![]() Premise ⚔️️ Rules ⚔️️ FAQ ⚔️️ Taken ⚔️️ Reserves ⚔️️ Apply ⚔️️ Locations ⚔️️ Bestiary ![]() A ⦿ Soaking in Your Arrival
Regardless of what you were in the middle of, you and your familiar have been magically pulled into the world of Avalon just above the Bay's waters. After a brief plunge into the Bay, the rush of water filling your ears and soaking up into every creak and crevice of your body, you may need to cough to clear your airways when you rise above the surface. You'll definitely see other new arrivals plopping in. If you can't swim, a red-headed woman known only as the Lady of the Lake will drag you to the shore if she doesn't spot someone else near you helping so no one ends up drowning. She's a little busy casting directive magic to make sure everyone lands safely and playing lifeguard, so if anyone attempts to talk to her, she'll tell them to head up to the Rent-a-Ride. The shores themselves are littered with new arrivals complaining their way up a staircase carved into the walls of the White Cliffs. There is no railing, so be careful, but if you do fall, be prepared for a mysterious sand hand to reach out of the side of the cliffs to catch you. The hand will pat you atop the head twice before retreating back into the wall. This is the Cliff Beast; despite the name, he is quite friendly. B ⦿ The Caravan to Camelot
These carriages use fae technology that combats weight, so your character will be able to get in regardless of whether they're light as a feather or weigh two tons. The carts have air conditioning when it's hot, heating when it's cold, and a mystical shield to protect from bugs. There is also a mini-bar that pops out of the console with nip bottles. Characters can use their smartphones to connect to Camelot's internet service, ![]() C ⦿ The Red Spring
If you don't want to relax in the room, try taking a dip in the spring for another chance to meet your fellow travelers. The waters have restorative properties that help horses and travelers recover quickly when drunk. It is known to relieve stress, improve energy levels, and mildly accelerate healing. The springs are also home to a large training grounds just outside town limits, where there are teachers who will teach basic magic safety and help you discover what kind of magic you have together with other new arrivals. Try target practice, obstacle courses, meditation circles, and other ways to try to figure out just what you can do.. if you didn't already have an accidental discovery on the ride there. ![]() A ⦿ Get Fresh
B ⦿ Be Merry
C ⦿ Eat Well
Have a seat, meet a new neighbor, find a roommate, maybe a new or old friend? Talk to the person to your left, your right, across from you. Mingle, enjoy the food, the music, it shouldn’t be long before the information promised is provided. Till then take your fill and get to know your fellow travelers. ![]() You've been here a few days now and have gotten a chance to settle in, find a place to stay, and Camelot's citizens have decided that you've been here long enough to start living your life again. Well, your new life. A group of citizens have decided to give everyone their first quest. "Hear ye, hear ye!" a man in chain mail with a tablet with his statement typed up on it declares to a crowd from atop a pedestal. There are two other citizens around him with phones to post the video to AOL later to make sure the word gets heard ye all around. "Those with magic, we beseech thee! Findeth us a grail most holy hidden in the depths of the Brocéliande! This holy grail is known to grant thine wishes three, a most noble quest for noble souls! Great reward will come to those who find it and proclaim at least one of their wishes to find the great Excalibur for King Arthur!" This is the first you've heard about King Arthur, and it seems curious that he hasn't yet shown his face around town. It also seems strange that this guy is speaking like he's stepped out of a bad period piece, and probably should be the clue that this is more or less an attempt to haze some of the newcomers by sending them into the forest... but no one is telling newcomers this. It's better to get them out there and start praciticing, after all. A ⦿ Lost, and Lost, and Lost Again
Which is what makes it peculiar when you keep passing the exact same locations over and over again, as if you've been traveling in circles or reaching the end of the map in a video game and coming out the other end. You're stuck in a space loop. The only way out is to successfully find the one difference in each loop five times in a row and collect it. Maybe it's a strange frog, a crystal that wasn't there before, a small wooden step that doesn't lead anywhere, or some other singular item, you've got to find what stands out... pick the wrong item, and you'll have to start your five count over again, and again, and again... B ⦿ Grail, and Grail, and Grail Again!?
C ⦿ A Quest Completeish

