Character Name: Darin Altway
Canon: Original Character
Info: Darin is your standard JRPG/shounen style protagonist. He's loud, kinda dumb, does one or two things extremely well, and incredibly hot-blooded. He's a master blacksmith and his world is set in a high fantasy genre, so he's not great with technology. Yet! Did I mention that he's the living reincarnation of a dark god hellbent on destroying his world? There's that too and he hates it. He's also super bad about keeping that under wraps apparently! But he's a good guy at heart and he really just wants to help when he isn't being a petty jerk sometimes.
Magic & Familiar: Healing Magic & an Antlion Familiar!
Desired CR: I am absolutely game for any kind of CR and plotting. As of right now, Darin's still adjusting to being depowered as well as having magic. But starting next month he will officially be opening his forge! He'll be looking for collaborators/apprentices/weapon and armor models and testers, all kinds of help! Other than that, got a villain in need of a protagonist to antagonize? Want to subtly manipulate Darin's feelings to see if he goes full godly destroyer on everyone? Want to just thread out something off the cuff and hilarious? I'm down for it! I love all kinds of CR and I'm open to plot short and long term stuff. Don't be afraid to tag me or add me on plurk!
Known Plans: Aside from starting up his forge, Darin will be around town doing all kinds of quests and jobs. He's not interested in knighthood or nobility yet, nor would he go looking for the Dark Web quests, but that sure doesn't mean people can't sucker him into joining them for more evil and nefarious quests.
Other: Once more I am woefully unprepared for this, I need to start saving funny things.

So I hear Darin's gotten into some shenanigans with Hijikata...so Sougo will instantly seek out any person who annoys Hiji

(But even though Sougo's got his sword with him he'd like to have a forgery around just in case. Although he will request that any new sword also have mp3 player capabilities)

That’s not exactly what happened but that’s how Darin is planning on explaining it

Walter is getting interested in weapons-design in light of the magical adversaries they may be facing down the road. He's no blacksmith, but I offer him as someone to throw ideas around with that Darin can tweak and bring to realization.
