Character Name: Saber (Artoria Pendragon)

Canon: Fate/Stay Night

Info: The Now and Forever King of Knights herself, Artoria Pendragon. History tells us that King Arthur was, obviously, a man... but in Fate, King Arthur was actually a woman disguised as a man. Her tale ended a long time ago, but in Fate, she's summoned into the Holy Grail War as a Saber-class Servant (and actually sits as one of the higher-tier servants). She's strong-willed and speaks truthfully, but she's willing to lie if necessary. She insists that she is a knight and king above all, and that her gender is of little importance to her and her role. She is resolute in following her own morals, regardless of the more viable, yet underhand, tactics being available. Artoria prefers direct, fair confrontations based upon codes of chivalry. Not even her hunger for the Holy Grail can make her abandon her code of honor.

She appears cold, but is usually suppressing her emotions to focus on her goals. For the most part, Artoria is a serious person who fully devotes herself whatever task she's given. This can especially true when it comes to competition, since she's a sore loser, though truthfully her soreness is directed at her own weakness. Normally overly sensitive to others' feelings, Artoria can become obstinate at her worst. She can spend hours on a single task until she's satisfied.

Underneath her serious exterior that she feels forced to hold, Artoria shows herself to be a kind-hearted and gentle person who wishes to protect those she cares about. She is perceptive when it comes to the others' feelings and their troubles, almost dangerously so when combined with her low self-worth and habit to overthink. She is shown to have a voracious appetite, finishing large servings of rice within one minute. Although she can normally eat anything, Shirou's food education in her canon is what awoke her gourmet spirit.

Info: I have a previous app over here in her journal for those unfamiliar! But basically she is a young girl raised to sacrifice herself for her world. By going on a journey and giving up her humanity. There's. A lot more to this particular journey she is unaware of at the start but. Spoilers. If anyone hasn't yet played it.

But the important things is that she is/was an Angel, loves dogs, is the clumsiest ever (there is a running thing of her tripping and leaving imprints of her body in walls in the game, activating traps by tripping into them that cause good things to happen on her end? somehow?) She is the resident thief of the party that I find Hilarious (by....yup, tripping into her opponent and yoinking items from them.) and goes and befriends the ninja sent to assassinate her so. Yeah. That's Colette.

Magic & Familiar: Light magic, and she has a Protozoan (for those familiar. It's a Noishe that isn't specifically Noishe.)

Desired CR: Friends, allies, found family, people to take advantage of how much of a ditz/how naïve she is? With so much going over her head sometimes honestly. It's all good. She's still new really so I'm down for most anything. People to ???? at her whole situation with the Journey and people to wtf over it in hearing even the bare basics.

Known Plans: Off of the top of my head I guess I want to do something with a network post with her maybe sharing the story of Martel and asking about other people's stories from home?

I'm pretty open otherwise really in aside from that I guess I want to have her keep practicing her new light magic and stuff? And just in general keep adjusting and settling into things here. Go on quests. The bunny one looks cute.....

Info: A sassy, sarcastic devil hunter with a hair-trigger temper, but he's also essentially a kind person who is devoted to his loved ones. He just hides it under many, many layers of being a cocky asshole to everyone else. Although it's a tiny bit less hidden now, since last month he obtained a knighthood... oops.

He has Kyrie around now, so he's spending a lot of time with his gf like the GIANT SIMP he is. He also takes care of Ken and Alice. Vergil is his long lost father??? He's kind of getting used to having him around here, so that's going to be an awkward one to figure out.

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic and Geryon
Desired CR: He tends to make enemies and frenemies based on first impressions, so if you like negative CR (or just friendly-but-argumentative CR), he's your dude. Aside from that, I'm down for anything.
Known Plans: I planned to have Nero take on the thief quest this month! Aside from that, nothing specific. I'll likely focus on tagging out to other people's plans with Nero this month, so let me know if you'd like him anywhere.

