Had he not been the hero of his canon, what do you think he would have done with his life?

He would have been a farmer living a rural life in Cobblestone. Eventually I'm sure he would have married Gemma, his childhood closest friend and left the village on small adventures since he has natural wanderlust.

I don't think he would be unhappy as a farmer. He genuinely loves Cobblestone and the people who raised him are good people.
