It's the 5th and I'm a little late! Oops! Still, it's time now for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Info: Dust is what happens when the souls of a teenage boy and a professional assassin get glued together by magic to create an ultimate warrior. Dust took out an army, killed the genocidal general leading it, and then took a swim in the lava. Now he's here, dealing with a life that isn't literally constant battle and adventure and doing a little bad at it!
Magic & Familiar: Elemental/Siphon, Quetzalcoatl

Desired CR: Dust has met a few people who have helped for him out of wallflowerdom, and that helps him immensely, but he can always benefit from further constant pressure to get anywhere close to normal. The guy doesn't even sleep indoors! Fellow adventurers to help go out and hit things with swords are always good, as are fellow adventurers who don't hit things with swords but cover literally everything else involved in adventuring.


Known Plans: First, Dust intends to take on the light-side quests whenever possible, so he always needs a partner to go out there and get it done with. That's an ongoing thing, not just this month! Second, thanks to a mask and its magic, Dust has developed a little hint of confused emotions towards Momo that anyone with any experience in life would recognize as a crush, and as a consequence he's going to be trying his best to process that. Poor guy could really use a life coach.

Info: A centuries old, world-wandering sorceress who has buried options of a fulfilling personal life to support maintaining multi-planar balance. Shockingly, being locked out of multi-planar maintenance due to a multi-planar disturbance means she's stuck dangerously close to having a fulfilling personal life? What the fuck.
Magic & Familiar: Elemental, blood. Goat-sized unicorn, very snooty.

Desired CR: Always a slut for shipteasing and emotional warfare, but also super in the game to be a bitter mentor to you younguns running around. People to be flippant or flighty with 100pct welcome, and anyone who just likes getting judged.

Known Plans: Once I get the conclusion of her audience with the King, Cecelia will be in possession of a means to see the calamity -- which she can share with two others? It's looking that way! Granted, she's going to be VERY PICKY about this so get ya judgments in B)

Info: a bloodthirsty, chaosmongering war devil whose primary motivations are, in no particular order:

1. Chaos
2. Chaos
3. Is this person useful in helping me spread chaos?
4. Raging against the ordering forces of the cosmos for sentencing him to an existence of pain and suffering.
5. Chaos

It isn't so much that he hates peace and quiet as it is that peace and quiet make him feel like he's going to die.

He tends to present himself as a cold, aloof and soft spoken man but it doesn't take much interaction to learn he has emotions. A lot of them, in fact. All of them even and as a being of chaos he experiences his emotions at 300% intensity. He's not at all likely to get sad and cry in front of you but he is likely to get sad, get confused over the fact that he's sad, get angry over the fact that he's confused and then stab you all in the span of 0.5 seconds. Yeah, he's one of those.
Magic & Familiar: Healing Magic (Primary), Death Magic (Secondary), familiar is a bone dragon. A smaller version of the type of dracolich his old servant was.
Desired CR: Yuber is bound to be a source of negative CR for most people due to his love of ultraviolence. He's already committing murders against random NPCs around the city. If you want a villain to chase or to murder your character Yuber is your man.

That said it is possible to get neutral to positive CR with him. He is actually very motivated to save Avalon and resolve this whole Excalibur problem since dead universes and/or universes with stopped time are not chaos friendly. He is willing to work with others towards this greater goal, especially if they are willing to put up with his tendency to kill people. He doesn't think of himself as evil, he thinks of himself as chaos, so people with complex, weird or non-human centric views of morality will get his respect more easily. Beings such as gods, spirits, demons, etc who lost a lot of power coming to Avalon will intrigue him since they might be going through some of the same things he is.

Also he needs help being human. I don't mean help getting a job, he's not ready for that conversation yet. He's still at the toddler phase of not knowing what a sleep schedule is and putting weird things in his mouth.
Known Plans: He needs to get involved in the Dark Web! He may go after the pirates in Salacious Sailors with murder on his mind but if he joins up with a group he'll do his best to control his "cravings" until the right time.

NOTE: Right now I don't do much tagging out with Yuber especially in in-person logs. He's the sort of character I'd rather not inflict on people who aren't interested. I try to do top-levels where I can but if you'd like him to tag into a log let me know!

