A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION

Your character starts by asking a question, which the other party answers and follows up with their own question. If your character has ever been nosy about something, now is the time to prod into it! Though, I warn you, no one is obligated to be honest in their answers. Lies are allowed. The only requirement is that you provide an answer to the question you're asked.

What is the Mankai Company and the Fleur Award?

( she nods. all very good hobbies. as long as you don't let video games take you down the taruchi path... )

Oh! Mankai Company is... ( she catches herself. it's not her dad's any more, is it? ) — my theatre company. And the Fleur Award is the top award for theatre troupes at home.

( director Tachibana. that's still a bit of a trip. )

Modern inventions... that means you're from the past, or...?

Correct! Ancient Macedonia. Perhaps you've heard of it?

( that gets her eyes wide with recognition. she's no historian, but she knows the name. )

Yeah! Um... not a lot, but I read about it in books.

What was theatre like there?

( ... of course. )

Athens was always the centre of theatrical greatness, not Macedon. However, that too was part of my empire, and Athenian actors part of my court. It brought me great joy to witness the gripping stories of both the tragedies and comedies.

Do you know Euripides? I can still recite a scene from one of his plays by heart!

I know of him! ( her life is pretty cool but not that cool. still, maybe there's a day where she'll say Tsuzuru's name and someone will react with the same glee she's feeling hearing all of this. )
