11th of the Fatui Harbinger’s, Childe just… He just is, okay. He does incredibly shady things very well, despite being outwardly friendly and charming. He also has an incredible soft spot for children, and lives for the thrill of battle above all else. He’s well aware he’s not a good person, but that's irrelevant in his pursuit of strength and power. He’s debatably a little feral, but just a little. (Or a lot, maybe.) He’s also used to having ridiculous amounts of money available and being a bit of a sugar daddy. This is important information. As far as within the context of Avalon, I’m not sure about what magic to do for him - I’m torn between recreating his canon abilities or going for something that’s entirely different from what he could do before, just to spice things up. (Dark magic is like.... The antithesis of who he is, because he prefers to do things head on and on an equal playing field with no subterfuge involved, so it’s incredibly tempting, and bargaining or death magic could be fun!! So I'm torn.) I'm also not sure if anyone else is interested in bringing him in or not, because if so I'd be willing to bow out!! I just love this bastardman and this game, haha.

Eustace

Granblue Fantasy

Eustace is your typical silent, stoic lone wolf who can be tough to approach at times but friendly once he warms up to others. And he loves dogs. Really loves dogs. His ideal is to live a life filled with peace and quiet, and so he fights to protect not only his peace but others as well. Known as one of the top elite members of the Society organization, he is skilled with guns, short blades, and grenades with his favored weapon being a special rifle that can unleash lightning.

So the most recent anniversary event has gotten me hyped up again and Avalon looks like it would be a good fit for his character type. I'm considering giving him Animal magic so that he can communicate with his beloved dogs as well as be able to transform into them. With the secondary magic, I'd also be looking at Element magic so he can eventually regain some of his lightning element as his weapon would not be able to produce it while in Avalon. For his familiar it would be a white snow wolf, which was initially just a fun idea before the event hit but now really has me excited for reasons.

As for what I'd like to do in the game, mostly just to get him to branch out and develop close CR with anyone! Even though he can be quite the aloof grump, when he's sweet he's sweet, especially around kids. Since his canon point would have to be before the recent Home Sweet Moon event, he'd be a little tense at first since, well, he's being pulled from before a giant operation which includes trying to get to the moon. But because this event is something like a "final" arc for the current Society plotline and he has a big character focus at the end, I'd canon update him post-event relatively quickly so he can be a bit more relaxed and open to others. Regardless, ultimately I'd like for him to just actually make connections and be less closed off. He's been making progress, but he's at a good development point and there's still room to grow!

Every game needs a grump who secretly cares way more than he lets on and maybe probably kinda has a death wish, right? (Also I hear Aki's around the joint and god knows he won't take care of himself without someone to knock some sense into him. XD) This is a pretty tentative consideration on my part, but it's a consideration nonetheless. If I spring for it, he'll be Synodiporia CRAU, the better to keep some Working Through Of Issues And Also Not Having Chronic Persona Suppressant Damage Anymore that happened there. Thanks to Syn he'd chalk up the cast differences to More Timeline Bullshit. It's a thing that happens. Important Side Note: Has anyone brought Koromaru in yet? If not, Best Doge can tag along.

Seoya is a spoiled-sweet heiress, a crossbow archer and notably an anomaly among her magic-rich social class for her low abilities in magic. Thankfully, the inability to do anything more complicated than magically change her hair colour didn't stop her from joining her friends on their post-graduation trip around the country, getting a taste of the adventuring lifestyle.

Of course, when you're regularly described as having more money than God, it can be pretty easy to traverse not only the whispers and rumours about your true parentage but the rough and tumble countryside which houses all kinds of fantastical monsters. At least, up until the point you and your friends get a little too keen to take on a big challenge and you unintentionally unleash an old chaos god from where it was sealed, killing three of your comrades.

But that aside, she's really just a good time girl who loves history, plants, and trying out anything fun in her leisure time. She has this amazing thing called healthy esteem, who knew that was even a thing? And I am most likely going to give her Dark & Green magic with a Mimic-type familiar. She would be all over the noble quests and ready to make friends and spend the money she does not yet have!

... Someone might want to tell her that her credit cards don't work here.

i heard you guys are looking for purse owners so i'm here to offer you Fuuka. it's been like five years since i played her anywhere seriously so i'll have to canon review and figure out what i'm doing with my life, but! she's sweet, kind, if a bit shy and really good with tech! unfortunately, she is very bad at cooking. sometimes sacrifices must be made, but if you don't want to sacrifice yourself, don't let her in the kitchen. anyway it's like 1am so this isn't very coherent but here we are.

