As familiars are a big part of our game, I wanted to give everyone a chance to talk about their familiars and maybe even find some fun familiar CR going on~! Here is a nice little form you can fill out or you can just do whatever you want for replies too, I won't judge!

Special features: He's three-legged and bigger than the average crow. His feathers are dark, but when they hit the light there's a slight tint of red to them.
Personality: Onyx can be very dramatic. He tends to pose in the background of Crow's video calls or make dramatic entrances during fights, definitely gaining these narcissistic traits from Crow. He also likes shiny objects and tends to hoard anything in the color of scarlet. Onyx is also overprotective of Crow and might be confrontational towards anyone with ill-intent.
Can they talk: He can only speak with Crow and to everyone else, it's just coos and caws

Name: Lamassu (at least for now)
Species: Lamassu
Special features: "A celestial being from ancient Mesopotamian religion bearing a human head, bull's body, sometimes with the horns and the ears of a bull, and wings." They often served as guardians, protecting and supporting (sometimes literally as architectural elements in Assyrian art) important places.
Personality: Aziraphale's described Them as like a headmaster. Lamassu is not so much bored as They are DONE with everything. When nearly 3000years old you are, patience you will also have not. Things would go a lot smoother for poor Lamassu if Aziraphale would stop mooning over the Demon and just do his magic studies. Alas.
Can they talk: Yes and yes. Lamassu uses We when talking and I've recently extended it to They in the narrative, though I am inconsistent and so Lamassu is a He/They. Despite the English Headmaster attitude described above and Aziraphale's comparison of Lamassu to the Metatron of his canon, I imagine They talk slowly and perhaps a little bored. In my head (based on imperfect memory of their voices, mind you), I've come to imagine Them sounding somewhat like a mix of handful of characters from The Neverending Story and, ok, a little bit of inspo from some very tired teacher characters. No, I do not have a soundbite. I don't know how to describe exactly what I mean, but it makes sense in my head. Lamassu sounds ANCIENT and SO VERY DONE. Asking himself this every day.

Special features: Spectral hounds of the otherworld. They're basically hellhounds in Welsh Mythology. They're symbols of death, and are stark white with red eyes and red ears. They're VERY cute big doggies. OF COURSE Louis' familiar has a connection with death and is a DOG.
Personality: He's a quiet, protective sort. He's not sassy, he doesn't talk back. Just quietly appears and follows to make sure my dumbass doesn't do things like light his own blood on fire, or offer to get more of his body parts eaten. That sort of thing.
Can they talk: Yes & Yes. He doesn't talk a lot tho. Louis likes quiet company and it works.
Visuals: he's p. cute tbh - appearance wise, he looks more like the first than the second image, but he does have the red eyes/ears, and lots of pointy teeth

Personality: Reserved, aloof and damn hard to get a hold of!
Can they talk: Yes, he can talk just like a person (in Japanese, but I reckon it'll get magically translated into any other language).

Visuals: The art below best matches what I imagine him to look like, and this is where I got my inspiration for this familiar in the first place! I really like drawing from the many official merchandise lines (hence why I gave Hijikata cattle traits in Prismatica based on him representing the Ox in the zodiac line, etc). This yokai line spawned a really popular AU that still gets a lot of fanart, and those in our little Gintama cast from Prismatica who moved to Avalon decided to match their familiars to their assigned yokai. So far we have Kamui with his nue and Hijikata with his crow tengu, and Tsukuyo with her unofficial nekomata (the merchandise lines are always a sausage fest because the merchandise team knows where the money is).

Special features: Also known as the Japanese chimera, nue have the head of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the legs of a tiger, and a snake for a tail. They can shapeshift into a black cloud and travel long distances that way. Supposedly they are harbringers of illness and misfortune.
Personality: Omelette is friendly if a bit bratty and competitive. He likes to be the biggest, baddest thing in any given room, happy to show off but a sore loser when it doesn't reap rewards. He is motivated by food much like his partner, but contrary to his carnivorous build, his favorite treats are bananas. Please scratch him behind his ears. He won't bite too hard.
Can they talk: No, he can't. Nue cries sound similar to the scaly thrush's eerily ringing bird calls. Omelette can understand what's being said, however, and he will respond accordingly.

Name: I haven't come up with one yet. If/when Toph gives her a name, there will probably be a serious name and a few nicknames.

Special features: Haven't decided on any besides being more the size of a dog rather than being huge.
Personality: Pretty serious, and usually near Toph's side, acting as her guide without being too intrusive at it. Tends to be very still when seated/lying down, to the point where people assume she's asleep.
Can they talk: she can talk, but usually doesn't, especially around other people. Toph talks enough for both of them. Very expressive body language when people talk to her (or she hears something she has opinions on).