Harry Potter | Harry Potter series (OTA)
One minute earlier Harry was at the Headmaster’s Office, trying to repair his old wand with the Elder Wand’s help, but the next thing that happened, he finds himself plunged deep into the water and immediately resurfaces to catch his breath. He is in shock to discover that this is not the Office he was in a while ago, then he hears squeaking next to him, turning around to see a pink Pygmy Puff (just like Arnold, except it’s not Arnold and it’s actually a girl!) floating in the water thanks to her puffy fur acting as a life saver.
Harry motions the creature to swim towards him and hang onto his left shoulder like it is like a raft before he begins to swim to shore with the Pygmy Puff hanging onto the shoulder for dear life. Once he gets both of them to the beach, he lets her jump onto the sandy ground while he takes off his jacket and squeezes out the excess water out of it before he turns his attention to the little puffy creature staring at him.
“What are you doing here?” he asks the slightly shaken creature, however she is too shell-shocked from the water to give off a squeak, when Harry notices a crowd of strangers and many creatures who are also present in the beach and not a single person look like they came from his world at all. This day has gotten even weirder for the tired Boy Who Lived and he has no clue where to begin.
(Welcome Feast)
After getting himself cleaned up at the wash room, Harry is then directed to the main dining hall and he has gotten himself a plate of food he could recognize (bangers and mash with peas and onion gravy) before sitting down near the end of a table. He has no time to listen to the jester and other entertainers as he eats while the Pygmy Puff, now named Rose for her pink fur, happily munches on a small plate of leafy greens on the table (since she is still tiny even with all that fur).
When everyone starts to fill up the dining hall, he sees that there is someone looking for somewhere to sit on and he moves himself, Rose, and their plates & his goblet of a drink similar to Butterbeer, directing the person to the space next to him, “Hey, I just moved a bit for you to sit on and not worrying about eating food on the floor.”
(Training)
(OOC: Harry will start off having kinetic magic, although it will be weak at first.)
After a few nights of rough sleep, Harry finally gets up to head for the training grounds to get started: having gotten used to getting advance lessons and teaching lessons to his fellow students at home has taught well him; he knows that he has to get used to this world’s magic and find out what kind of magic he has gotten in here.
Luckily, the Elder Wand of all things did followed with him, even though he had plans to get rid of it back home, so he might as well train with it while Rose happily naps on a bench nearby. He would stop for a bit to pet her fur, which she responds with a high-pitched purr.
When more newcomers arrived with their own weapons (whether they bought them in town or with them when they first arrived), he will approach them and ask them one question, “So, ready to get started and find what magic we have in this place?”
Re: Harry Potter | Harry Potter series (OTA)
A girl near him had been sunning her broad wings when she noticed him. She folded her wings across her back, the feathers mixing with the vines from her hair and clothes, and bounded over. She looked about his age, with bright green eyes and bark brown skin. If not for her wings she would look a bit like a tree took human form. Her hair had green vines with leaves in it, and her shirt and pants seemed like tightly woven vines and leaves, all spring fresh. They were so green that they looked almost alive. And healthy. Her shoes were made of tree bark.
"Oh! You're so cute!" she said. To the puff. He hardly seemed to warrant attention, other than as the thing the puff was sitting on. She reached into a pouch of woven leaves on her hip and pulled out a berry, offering it to the puff. "I'm Rhianon of the Druma Wood." Yes, she was introducing herself to a pygmy puff.
no subject
"Oh Hello, it looks like she has a liking to you already," he replies, "I had a friend who had one back home. That one over here is Rose. Don't worry, she wouldn't bite your fingers off."
no subject
A small creature poked its head out from under her sleeve. It had a small furry head with long flapping ears and a big mouth. It only had three teeth however, each green to match his eyes. The creature laughed. It was a grating sound. "Haka haka haka! Spindly man man have even less bite that the lastest one did-does!" It laughed again, mockingly.
She chuckled lightly and stroked the small furry head. "And this is Scully. Who apparently came along for the ride."
It laughed again.

“At least you got someone (by someone, he means a creature companion) from your world who knows you very well. Rose wasn’t with me until I arrived here and saw her floating on the water. And I didn’t remember owning a Pygmy Puff back home,” he tells her before he introduces himself, “By the way, I’m Harry, nice to meet you, Rhianon.”
no subject
"Harry, odd name. But it suits you. "I'm Rhiannon. Rhia to my friends." Take care if you call her a friend, Harry. She grinned. "So. Shall we find where this place keeps its sweetest fruit?"
no subject
Oh, I think I poked his arrival, whoops, lol.
That’s okay, mistakes do happen.
Still, it is nice to have meet some people for a change. Even as much as he misses his friends back home, a part of him has to remind him that he will be stuck here for a long while.
When he does get to the fruit section, he didn’t beat Rhia in getting there first, but at least Rose won’t starve herself by him gathering enough fruit to keep her tummy happy.
Re: That’s okay, mistakes do happen.
Scully laughed. "Or to fallyfall."
She laughed too. "Well yes," she said, tossing her hair a bit, grinning. Her eyes twinkled with amusement. "Anything worth doing right is worth doing wrong a few times first." She winked at Harry. "The wings are new. The flying isn't."

training
"Yeah, the sooner the better. Have you talked to one of the instructors yet? I've tried meditating, but...I dozed off." Which wasn't one of his proudest moments, yet definitely not as embarrassing as he can get. Scratching the back of his neck, he's smiling sheepishly.
"I'm Akira, by the way. What would you say to a duel? Not sure if it helps, but I'm running out of ideas."