Info: Grumpy former military from a world where science has made it possible for people to get powers via the ingestion of a pill, which was immediately snapped up by governments and bootlegged by drug dealers. She is cynical, stand-offish and despite it all, extroverted — just lost in bad habits formed after the murders of her parents. Basically thinks keeping her (adoptive) brother safe and provided for is the only thing she's good for any more. Restless, loves exercising and anything that can distract her from her own thoughts for a little while.

Desired CR: Copy-pasting what I wrote last time because it will pretty much always apply;
— She definitely deserves to have CR with people who won't tolerate her bs, because there is a l o t of it. So, I'm definitely here for all shades of negative / argumentative CR with her.
— On the other hand, nerds who remind her of her brother would be A+ for getting her to soften up, as well as laid-back, positive personalities who can just shrug off her negativity. I really enjoy opposites attract sort of CR with her, so anything along those lines.
— Drinking buddies! Just. Yeah. She is often in bars, please join her.
— Comrades in arms. If your character is doing the combat-focused quests — wanna team up?
— Also if anyone wants to help her practice her magic, that is always appreciated!

— Running buddies! I can't believe I forgot this last time. She goes running pretty much every day the weather isn't complete garbage, and enjoys parkour, so whether your character wants to join her for a session or narrowly avoid her as she comes rolling off a wall, I'm here for it.
— Dark web questers. She really has no particular moral obligation to not do these quests, so she's definitely using them as a way to earn money and kill time. So I'd love to have her partner up on dark web quests with people this month and onwards!

As I'm planning on apping someone, I'm trying to take it easy with open posts, but I'm interested in having her do the Don't Lose Your Head quest and still looking for some takers with regards to that. If anyone wants to do it with her, I'm happy to put up a closed log or the like if it's necessary!
I'm also tossing her at Farmers-R-Us and I'm more than happy to collect random "throughout the day" interaction threads if you want one.
Lastly, her IC Inbox is always open to random shenanigans!

Info: He's the main villain of XIV's current expansion, Shadowbringers. An ancient being known as an 'Ascian' to mortals, he was once compelled to serve a god known as Zodiark but has since been freed of it after events in his previous game. Now 100% tired old man trying to find a new purpose in life - or at least for the time he's here.

Magic & Familiar: Alchemy, Shadow Gwiber

Desired CR: I'm not looking for anything specific as I like to see what kind of relationships grow organically through his interactions with others. I'm definitely open to (and welcome) cross-canon CR! Ideally he'd make some new...friends? 'Friend' is a bit of a stretch considering how difficult he is to get along with. He's the sort of person who makes a big fuss over having to do anything but then will up and do it anyway and do it thoroughly so that there's no excuse to call him back to fix it.

Known Plans: I'm planning to take it easy in March as I'm still working through a lot of February threads, plus nothing is standing out to me re: the quest board right now. We'll see if that changes for the next event, but if you have something going on that you think might benefit(?) from Emet meddling in it then I'm interested!

Info: He’s generally pretty jovial and laid back, huge nerd for magic, loves telling stories. Bit of an adrenaline junky if he gets too bored so if there’s adventure to be had he’ll be off doing that. Also he’s a bit of a feral wild child, used to living out in the wilderness, so he can come across a bit weird sometimes.

Desired CR: He’s new so I’m pretty open to anything, though I’d love some fellow nerds, or people that would put up with/find his stories amusing. People helping him learn newer technology would also be great. Especially if they teach him how to be obnoxious with emoji.

Known Plans: Nothing solid yet, mostly planning on tagging out I think for now. I would like to maybe find him a roommate at some point to help him dominate to living indoors with modern technology.

Info: The sadist prince of the Shinsengumi who's a parody version of Okita Souji. Not kidding about the sadist part, he likes to say and do antagonistic things to get a reaction, all while having a deadpan expression. However, he can be a loyal comrade if he's not firing at you with his bazooka (which will only fire off confetti here in Avalon). And he does have his own sense of protecting the innocent. But most of the time he's a good guy with a bad guy's personality.

