Character Name: Hendrik
Canon: Dragon Quest XI
Info: Thirty-six years old, Hendrik is one of the two generals of the Kingdom of Heliodor, famous for his strength and heroism over a knightly career of twenty years. Kind, well-meaning, but also unobservant and stubborn, he's the picture of a blindly loyal knight.

He actually arrived in Heliodor as an orphan in his youth after his own home country was destroyed by monsters in one night, the king of Heliodor taking him in to join with the other young knight apprentices. Jasper was the only one of the other trainees his age, and they became friends following a tragic incident within their first year of training.

On the brink of their teenage years, Hendrik and Jasper were sent abroad to different countries to continue their knight training. Hendrik was sent to Puerto Valor, where the head instructor Don Rodrigo was famous for training exceptional knights. Clumsy and something of a crybaby, Hendrik persevered through his lessons by staying up in the evenings to catch up with his peers.

By the time he returned to Heliodor around age 16, he'd started growing into what would be his towering height of 6'6" (200 cm), and he would continue his service to Heliodor as a full-fledged knight, being promoted to general after the tragedy of the Kingdom of Dundrasil around the time he was 20 years old.

He comes to Avalon after several months worn down by another tragedy, having spent a good amount of time chasing the Luminary and his companions under the false belief that the Luminary's existence would perpetuate the coming of the Dark One.

What is a platypunk exactly? A very confused little monster.
(I could gush about how cute they are, but I'll refrain.)
Desired CR: For Hendrik, I'm looking for friends, companions, and anyone who'd like to go on quests together! Any kind of CR would actually be fine, given Hendrik can also mentor if someone wants to learn or practice swordplay.
Known Plans: The quests for this month have looked really cute/hilarious, so I do want to get involved in them in some way. I don't have any set plans at the moment, though.
Other: Yes, platypunks can in fact quack. And hang by their tails like monkeys.