It's difficult to predict what might happen and he has gotten rusty with knives. Magic is one thing, but he'd rather not depend on it fully.

“As a matter of a fact, yes I am. Though I got the same statement from an old friend of mine back when I was 11, but that was when I didn’t know what magic was as a kid,” he replies.
He sees some rocks a few inches away and looks like an idiot for staring at them for minutes. That is, until he is shocked to discover that rocks begin to agitate and float from the ground for a few minutes before they fall down to the ground. Yes, he actually tried to make rocks move with his godforsaken mind.
Welcome Feast
What do you take me for?
Still, the grim did nothing more than sniff and then meander under the table lay down at Minato's feet, looking nothing more than a big black dog despite the wisps around him.
Minato nodded to the other teen. "Thank you."
He also slid some fruit onto the pink thing's plate in thanks as well. Honestly, all the familiars really weren't a bother to him. The only real shock, he supposed, was seeing them out and about so casually. He was used to not seeing anything supernatural unless they were called. Still, it was nothing too difficult to get used to.
no subject
He also is grateful that he gave some fruit to Rose as well, she happily squeaks as she blissfully munches them in joy with her vegetables. If he’s paying attention, he could be seen giving a faint smile.
“So, what’s your name and where you’re from?” he then asks the blue haired boy, “I’m Harry, I actually grew up in Surrey, but I was in Scotland when I got to Avalon with Rose, my Pygmy Puff friend, joining me in the water.”
no subject
The little noise the creature made only pulled a small, soft smile from Minato. Kuro was actually happy to see that. Feeling like he was "caught", Minato quickly hid it by digging into his own food.
"Mm," He finished chewing before answering. The boy was from the UK, then? He had to mentally switch gears for a moment since they said their first names first, right? "Minato. I'm from Japan. I was at Gekkoukan high school in Iwatodai when I ended up here. This is Kuro, he's a church grim."
no subject
“Minato, it’s really nice to meet you and your friend over here,” he replies in return before asking about Kuro’s species form, “Pardon me, but what’s a church grim? Is it a species I never saw in my Fantastic Beasts textbook before?”
no subject
He could at least explain what a church grim was, though. He took a moment to take a bite of food, handing some to Kuro as well. "They're creatures that protect churches, usually a specific one that they were killed at. Usually it's black dog, like Kuro, but I think they can take on any shape. That's about all I know, we don't study a lot of Western folklore in Japan."
no subject
“You have something similar to familiars back home?” he asks him before taking a sip of the Butterbeer-like drink from the goblet, “Back in my world, we usually have owls, cats, and frogs, although there was someone who had a snake for a familiar.”
He is being cautious not to give away anything related to Voldemort too soon to be safe while he is reeling in from the recent Battle in Hogwarts. He is pretty interested in hearing his seat mate’s thoughts.
no subject
"What you would call a familiar, what this place would call a familiar, was not unlike what we had back home," He started. "But they were called Personas and unlike Kuro, mine were me, and I am them. Kuro is not me, he is his own person. Personas are our personality given physical form. In psychological terms, a persona is one of many masks we wear to get through our daily lives. How we act and speak to one person is different to another. What I and my friends could do was bring that to life, but it was only during a hidden 25th hour of the day between midnight and the next day. We called it the Dark Hour."
Kuro sat up, looking at Minato intently. The familiar knew a bit of this already, being bonded of course, but it was the first to hear the details.
"Everyone has a persona, even you," He said. "But only a select few have the potential to summon it. Those with the potential could see the Dark Hour, but then you were also susceptible to the shadows that roamed during this time. You won't need to worry about it, though. The Dark Hour is gone now."
no subject
“So I also have a Persona of my own as well but only a few people can summon them? That is interesting: they are essentially extensions of ourselves, right?” he speaks up as Rose lifts her head out of confusion, he then strokes her head to reassure her that Minato didn’t intend to overload her with too many information, to which she calms down and continues eating her food.
no subject
"Yes," He answered, pulling his hand back to pet Kuro's head for a moment. At least he left out the whole Wildcard and Velvet Room business. There was no way he could explain that. "I don't have the ability anymore, not without the Dark Hour or... hm."
He shook his head. "Nevermind, it's not appropriate for the dinner table." With the image of his Evoker in his head, clearly missing its weight at his hip, even Kuro looked a little alarmed. That's what Minato did to summon his persona?
I suppose my presence is a lot more appropriate than I realized.
In more ways than one, Kuro. "Sorry."