Now that he's separated from his mentor/big brother figure, he'll be bored and looking for something interesting to do, someone fun to rile up...idle hands are the devil's playground.

Magic & Familiar: Dark Magic and a cheeky kamaitachi that Sougo has taken to calling "Sasuke" as a joke.

Desired CR: I'm not kidding when I say anything and everything!!! But let's see here...

- Need some negative CR? Do I have the guy for you. He can click with other sadists, too.
- Quest/combat/training partners. This system would be fun to place him in because it would be a good way for him to actually get some positive CR jfkdsa;
- Maybe a similar mentor figure or someone like Kondou in general: someone who has charisma and believes in the good in everyone.

Known Plans: I'm working on getting settled in right now, so I don't have anything up right now other than building up CR. The quests look fun if anyone would like him and his combat skills, but he'd have to be convinced! :P

Info: alisaie is a feisty, loyal, very short elf from ye olde fantasy land (kind of). she's much more easygoing and friendly than she once was, so she's pretty easy to make acquaintances with, but she's got a short fuse and a strong sense of justice, so it isn't too difficult to push her buttons, either!! on her home world she was a red mage, which is a spellcaster/sword user type, which she's.. basically still doing here, she loves to FITE and also to read books because she's a nerd in jock's clothing. she also has a sweet tooth, and she's often firmly sitting in the idiot genius quantum zone. despite her sharp tongue she is the best friend anyone could ask for, she'd give the shirt off her back to those she loves and lay her life down for them just as quickly as she's bully them.

Info: Blond, spiky-haired dork with a big sword. Used to act like the cold "merc" asshole type, but grew outta that quick when he learned he wasn't some hotshot Ex-SOLDIER. He went on to save the world a couple times from some sexy jerk with silver hair and even bigger sword and became a delivery boy.

But okay! The tl;dr is that he's from the end of the Advent Children movie, canon-wise. But my Cloud comes from over a year's worth of game CR at Prismatica. He's the same at his core, but he's become more open and prone to dry sarcasm/humor. Boy's a softie at heart who tries to be cooler than he actually is. But he's still pretty freaking cool when he fights.

Magic & Familiar: Elemental Magic & Chocobo Chick familiar.
Desired CR: I'm down for just about anything and everything! Minus romance. I'd love a rivalry of sorts, be it in developing and competing with magic or swordfighting. Cloud doesn't have his super strength anymore so he's learning new techniques to compensate! Otherwise, gimme friends, enemies, frenemies, whatever tickles your fancy- we'll work with it!
Known Plans: I plan on creating a March catch-all for Cloud in the next couple of days taking stuff from the TDM! I've been keeping a low profile with him in-game (my story for him in Avalon so far is that he's been laying low for most things and focusing on his training with elemental magic and adjusting to a new style of swordplay.) So I want to get him out there more, especially now that Cloud figured out others from his world are here.

I've also got my eye on the Snagglefoot quest, which would be fine to play out! I could work with the other quests too. Cloud's a doofus who can get roped into a buncha situations.

Info: GOODNESS.

A nerd, heiress (former), and tsundereice queen in one tiny girl. She's a Huntress from a kingdom called Atlas who once just wanted straight As in school, but now is travelling the kingdoms to save the world from ruin.

If she's not fighting monsters, she's either fawning over dogs or probably babysitting because BABIES ARE SO DAMN CUTE. Or in the library, arranging the books the way they should be. She's also a good singer and plays the piano!

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic Magic. Her familiar is a giant knight in shining armour called the Arma Gigas.

Desired CR: Weiss doesn't actually have a lot of friends right now, but I would like for her to make some! She lives and works at a farm where she manages the people and is trying to learn how to take care of plants and flowers. She's in the city at least every day to look around, do deliveries for her landlady, or look for books and other things to pass the time. Please let your dogs be friends with her.


