It's the 5th and I'm a little late! Oops! Still, it's time now for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. I typo'd in my last comment to you and it's destroying me.

You sound like me. I had to step back work-wise in March and as of the end of last week just got back into a reasonable schedule and am quite ready for all of the things. I wasn't planning on doing an open / catch-all for Aerith this month, but would be more than happy to do a closed log with Balthier, or if he has an open log somewhere (or inbox, whatever the case might be), I can hit up there, too.

I'm flexible, so whatever's more convenient for you!

those are the kinds of typos that haunt us forever, I have done this too

He doesn't have anything open at the moment, but I am planning on getting caught up tomorrow and then looking at doing closed stuff and tagouts, so we could easily throw them together on a quest of some sort! He will probably end up with a closed catch-all and then maybe an open network thing later on in the month, but I'm also really flexible, so whatever Aerith would be interested in, we can make it happen!

If there is a specific quest that tickles her fancy we could do one of those, he's so new that he's pretty much taking any opportunity he has to learn more about the world and find a way to carve out a niche in it. Also, prepare for a lot of complaining about being grounded, he hates not having a ship.

As for quests... (I had to go read them again because I'd only skimmed them before.)

Aerith is definitely not a combat sort unless she absolutely has to be and she's tended to play support / healer whilst in Avalon. In the past quests, she's done a lot of assistance quests, so with that in mind...

- She probably would get involved with the relocation of the Humilibees and I'm sure regardless of how that turns out, it could be amusing and agitating at the same time.
- The spider one has me intrigued (but it's probably because I actually like spiders), though I imagine Aerith would either end up in some kind of unfortunate distress or she'd be playing healer (quite possibly could wind up doing both of those).

Let me know your thoughts and if either of those might work for you / Balthier! (If it helps, she's the sort to persuade others into things, even dangerous situations. Last month, she talked multiple people into squaring off against dragons just so she could get some flowers. Balthier is never safe around her.)

God, he never will be safe, he likes to pretend he is only out for himself and his own interests but he can't help helping people because he is stupidly soft underneath all that theatricality.

Humilibees would be fun, I would be down for that! It's not like anything else he has on his agenda at the moment so we can potentially have them meet by just having incidentally taken the same job or perhaps being assigned together?

I love the idea of them getting paired together for assignment. Aerith will get along with almost anyone, so to her it'll be like a walk in the park. This is a win-win situation. Hope Balthier is ready to save some bees.

I tried to make some kind of pun about him being sweet as honey, but it's just not happening. (Aerith can be the sweet one, it's fine.)