A charming, princelike salaryman at day, degenerate gamer chad at night. Itaru literally gets that capitalist bread just so he can whale in his gacha games which - you know, if it makes him happy. He's also found a newfound love for theater because he gets to act as his faves in his videogames and animanga so that's cute! Probably. He'd still call you a pleb if he finds out that you're a pathetic f2p though :/

I might app Itaru from after the Knights of the Round Table event (which is set to drop in a few days on NA, eep), but it might depend on whether I could app him from that right away since I already read the event in JP last year... If not, I can always get him from an earlier canonpoint, no pressure. His familiar will be a fairy because [REDACTED].

As for magic, man I can't really decide because Itaru can be a fuckin chuuni sometimes??? How cringe. Probably elemental magic (specifically water) or even kinetic magic for starters, but either way he'll definitely master technomancy once he gets there. In the end I just want to make his dreams come true because he's always wanted to be isekai'd, rip..........

The 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and the self-proclaimed versemonger of the darkest alleys herself! Hu Tao is carefree and very playful - too playful to the consternation of literally everyone in Liyue because of her penchant for pranks and her morbid sense of humor. She totally means well though? She's just trying to make a living by selling coupons for discounted funeral rites to anyone who might need it in the future. She did nothing wrong. :)

She'll have to master elemental (read: fire) magic first then move on to death magic (woooooo), and she'll have one of her ghostie friends as her familiar! I will say that she needs more voicetesting tho before I could really decide on apping her into the game fr but... IDK it just seems fun to put her in this setting.

Sailor Moon

Here it is, the codifier of the magical girl genre as we know it today and many a fan’s gateway series to the world of anime and manga: the one named Sailor Moon! And if you’re canonblind: basically an ever-growing group of space princesses reincarnated on Earth become superheroes and fight evil by moonlight. Currently our cast features just Usagi Tsukino (Nea) and Makoto Kino (me, LWP!), both from the manga version of the series from the end of the Stars Arc, with Usagi featuring some CRAU as well! Honestly, we would just plain love anyone from the series: any of the fellow senshi, Mamoru, the cats and other allies, civilians, villains, manga, 90s anime, crystal, live-action, any canon point, you name it! If you have a muse for them or are thinking of making that journal you’ve always dreamed of, definitely come try us out!

Machias Regnitz

Machias Regnitz is a teen from Thors Academy, specifically from Class VII. A very unique and unheard of class that had been prototyped the year before where instead of having classes strictly for commoners and nobles, Class VII mixes them together. He didn't like this because he had a super high hatred of nobles due to reason that are spoilers for his character arc. Needless to say, he gets better! He's definitely got a temper around that subject though, he loves coffee, he's very studious and has very high morals. A bit of an overachiever, despite his hostility towards nobles, he does indeed care for everyone in class VII. Yes, even you Jusis... (not that he'd say that out loud lmao). Needless to say, he's actually very humble and cares a lot about his fellow man (especially commoners).

Also, his weapon of choice is a friggin' shotgun. Machias, stop being so extra???? It's got healing capabilities so lmao He'd definitely get Healing and Technomancy as his magic here.

THAT BEING SAID, I'm actually only in the middle of Cold Steel 2, so I'll likely take him from the end of Cold Steel 1 and update him later once I've finished. I don't mind spoilers as I am impatient and already looked a lot of them up lol But I won't spoil anyone else if they don't wish it be. Also, this is pretty tentative, but I at least wanted to put some feelers out there. I'll poke the TDM, but unsure if I'll app this month or the next, but we'll see! I'm definitely excited to try him out though.

For canonblind folks, well... card games with acrobatics, motorcycles, a dimensional war, four girls with the same face, four boys with the same face, four dimensions, four dragons, and copious amounts of suppressed emotions.

Currently I’m the only one here from my cast with Yuzu Hiiragi, but I’m always down for some castmates! Any of Yuzu’s counterparts (Ruri/Rin/Serena) would be greatly appreciated as well.

Historically, a guy mainly known for rebelling against Oda Nobunaga and destroying his teapot so Nobu couldn't have it. This one though...

He'll tell you he's the sengoku era's greatest villain and while that's debateable within the context of the series, the role of sengoku era's biggest ham isn't. Matsunaga loves being evil. He loves scheming, he loves plotting, he loves telling you he's doing both of those things and he's willing to cut an evil scheme short if it's become too cliche. He has kind of an interesting take on the whole villany thing though; he feeds some starving peasants at one point because "Justice means those who cannot work to earn their place in society should starve and die, so as a villain I reject it!". He's weird...anyway, I cannot actually guarantee what he'd decide to do once he's in game, but considering in the most recent crossover game all his levels involve him scheming against the protagonists after he's joined them and he never once features in the main story actually being helpful....he'd probably just be a nuisance every day. I'm not 100% on app'ing yet, but I'd like to TDM!