Known Plans: I do want her to get discovered as a singer at some point! I've also asked the mods if one of the farms mentioned in the quests can be where she lives/works, so if you wanna do something with that, let me know! 'u'b

Canon: Baten Kaitos
Info: 16-year-old JRPG boy from a colourful card game fantasy setting, with the questionable common sense to match. Cheerful, naive and decidedly slow on the uptake, to the point that you might expect him to be a little younger than 16. Also a former child soldier and escaped lab experiment who hears a voice in his head constantly and is really bad at keeping his internal monologue internal, but this is fine! Tends to temporarily manifest big bird wings when stressed, as you do.
Since online resources for his semi-obscure orphaned series are a bit thin, I have some basic character stuff on his game info page.

Magic & Familiar: Light || Afterling (a horrible tentacle demon from his canon, described in his info post)

Desired CR: As a character just apped in last month: anything! Sagi is easygoing enough to get along with most people on a surface level and isn't shy about interacting with older characters, but also lends himself to negative CR since he's naive enough to be manipulated and has a slow-boil temper on occasion. He personally makes friends easiest with louder / more outspoken characters than himself - he always believes the best of them, has nearly endless patience and can sometimes mediate them out of trouble - but relates hard to social outcasts in general. I would love to finagle a way for other characters to prod him about the lab experiment thing eventually, but he doesn't open up about that super fast, so for now I'd just like to go about establishing whatever groundwork CR we can come up with!

Known Plans: I would like to have him peek into all three of the normal quests this month, so I'm considering a catch-all log for that plus his ongoing struggles with magic. Since he's a typical JRPG protag type, it's easy to find excuses for him to show up basically anywhere. He has not been going to school, but is still somewhat motivated to study up on this world and its magic when not running everyday fetch quests off the phone app.

Canon: oc
Info: A very worlds-weary sorcerer whose job as a planeswalker for some celestials has her disconnected from making lasting connections nowadays. As an avid lover of fiction, she likes to imagine she herself has been "written out" of a narrative of her own and is kind of doomed to be some kind of NPC. Secret tsundere underneath the heavy layers of conceal-don't-feel she's got going on.
Magic & Familiar: Elemental. Familiar is a goat-sized unicorn.

Desired CR: All sorts, and she plays the role of hypercritical mentor/frenemy very well at this stage. She also plays off well as the cynic foil to another's sincere optimism, as well as the "UMMMM ACKSHULLY" book/magic nerd. Will work great in dynamics where she has to chew a bit of humble pie and let herself be more of the damsel than she likes, and even greater in cases where she needs to scrutinize another's motives and make them explain themselves -- so if you want to roast your char, bring 'em to her.

Known Plans: Her current key goals are to accrue a stable income and snag a meeting with the King because she does not buy the premise as a whole and demands more tactile proof. This'll mean doing tasks beyond her normal means (pour one out for her leveled spells) and...a need......for help....

Schmittchen | Toshirou Hijikata

Character Name: Toshirou Hijikata
Canon: Gintama

Info: Hijikata is the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi, the shogunate's special police force in Edo. Gintama is set in 19th century Japan, but aliens (collectively called Amanto) conquered Earth, so there's advanced technology and space travel. Genre-wise it's a mix of comedy and action (there are many silly episodes that parody other Shounen Jump series and such, but also serious arcs that can get very tense and dramatic). For more details on Hijikata I have my Prismatica application here. I always feel like I need to mention his mayonnaise addiction because it's so outrageous that it can really blindside people!

Since my Hijikata spent the better part of last year in prismatica he comes with some minor changes that mostly relate to how well he handles getting chucked into isleofavalon. His recollections of Prismatica may well come up in his threads (though chances are he'll keep it to his thoughts, because who would want to spring their odd experiences on an overly sex-friendly neon crystal planet on others?), but by all means feel free to opt out of that (or anything else) in his permissions post!