Info: Louis is a 5'6", 104lb, bipedal deer. He was bought at the age of 3/4 by his father, a wealthy businessman, and it basically shifted his life around. He's a theater kid, former Shishigumi (Lion "Group"/Yakuza) leader, who also let his best friend eat part of his right leg. He comes across as kind of serious and intense, but he is also a big dumbass and don't let him trick you.
Magic & Familiar: Dark / Technomancy & Cwn Annwn
Desired CR:

✓ Friends: He can be hard to get along with, but his opinion isn't always irreversible. He's a little difficult.
✓ Coworkers: He's shifted his employment to work at Ren's Karaoke Bar; however, he does pick up shifts around random places sometimes.
✓ Found Family Types: THIS IS HARD MODE WITH HIM -- however, it is a long term desire of mine.
✓ Quest Buddies: Especially people who don't shy away from the Dark Web, as he is going to be doing these quests mostly right now.

✓ Quests: He's doing "Clue" & "Boxed In" both this month. I will be putting up top levels for them this week (it may be this weekend). But if anyone is doing these - I'm happy to take on several of the same. I'm also happy to hit up your posts if you already have one. He may also be enticed to the "Humblebees" if someone is looking for someone to do this with.
✓ Work: I sort of mentioned it but Louis is kinda hopping around working. he works in various locations because he's trying to pick up on whispers around these parts. If your character wants to notice he worked at two separate locations.
✓ Inbox Misfires: Want a weird, after a long night at work accidental text? Want a "he may have gone out with someone and had 2 drinks and is not in his right mind because he's a lightweight" text? Please let me know - and I'll drop something your way. Because he's not always super friendly, this might be a good way to start talking to someone new.

Other: As a warning for always, Beastars contains: predator/prey dynamics, engaging in eating one another, selling children as food. Getting to know Louis beneath the surface WILL touch on these and it means you are LIKELY to encounter spoilers. But look, he also doesn't love hugs? This is cute.

Info: if you've played this game, y'all know. if you haven't, to sum up, ovelia is a princess who is constantly used by almost everyone in her life and is a key player in the story of the game. also has depression. she'll be coming post her last scene in the game, adding an extra sprinkle of melancholy on top of it all. for god's sake please be her friend, she deserves nice things.
Magic & Familiar: Healing, her familiar is a Red Chocobo named Aigis

Desired CR: Honestly, she just needs more friends in general. She's still falling in and out of depressive voids, just losing chunks of time and energy to it as she spends a little too much time sleeping and doing Absolutely Nothing. Agrias helps a lot in that regard, but Agrias can't do the job of helping her heal from all that happened in canon on her own.
Known Plans: Among the quests, Boxed In seems to be up her alley the most, but it's kind of a "we shall see" thing. I'm down to have her go along with quests with anyone she has sufficient (aka they talked once) CR with!

Desired CR: Friendship is always good, mentor figures are always good, get this boy some friends, some pals, some potential mafia family members!

Known Plans: Tsuna got Green magic as his secondary type so we're gonna have some fun with that and supercharge some plants. Otherwise, he's going to be continuing to learn his magic and hopefully get better at some of his other elements.
I've been giving him a lot of trouble lately so maybe the chance for a bit of chill time would be good. Doing normal kid things would definitely be fun!

Info: little sister to Gawain, Agravain, and Mordred, niece to Artoria. Gareth is the youngest of the Orkney siblings, and fits into the class of Lancer in canon. She idolized Lancelot (despite, well. y'all know). she's energetic, tenacious, and said to be "like a wolf" in all things she does. she's also deeply kind, adheres to chivalry, and is always willing to help out and make a friend. just don't challenge her to a joust.

Desired CR: i'm still getting her out there, but she's done a few quests and is feeling out a place for herself in the game. namely would love fellow knights for her to bounce off of, "ladies" to be chivalrous at, and people she can bake for because damn she loves baking.
Known Plans: Both The Libirinth and Vital Venoms are right up her alley for questing. She's absolutely down to throw down with terrible beasties. She's also still looking for a way to properly recharge the Mana Shells her lance uses!

So okay.... hi. I feel terrible I have not been able to do much around here, but full transparency my health really went to hell right around the time I joined the game. I'm actually still recovering from a surgery I had related to it; I'm slowly getting better though (I think anyway LOL)! So I really would like to try my footing around here and get Ryne some CR and goals!

The only major thing I've been able to do was have her intro log, but unfortunately I dropped the ball on it. If you tagged into that, let me know if you want your character to remeet Ryne or handwave their meeting so we can work out the details! Again I'm so sorry, but it was kind of out of my control at that point.

Known Plans: I've decided on Zuko's sources of income finally, so he can stop suffering entirely as a pauper! Sending him to the public school so he can better his magic diligently and earn some money as a student, but also gain a "normal" teenage experience like his alien friends have had, having never gone to school before... he's rather curious.

I'm also taken with the idea of Zuko becoming an apprentice to a blacksmith so that he can learn to make swords. So if there's anyone out there who knows about swords-smithing, that'd be much funner than handwaving it with NPC, let's hook up!!