Keiji Maeda

Keiji's a little simpler to explain than Hisahide; he's a vagabond who loves to fight! That isn't necessarily all there is to him, but a lot of his decisions are made based around what can get him punching dudes and maybe even being punched back sometimes. When he isn't doing that though, he's actually pretty into arts and literature the same as his historical self, so painting and writing, and even kept his own diary depicting his day to day life. Keiji can be hotheaded and sometimes gets restless to the point he'll pick fights, but he's generally a pretty charismatic and affable guy, often the person people around him ask for advice when they're stuck on what to do, if only because Keiji's fairly simple approach to life can make a complicated problem more straightforward. Just like Hisahide, I definitely want to TDM but don't know about app'ing just yet!!

An idol reverse-harem anime (originally a visual novel, also a mobage) that starts with 6 guys, evolves into 11 and then it's suddenly 18 (7 being anime only). And there's still just one of the main girl.

We have several different personalities, nice side characters and great music. The story itself is your basic they make a debut and then try to survive the idol industry type of a thing where we also see them do other things than just singing.

I play Ren who is part of the original 6. He hasn't seen any of his band mates in over six months. Last month he was joined by Camus from a rival band, however. Both are anime side.

Sidon is the prince of the Zora. Excitable and enthusiastic, he represents a youthfulness that irritates the elders of his kind. Though he can be impulsive, Sidon does things that he believes will deliver the best outcome for his people such as searching for a Hylian to help them with the threat of the Divine Beast Vah Ruta despite the elder Zora not wanting any outside assistance (and especially from a Hylian). The only thing that makes him uneasy are storms (lightning and thunder), as a shock could be lethal. Nevertheless, this doesn't stop him from assisting Link in any way that he can, which includes acting as a 'vehicle'. He's someone who will put his heart into anything--- directly or indirectly. He's the biggest cheerleader!

A Myumon (read: 10% furry) idol who is at the top of his game at all times and is totally not a workaholic! The lead vocals and guitarist of the number one band Trichronika, Shuuzo is a bright and starry-eyed musician who is equal parts sparkles, determination, and hard work. That doesn't mean he lacks being cutthroat when he needs to be, but he finds any form of cheating or foul play to be completely irreprehensible. Overall, someone who will be opportunistic when needed but can and will be kind to others, especially his juniors. Also he can be a real bitch. Yea.

Lorenz is a piece of work. Your first impression of the guy is probably that he's a snooty, classist fop who's far too occupied with the idea of being a PROPER NOBLE. And, to be honest? That impression isn't wrong, but there's a bit more to Lorenz than that, and his weird attitude is built on good intentions. He's keenly aware of the pressures put on nobility, and strives to live up to it, and he believes that nobles should strive to be, well, noble of character. But even if he has good intentions, his fixation on being NOBLE can wear on the nerves.

I'm not sure what his magic or familiar would be, and I have way too many characters I want to app here. But I'm exploring options, you know.

Also, there's a part of me that wants to take him from the Azure Moon route instead of the Verdant Wind one just to be different. ~~Because AM is the best route.~~

Dragon Quest XI

Dragon Quest XI is the latest in the long running Dragon Quest series but you don't need to have played the other ones to enjoy it. It's a fairy tale adventure that might not have surprising twists but does have a very tight and emotional narrative. The story touches on themes of forgiveness and revenge and puns. So many puns.

Our cast includes Hendrik, Jade, Jasper and the Luminary, all from Act II (Jade is from the end while all others come from the beginning.). We'd love Erik, Rab, Serena, Sylvando and Veronica.

Bean (Julian Delphiki)

Bean is the smartest person on his Earth, and a decorated war veteran... And he's only seven years old. He knows at least six languages, and taught himself to read four of them before he ever received any formal schooling. He's a little smart-ass who doesn't have much patience for incompetent adults who think they should be in charge just because they're older than he is. He's incredibly observant and intelligent-- in fact, he's the product of a genetic experiment designed to unlock humanity's true potential to become as intelligent as possible. Unfortunately, the tradeoff for his intelligence is the curse of a shortened lifespan. But... he doesn't know about that yet. All he knows is he knows things that no one else knows, or is even capable of knowing. He has an instinct for survival sharper than any prey animal, and a ruthlessness that would put any predator to shame.

If I bring him into game, I'm considering magic options like cognitive, animal, and tech magic. Assuming they're still available, I'll probably give him a dragon or pseudodragon familiar.

Bean comes with content warnings for: child soldiers, child homelessness, murder, war, xenocide (genocide of aliens), and... a terrible, homophobic author (but we try to ignore him).