Oh, also he comes in anime and live-action variants! I generally default to the live-action icons for interactions with live-action characters and use the anime icons for all others, but if you have a different preference don't hesitate to let me know.

Magic & Familiar: Elemental Magic (Fire) & Crow Tengu

Desired CR: I'm up for anything!! Hijikata already made some great connections here that I'm enjoying a lot, and I'm open for any kind of relationships, be it friends or rivals or enemies or lovers or whatever else. What he misses the most is his commander (though he's kind of turned to King Arthur as a stand-in... he certainly is less of a headache to keep in like than Kondou-san) and his men (he doesn't have anyone to order around!!). He also misses the people he really connected with on Prismatica (some of them are here, but were taken from different timelines and don't know anything about all that), so he may get a little nostalgic over that ever so often.

Known Plans: I want to do so many things again this month! Regarding the TDM prompts Hijikata will participate in the Lesser Banishing of the Frost Fairies! He'll have no chill regarding the moon rabbit kits trying to invade his home, so if a stranger wants to help him throw them out and/or perform the ritual with him, please be my guest! I don't know what sort of duel to propose to the fairies yet, but Hijikata likes them (they even gave him a disco ball last month), so he wouldn't want to harm them. Due to questionable events involving dragons back on Prismatica he'll initially want to avoid the Language of Flowers prompt, but it's a dangerous route to the Ash Mountains, so he'll ultimately be willing to accompany someone (and help them attain the flowers beforehand)! Does anyone want to see this chain smoker in a garland? As for the Spiritual Cleansing, he'll avoid the yoga parties like the plague, but I'd love him to drink one of those magical smoothies! Sadly he'll rather volunteer for any kind of danger than for a fruity treat, so it'll take a bit of convincing (or maybe it can be a dare, assuming they figured out the side effects). This also goes for the No Work All Play prompts... this man needs to be forced to have fun, pretty much.

As far as this month's quests go Hijikata will take on the more dangerous ones (and yes, despite being a policeman he's totally going on the dark web): Run Snagglefoot Run to catch the jewel thief, Don't Lose Your Head to smuggle the mystery package into Celliwig (and he may well run the quest haywire because he always wants to get to the bottom of things...), and Greg Gonna Get Ganked to beat the snot out of a goblin.

Info: An outwardly sweet, but sassy and street-smart young woman who often plays the part of moral support and tower of strength. She has something of a tragic history and is somewhat aware that what awaits her is a tragic future as well. Back home, she has some rare abilities being the last of her people, and struggles with holding onto the things that are dear to her.
Magic & Familiar: Healing / Cerulean Drake

Desired CR:
- From negative to positive and everything in between.
- Aerith can get along with a great number of people and tends to be a pretty optimistic individual, which others may either find endearing or annoying. She's friendly, warm, and welcoming, even to the more brooding and stoic individuals.
- I like me some good antagonists for Aerith to subtly butt heads with. They don't even have to be antagonists. I really enjoy CR with people who cause Aerith to challenge the way she perceives things. (...I just enjoy CR in general.)
- I'd like more opportunities for her to have more serious conversations with people she trusts or feels a little closer to. She spends so much time supporting others that she doesn't really act like she needs something like that for herself, but she likely does.
- Maybe one day in the future we'll get to do an overall plot where she could actually use the white materia that came with her. It only has one use and right now she doesn't even know she can use it. (She just assumed she can't and has been sort of treating it as a memento from home to hold onto and be sentimental about.)

Known Plans:
- I'm planning to put up a catch-all for the month at some point tomorrow containing a variety of prompts, that... I don't have a list of at this current moment, however... it'll probably have a prompt from our TDM, some of the monthly quest things on it, etc., etc.
- Aerith is still planning to open a florist shop when she has the means to do so, even more so inspired to do so when King Arthur told her that the castle would have use for them as well.
- She needs to practise a bit more with her healing magic. It doesn't quite work the way it did back home and she'd like to be able to help her friends when they need it.