Otherwise no real plans. I've been out of my typical groove this past month and tryna get back in the saddle so not really planning too far out, but open to plotting about anything and everything!

She has something of an ongoing habit where she spends a lot of time worried about others around her, but not worrying so much about herself. (Or if she is worrying, she doesn't seem to show it much.)

🌺 Do you like plants? Do you wish you knew how to grow them better? Plants, plants, plants. Plants. - Aerith likes plants. Aerith grows plants. She can help you grow them too. Or you can just admire hers.

Info: Hawk is an overly aggressive, very fight happy sort of guy. He loves picking fights, he drinks a bit too much, he lacks social skills and he's got a tendency to master most things he attempts (except fighting, social skills and magic) so he tends to get bored easily. He also loves danger and acts recklessly. If people are running away from something screaming, he's grinning and excited because that sounds like his sort of fun and he's not capable of feeling fear. He's also very snarky and tends to say what's on his mind, not caring one bit how insulting it may be.

And for those that don't mind spoilers some other info: Also right before Hawk's canon point it was revealed to him that he's actually a homunculus of a hero who lived 500 years ago, which definitely isn't helping him with his issues pertaining to his life having no meaning. He also was revealed as being a Berserker, which gives him quite the edge in battle, but he's not fully able to control the negative parts of it yet.

Magic & Familiar: Elemental + Kinetic | Hawk spirit
Desired CR: I'm up for really anything positive or negative, but here's a few things I'm especially looking for:

-More fight buddies/rivals/etc. If your character is good at combat and uses swords/knives, he'd love to fight yours.
-People to be a bad influence on him, do dark web stuff, etc.
-People who are a good influence but won't lecture him about his behavior or push too hard to change him. This is a bit harder, but he's only going to open up if he feels comfortable around someone.
-People who can get him to do something besides fighting. If he can find things besides fighting and drinking to deal with boredom, this would be amazing for him.

Known Plans: Have a few things in mind in general

-Questing! Definitely want Hawk to get shrunk by bees and bit by spiders because he's stupidly reckless and tends to stab first, ask questions later. The library labyrinth could also be fun. Definitely would like to find some folks to do some quests with.

-Magic training. So he's pretty glad to have gotten kinetic magic. Definitely going to have him brave the rain to practice flying and some ideas for magical barriers. But Hawk is reckless, loves danger and seems to do better at using magic when there is a risk to himself. So this can only go poorly.

Hawk intrigues Chris, and she's not entirely certain what to make of him, but she feels in her gut that he's not as terrible as he makes himself out to be, and she wants to try to get him to realize that too. So definitely put her down for "good influence", which she'll try to be by example, since it looks like Hawk responds better to that.

Anyone in game should know by now that... Well! Bakugou is a very abrasive individual. He is very rude and can be disrespectful. Katsuki is loud and kind of prideful with a hint ( haha ) of obnoxiousness. MOST of this is actually a cover for his own insecurities. In more recent chapters, he's come to realize what a jerk he's been in the past and has shown a lot of growth. A part of him does feel like crap about it and wants to make up for it - he doesn't want to be that "loser" anymore. However, the anger is a defense mechanism and his primary go-to for any and all emotions. However, he is bright and clever. He's one of the brightest kids in his class and a complete nerd and dingus. Bakugou is just better at hiding it and can be pretty dang awkward. And he does this in spite of the fact that he actually carries a terrible streak of bad luck that seems to affect anything and everything he does, causing even the most mundane of tasks to take a turn for the worst.

Desired CR: Friends, mostly! Bennett deserves many friends because he's a good boy with a terrible life. And also he needs adventuring buddies, he wants to get an adventure team together someday and go exploring!
Known Plans: For this month, my big plan is that he's going to take his Wind Glider he recently regained out for a flight, to disastrous results as per the rules of his bad luck. He's also got some quests lined up with his best friend Razor and also a pair of lovely ladies.

More longterm goals are him accidentally stumbling into knighthood alongside aforementioned bestie and maybe not lighting himself on fire every time he tries to use fire magic.

Info: The leader of the Leicester Alliance as the Duke of House Riegan, Claude has been embroiled in a five-year long war, with his exploits earning himself a reputation of being a cunning strategist and master tactician. Not that you'd guess it just from talking to him, because he has an easygoing, laidback personality, and a tendency to lighten the mood by joking around.

Although he's friendly and sociable, it's hard for him to open up to others to trust them on a deeper level. Instead, he tends to keep anything about himself close to his chest, and he's not above manipulating others or taking advantage of situations to get what he wants. At the same time, he's intensely curious about others, and likes to learn as much as possible about lands and cultures that differ to his own. He's both deeply cynical and always plans for the worst, and at the same time, an open-minded idealist who tries to see the best in people.

