta, taking them for zombies (I'll likely just tag out for this one), and he'll only help with the lettuces if someone asks him to (he's here for more gritty stuff than guarding delicacies)! He'll most likely stay away from this month's dark web quests as well since they either sound like bad news, aren't battle-heavy enough for his skillset, or seem like a lot of work for a dubious quest-giver.

Otherwise I think it's about time something went wrong with Hijikata's ghost patrol, so a few of his spectral subordinates will conspire to replace him as the commander, and some shit will go down... I'm still figuring out the details, but I'm thinking one of them will possess Hijikata and go around acting like a jackass, trying to incite the other ghosts to also possess people and take over (this will ultimately be localised to just one area of Camelot during the night and likely be over come morning).

Other: Gintama had a crossover event with Granblue Fantasy last month; it was really nice from what I saw! Here's Hijikata with his workmate Okita.

Does Hijikata still frequent Riou's old camp at all? I think you said he moved to the old man's house near the pure of heart bridge, but I can't remember what happened to the camp lol.

If he does still use it tho, that might be a great place for Rei and Hijikata to connect beyond their current transactional relationship!! Since it's out of the way (and still booby trapped????) maybe Hijikata makes Rei meet him there for the phone upgrades thinking it'd make him suffer a little (lol) and they can go from there?

Info: Boy, she's the country of Belgium personified! She's from an infamous canon known as Hetalia. Generally she's pretty laid back and enjoys baking, drinking, eating, making money, and teasing others~! She can be pretty scary when she wants to be as well! That said, Belgium doesn't really consider herself all that flashy, and typically doesn't go out of her way to show off.

Magics & Familiar: Alchemy/Green/Big Fluffy Lion~!

Desired CR: Everything! Friendship, Enemies, Frenemies. People to bake waffles with~!

Known Plans: She spoke to Medea last month over the possibility of starting up a brewer's festival during Christmas, and is actually kind of, sort of thrilled at the idea. To that end she'll be looking for anyone else brewing alcohol, or interested in it, or simply help with things. She will also be looking for/asking/desperate for help at her little beer café for the holiday season! So if anyone is interested in something like that feel free to hit me up as well.

EVENT WISE:

Dragon: I was debating on if I really wanted her to do anything with this, but figured why not? She'll be interested in catching the giant, homicidal reptile and bring it to JUSTICE!!!! Currently looking for group of likeminded individuals for that endeavor. Any and all may join her in this Crusade for JUSTICE!

Info: Griffin is a big beefy himbo. In his D&D campaign he is the party tank, AKA the team's Fighter. My DM talked me into making him an Eldritch Knight, which is a bad choice strategically for a character whose dump stat also his spellcasting modifier, but it's also freaking hilarious, so my DM didn't actually twist my arm too hard. Or at all, honestly.

Griffin is a tiefling - he's got a set of big chunky horns growing out of his forehead, blood-red eyes that appear to be all sclera, and a long heavy demon tail, because Infernal.

In Avalon he's got a good steady job as a blacksmith at Forge Ahead, and that is where he spends a lot of his time.

He also has a giant tarantula buddy named Daisy. Daisy is the size of a bull mastiff, weighs about a hundred pounds, and wants to be everyone's friend. Fun Daisy Trivia: Unlike Griffin, this giant spider actually has an Intelligence modifier, making her the brains of this particular duo. Just as a general heads-up, I don't involve her in threads without a CW, and won't bring her into threads unless I know the person I'm threading with is cool with giant spiders. Or spiders in general. Daisy acts more like a friendly dog than like anything else, but I totally get that she is some people's nightmare fuel.

...I really need to set up my Permissions/Opt-In post.

Magics & Familiar: Dark & Elemental magic that he still isn't aware of, and a raven familiar that apparently fucked off after he emerged from the lake, and who he is also unaware of.
Desired CR: FRIENDSHIP. Work got super busy this past month so I kind of fell off the wagon, but I'm hoping to get back on for November and continue to make lots of friends for this lad!
Known Plans: I do intend to put up an open log post this month with some of the quest board prompts, maybe some of the TDM prompts, and a slice-of-life prompt where characters can run into him at the forge if they have business there. Or even if they don't have business there, I'm not the boss of you, I don't make the rules.

I do specifically want to compose a starter for the Magic Flu prompt, because it's high time this big dummy figures out he can do magic, and if there's a better way to figure that out than by accidentally hexing someone, then I don't want to know about it.

Info: A hyper, hot-headed hedgehog from a world where people are obsessed with music, himself included. Crow is the vocalist and guitarist of the visual Kei Rock band, ShinganCrimsonZ, here to use his crimson's mind eye to reborn this stagnant world and all that jazz. If he's not chatting about music or darkness, he's probably stuffing his face with food or guzzling down milk. He also is a son of Dairy farmers, so he can be very passionate about his farm life too!