What Emet really needs are bullies: people to bully him into playing nice with others.

And sure! If you're planning some kind of top level or quest, I can have him drop by? He's...got a lot of free time. Don't let him spend all of it napping.

Here be spoilers. A student at Hope's Peak Academy, a school that collects all of the most talented high schoolers from across the country and beyond, assigning them 'Ultimate' titles based on what they are the best-of-the-best at. Mukuro here is the Ultimate Soldier, having worked as part of an elite Mercenary group called Fenrir as a teenager - but she returned to Japan to attend Hope's Peak and help her younger sister (and Ultimate Fashionista) Junko end the world with the power of despair. Oops.

As part of her sister's plans, she was posing as her in the killing game Junko set up in their school. Only problem is, her acting is atrocious, she knows nothing about fashion and can't help but nerd out about weapons and military stuff. She's a loyal, devoted bodyguard with a basically non-existent self worth thanks to her sister's abuse.

Anything and everything! Positive CR/Negative CR/romance, ideas are all good.

I'm greatly enjoying the relationships she's building at the moment, and continuing on that is all good fun. People she can quest/spar with or who she can try and fail to talk fashion with yes please.

She has a couple of people now who know she's not who she says she is, which is a welcome relief - she needs people she can open up to. And commander types she might latch onto who are not-Junko.

Known Plans:
Mukuro is kinda torn between hammering down on playing the role of 'Junko Enoshima' and being herself, so is thinking about setting up a fashion show. Despite having no idea what she's doing. Please help her this is going to be a disaster.

This clash will probably lead to a breakdown at some point, as was seen in the Fisherking mess, but haven't entirely worked out when/how that happens.

Otherwise, she'll be questing - I'm looking at the Sir Fuzzlerton and Thieves quests for her. And she will be very sad that she can't keep Sir Fuzzlerton because she wants a precious pet bunny. She's always happy to pitch in and help out with other quests if you want to rope her into something though.

Volatile, manipulative sorceress from Ancient Greece summoned as a Caster-Class Servant to fight in a magical war between Magi in the present day. Known as the witch of betrayal, and makes herself look the part with her suspicious looking dark cloak and secretive manner, will resort to underhanded and outright evil tactics to get her happiness. She's really, really bad at not playing herself off like evil-incarnate, but overall she just wants to go home to her partner and have a happy ending as his wife. In Avalon, she wants to try and learn all about all the new magic and rituals ever.

She's making friends and has no idea how to deal with people who genuinely like her. What is this. How do you friendship??

She can be a little prickly to get on with, but if anyone does need help with their magic, I'd like her to play mentor a little more. And/or just be an awful influence, she may be one of Fate/'s most powerful mages, but she's not always the best source of advice.

She likes people she can debate with or who are stubbornly friendly - but negative CR, new friends and people she can be evil with/manipulate are all good. Only thing I'm not after for her is romance, as she's loyal to her partner back home.

Known Plans:
A few people found out her true name in the Fisher King shenanigans, but she's still struggling to get over the idea they're not in a war and it doesn't need to be a secret anymore. Either way, she had a very busy Feb so will be taking things a little slower this month.

She wants in on some of the Dark Web quests - in particular the smuggling quest - and wants to learn how to brew her own wine as per TDM. Longer term she wants to go into potion making and open a little potion shop, so people who can study with her are always good.

Desired CR: He's pretty devoted to a girl back home so shipping won't happen though he may playfully flirt with people his age anyway. He's completely new so he needs some friends, enemies and teachers who could show him more about the local light magic.
Known Plans: No hard plans since he's new. Right now he's figuring things out. Since he was pulled from a traumatic moment in canon he's felt very overwhelmed and is slowly adjusting.