Josuke Higashikata

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable

Josuke is a big old anime protagonist who likes money, fashion, hanging out with his friends, and striking dramatic poses. He comes from a small town in Japan and hasn't really traveled outside of that town at all (aside from going to the hospital in a nearby city when he was sick once as a child). He doesn't really have any desire to leave his hometown, despite the fact that 1) his father is from America, and 2) his town is full of ghosts, aliens, and psychotic murderers. Well... one psychotic murderer.

If I bring him into game, I'm probably going to give him healing magic. Undecided on a second choice, or a familiar.

Zidane Tribal

Final Fantasy IX

Hey there, new potential person ahoy if you don't mind, Avalon.

An actor, a thief, a flirt, and a hero, all rolled into one mischievous package with a monkey (or cat if you really want to debate) tail, Zidane Tribal is one of the protagonists from that Final Fantasy with a cute art style only to ambush you with war, death, and existential dread among other things. Meanwhile, Zidane does his best to keep things light-hearted and exciting while also trying to help everyone out if he can because that's just how he's decided to live. There doesn't need to be a reason to help people other than you can even if your birth says otherwise...

Though I'm still on the edge of actually going through with apping, I am eyeing Kinetic Magic and either a Chocobo or Moogle as his familiar.

Vaan

Final Fantasy XII

Vaan is(???) the protagonist of Final Fantasy XII who essentially kinda accidentally'd his way into the main story lol. Okay, okay, he's actually a decoy protagonist but that didn't stop him being popular enough (in Japan) to get put into Dissidia. ANYWAY, he's you're average street urchin. Thieving to get by, eventually becomes a Sky Pirate, and also helps free Ivalice from not only the control of the gods but from a neighboring kingdom bent on basically taking over the world. He's kinda stupid, kinda impulsive, but ultimately a good kid who was just trying to do his best.

Magic will likely be elemental and technomancy, familiar is a Firemane, obviously shrunk down to size lol.

This is tentative, just like Machias, but I miss the boy so I figured I could throw him up here.

Voltron: Legendary Defender

Voltron is a wartime space drama featuring giant mecha robots, ancient magic powers, and the greatest weapon of all — found family. It's a wild ride full of action and adventure, interspersed with wacky alien hijinks and some truly great comedy.

Also, yes, the rumors you've heard about the notoriously bad eighth season are true. But... it's okay! That's why we have RP. This can be our fix-it fanfic.

We currently have Keith, Pidge, Matt, Shiro and my own Princess Allura! So naturally we're looking for the remaining two Paladins — Lance and Hunk! Other great characters would be:

King Alfor and the royal advisor Coran, because Avalon needs ALL the royalty
Speaking of royalty, baddies like Zarkon, Lotor, and Honerva might have fun with the new Dark Web missions, or could use this second chance to redeem themselves

A college student that discovers the "Otherside" a place that is full of the paranormal and well monsters that form from internet myths and scary stories. Sorawo has a right eye that has been altered thanks to the Otherside and an attack from a monster known as "Wiggly wiggly" that allows her to see true forms of these creatures and makes them take damage from attacks.

She's very shut off from people but loves urban myths and things that spawn from stories told over time. So she'd be very happy to see how this set of myths plays out. I think it would be fun for her to try and make new friends and solve some mysteries. I'd most likely take her from the end of novel 2 which is what the anime covered.

DUN DUN DUN Enter one bird-themed heroine! GATCHA~!

Hajime is a eccentric teenage girl with a big obsession for stationary and collage. Arts are her thing; Scissors are her game. Give her anything paper-craft related and she's more then happy then to spend time making cute and colorful things. Obviously she loves cute things too! Be it things or cute people, she will easily squeal over them. Hajime doesn't have the slightest worries about social norms. She does have some odd mannerisms and can be a bit loud but over all just wants everyone to have a good time together.
She is very easy-going and seems to go by the beat of her own drum.
While she can listen to and follow instructions, it is hard for her to not get distracted by her own ideas/ideals. She has a tendency to think outside of the box and is known for her extremely positive outlook on life. There's not much that can get her down! Speeding car almost hitting her? Well maybe there's a pregnant lady in labor or someone is really sick and needs to get the hospital ASAP. You never know! A dangerous alien is making people go missing all over town? Well obviously they can not communicate well and need to be reach out to!

Hajime is a bit of an odd ball of the Gatchaman team. There's limitless energy here and she's more than happy to help with whatever and lend an hand when needed. That's what heroes do right? It's not always about fighting bad guys or protecting a city.

Avalon would amaze her along with all the different kinds of people within it. Magic wise still deciding but leaning towards Elemental or something of the sort. Leaning towards her familiar possibly being an alien cube
