It's been a while since Hijikata last purchased potions or gemstone boons for his gear from Emet, so I'd like to send him to his shop again one of these days... but I'm also interested in the prompts you put up for him! Would you think that one of them would suit these two (Hijikata just won't be available for 2 since the basilisk got him early on)?

Heck yes! Come and visit again, Hijikata. Emet is definitely warming up to him in his own aloof way.

Let's see... I think Hijikata isn't rash enough to assume Emet is poaching the lettuce, right? The Gancanagh prompt could have one saving the other from the creature's allure. Otherwise, if you feel like having Hijikata finally learn some context behind Emet's behaviour then we could throw him into AMAUROT (assuming you're okay with spoilers?)

Yeah, he'd give Emet the benefit of the doubt regarding the lettuces for sure! He wanted to avoid the Gancanagh because the last thing he needs is to end up eternally longing after some fae, but if he runs into Emet on the quest he'd probably come along for damage control (and nag a lot).

He'd actually be really interested in Emet's background (he's always so reserved!), and I'm fine with any and all spoilers, but just to make sure I understand it right, is the Amaurot prompt a sleep-paralysis-induced nightmare, or something else?

Oh heck, I should have clarified that it was the sleep paralysis prompt. I edited that in now but yes, it's the sleep paralysis-induced nightmare prompt!