Desired CR: Bring on the friendships! He's totally missing his bandmates from back home, so he's definitely looking to connect with more people. So if he's already friends with you, he'll probably want to strengthen those bonds even more. If he just met you and thinks you're cool, he'll probably be hanging around a bit more. I'm not against negative CR either since Crow can get pretty heated, and animated when angry. It's fun to piss him off, so please do!

Known Plans: I'm planning to put up a catchall this weekend with TDM prompts and two quests prompts. Crow is two quests away from knighthood, so I'm hoping to do at least one this month. I'm eying the butterfly lettuce and the Skellen quests. If anyone would like to assist Crow with either of those, let me know.

As for TDM prompts, I'm planning the Floor Is Lava, Magical Flu, Hungry No more...and I might do the Sleep Paralysis demons as prompts.

I went on hiatus before I could really coordinate the auditions and assembling of the band, but I am still interested in putting it together. More to come on that later, but let me know if there's still interest.

Info: Aloof, somewhat stand-offish and prone to getting directly to the point in conversation/saying exactly what she needs to and no more. Is not without a softer side though, and often serves as the local repository of various lore in her own canon. Also, like Balthier, she knows her way around an airship, both in the flying aspect and also the maintenance aspect.

Also she's very clearly not human, given the giant bunny ears she's got, so there's that.

Well, he got his Nobility just in time for people to be offered to head Townships. And he might take Arthur up on the offer too. However, he wants to head a Township near the Ruins of Celliwig in order to help either rebuild or in order to reconstitute the remains into the new town. And once they finish up in Avalon overall, it can be left to the people. Also, also, it's close to the river and forests so it's just good overall for early rebuilding resources.

He maybe bargained with the Dullahan so he's not too worried about him being an issue, but this month's issue is the dragon so he wants to go deal with that. At some point, there's still Simon, but aside from all future plans, current are feeding the fae, dealing with 'lava', and doing whatever else he gets dragged into - he's not picky lol.

Positive CR: i mean if it’s possible, yes! But he is also a grumpy old man....so if your character can is likely old-timey or a foil, he can work well with them!
Neutral CR: that being said, he does have a lotta potential for neutral CR (or taking on a more mentoring role). He’s got big NPC energy tho and is pretty vague and cryptic (especially if ever asked about his world or family).  Kinda interested in seeking-other-royalty or seeking-other-dead-ppl or seeking-other-grandpas/dads CR too.
Negative CR: somnus did bad things in canon, so feel free to make him miserable. all he wants to do is go home and restore the Dawn, btu he can’t do that, so so far that sucks for him! make his life hell, menace him, punch him, do whatever! i’m down

Magics & Familiar: Alchemy / Death, Shadow Gwiber

Desired CR: Friends, enemies, frenemies - I'm trying to have him meet new people, which is difficult when he's an introvert. He plays most easily off people who slide very much into 'hero' or 'heroic' roles because he has...a lot of opinions about them. His way of doing things can be extreme.

Known Plans: I'm planning to take it easy this month. He has a log post up with some prompts from the test drive/November quests if that interests anyone.

General future plans may include him trying to actually uphold his title as a Knight. He does have an alchemy/goldsmith shop if someone is in the market for a custom potion etc. He won't question your wacky requests but he will heavily judge any queries about love potions.

Other: I'm a bit scattered trying to adjust to returning to normal retail hours now that lockdown is over so I'm constantly going through cycles of energy and no energy. Thank you for your patience.

Info: Info post on her journal. tl;dr: lance-wielding woman raised by dragons, has great social skills when it comes to dragons, pretty rudimentary ones when it comes to other human beings. Like all Final Fantasy dragoons her primary traits are 1. tragic backstory, 2. single-mindedness, and 3. a poor grasp on how to interact with other people.

Magics & Familiar: Elemental/blood, Moogle familiar

Desired CR: I'm interested in seeing how Barbara gets along with anyone tbh! She bonds most easily with other warrior-types, even (or especially) if they can go a long time without actually saying a full sentence to each other. But. Her encounters with posh fancy-type people are often hilarious and I am all for those. She's becoming more curious about what Normal Humans are and how they live.

Known Plans: She's recently been knighted, which she's not sure what to make of, but it definitely means she's got an archaeopterix mount she's gonna bond with! So she'll be processing how she feels about the knighthood, and also hanging out with a big ol' dino-bird. Rad.

She's had a few of her connections drop over the past few months, so she's feeling kind of unhappy about that and doesn't really know how to process it! She will probably try to do so through fighting things, because how else do you solve problems (lots of ways, maybe).