Species: Blue Eyes White Dragon. Her color is more silvery-blue than in the wiki image, like her namesake.
Special features: Her special ability is White Lightning. As the name implies, she can do small lightning zaps. (She's small enough to comfortably fit on his shoulder, so there's no big attack range to worry about.)
Personality: She's a very curious and mischievous young dragon, and likes to play at stealth. Making fun of her owner's stiff personality is one of her favorite pastimes.
Can they talk: No, she communicates primarily through tail flicks and wing flaps.

Special features: A large black dog a little larger than a Great Dane in its standard size. Its fur is long, ears upright, and its eyes are red with a fiery glow to them. It can control its form and turn from a big dog into a very big dog. Also, being a nocturnal apparition, it sees and navigates well in the dark.
Personality: Aloof towards strangers unless they are hostile, and tentatively gentle around those it comes to like. Very protective of those it is attached to. Will relentlessly attack an enemy unless it is signalled to break off. Likewise, because it is a nocturnal apparition, it isn't likely to be seen around during the day unless deliberately called.
Can they talk: The familiar doesn't speak in human tongues, but it understands every word you are saying.

Special features: Looks a bit like an asian longhorn beetle, black and blue with white spots. Has a sharp beak with little patchy whiskers and scissor-like hands on his front legs.
Personality: A mischievous little yōkai who is obsessed with cutting people's hair whenever Momo's not keeping a close eye on him.
Can they talk: He chitters like a bug and sometimes says his own name like a Pokemon/makes snipping noises. But beyond that, no, he doesn't speak.

Species: Fox spirit
Special features: This little troublemaker has three tails, and hapily floats as it pleases. It can disguise itself as a human, though a human with some very fox-y features (paws, tail, etc)
Personality: Konnan is a troublemaker. The creature finds great amusement in causing others trouble, especially his chosen. That said, his mischief isn't completely without additional purpose. The fox quite often chooses to create trouble that will get his human to interact with others, desiring for her to form more bonds. Konnan seems to think himself very wise, but the reality of this situation is that he's still quite young as far as fox spirits go.
Can they talk: He can talk both mentally and physically. He can be heard when speaking physically, but only seems to speak mentally to Ruby and other familiars.

Species: Goliath Grimm (Vale breed, not Atlesian) - it's basically a giant black elephant with boney spikes and a boney face mask
Special features: He's shrunken down to be about hip-height on Emerald. Its actual size is about 4 stories tall. Goliath Grimm are named for their size, and they vary between 1-6 stories (based on what we've seen so far anyway!)
Personality: Very quiet, looms and just watches and waits from a distance most of the time. It would seem like this is because Emerald shoos him all the time, but in reality, Goliath Grimm are known for watching and waiting until the exact moment they can cause the most destruction.
Can they talk: Nope. Emerald gets feelings of intent from him for communication, but definitely not speech.

Special features: Nobusuma are basically flying squirrel monsters that are flying squirrels with giant toothy bloodthirsty mouths on their stomachs. Riou's is a red flying squirrel. It's very cute from the top, as long as its mouth doesn't open.
Personality: Nutz loves snacking more than anything else in the world. Give him nuts, berry, fire, or blood and he will be a snuggly little thing. Give him attitude and he will fly out of a tree and eat your face. The switch can be flipped in a second. He's nocturnal, but during the day he loves to sleep inside of Riou's big cargo pockets. If he smells any of his favorite foods on you, he will wake up and come try to munch. So, you know, bandaid or heal quickly...
Can they talk: Just to Riou.

Special features: Tanuki is a tanuki. But like the mythological kind, not the normal animal kind. It has a hat, a money bag, usually some kind of food, a bottle of sake, and big balls that expand and stretch as needed to use as a seat, a boat, a clobbering hammer, they use their sacks as sacks to carry things, GUYS IM NOT MAKING THIS UP JAPANESE TANUKI MYTHS ARE FUCKING WEIRD??? Midorima frequently takes care to make him wear a loin cloth or boxers or a diaper or something to cover it up, but when given the chance, he will go bare-balls as often as possible.
Personality: A free-spirited tanuki who loves to drink. He laughs at people who put a lot of effort into things that can be done an easier way, and loves to play tricks. He's almost always drunk.
Can they talk: Yes.

Special features: They can breathe frost and trap people in their birdcage. And be rode around like a mount which won't apply here.
Personality: "Cursed dolls inhabited by the souls of sweet little girls who died unfortunately early, and now wander aimlessly in search of playmates." She is dependent on attention and will help others finish tasks if it means they can be friends. This contrasts with Jasper who prefers solitude. He fulfils a fatherly role but is not especially affectionate or nurturing. This means she can be especially lonely and insecure.
Can they talk: Yes. Monsters back on Erdrea can speak the common language and be heard by humans.