Desired CR: Anything! Which is never helpful, but I wasn't kidding when I said Claude is curious about others. He's excited to be in Avalon to meet lots of people, so hopefully he can find CR who will indulge his thirst for knowledge :')
Known Plans: Spider venom quest! Exploring! Studying like a nerd! Practicing magic and/or potion brewing horribly gone wrong!! He's keeping himself out of (or in, depending how you look at it) mischief, if any of those ideas appeal for a potential thread.

Yuzu is a 14-year-old Action Duelist, meaning that despite the fact that she comes from a card-game anime, she's more physically capable and acrobatic than most normal people. She's something of a tsundere, though mainly a disaster when it comes to anything that makes her heart start beating fast in the romantic kind of way. Bi disaster? Bi disaster.

Sweet and kind, but has a temper that can be set off rather easily... which has more-often-than-not lead to some kind of consequence. She's typically the one to play the straight man in comedy routines, and she has a paper fan to smack people with when someone does/says something stupid. She's defensive and caring of the people she cares about, perfectly willing to go into arguments with anyone who insults someone important to her, uncaring of who they might be.

Info: A Prince of Steam Punk China who is super chill all the time because otherwise he risks losing his mind because of a curse he's under. If a model housewife can do it then so can he. He's super competent and he's working in a clinic because he has healing magic (and also blood magic now, yay?)

Desired CR:
- Friends closer to his age! His CR is mostly kids or teenagers and that's fantastic but some more adult CR would be nice too.
- Kids he can mentor? He doesn't get a lot of chance to do that in canon (minus one instance) but he's pretty good with kids. So like, letting him do that would be nice!
- People to please help curb his more self-destructive tendencies because...he has a lot of those. It's not the 'I'll recklessly run into danger because I don't value myself' sort so much as 'I will carefully weigh the risks before taking them except he doesn't value his own healthy and safety to the point that he would consider things like being stabbed as an acceptable risk'.
- People to talk about technology or politics or war.
- He's pining hard for someone so love advice or people who just wants to be on the sidelines witnessing this stupidity.
- ...I want to say negative CR but the worst he feels about people in general is 'apathy' (but that's no fun), but like...people who want to find him weird or dislike him while he just calmly smiles and continues to be polite would be fine with me too.

Known Plans: He's going to be playing with combining blood and healing magic. I also have quest starters here. Otherwise, I'm open to anything!

I love the dynamics that have developed with both of them and definitely want more CR between them all, but I'm growing especially fond of Zuko's dynamic with him in our meditation tent thread so far! Really promising stuff~ ☆
But his disposition compliments Miwako well too in ways, he reminds her of her ex-best friend/ex-first love whom she has a lot of romantic shit to work out about herself, so that's a built-in foundation for love talk anyway, easy segue hehe...

Info: Captain of the Zexen Knights, and second Flame Champion, just wrapping up her first month in Avalon after coming off the Second Fire Bringer War against Harmonia.
Magic & Familiar: Elemental/Siphon while her familiar is Holly, the Holly Elf.
Desired CR: Allies! Chris had the other five members of the Six Mighty Knights to advise and help her back in Zexen, and in the Fire Bringer that number grew. While Caesar and Geddoe are also here, and she's made a few promising starts with some other people, more capable allies she can work with and learn from are always a plus. She might be a knight, but criminal or shady behaviour isn't necessarily a barrier to cooperation; just be careful what you say or do and you should be fine!
Known Plans: This month, thanks to working with Claire and taking Holly's advice, Chris will finally get her feet under her with her Elemental magic and learn to become a spellblade, enchanting her weapons and armour with elemental properties to augment her combat skills; Flaming Sword and Ice Shield are going to be her two first successes. As far as her newly-acquired Siphon magic goes, she's not exploring that too deeply just yet, but I intend to have her become an anti-mage tank, locking down an opponent's magic, possibly culminating in the anti-magic field spell Don't, in which no magic will be possible (including her own). But that's a ways off yet. She and Claire will be going spider-hunting for a quest and I wanna see about her finally catching up with Geddoe, but other than that her plans are fairly loose. I know title-wise she's going for both Knight and Noble and will never once look at the Dark Web, so probably don't bring up that you do around her.

Her hobbies enjoy fishing (by blowing the fish out of the water), drawing, and looking for treasure.

Desired CR: Bring me your friendships and adopted sibling-ships! Klee is really easy to get along with, and while she can more or less take care of herself, she probably needs some supervision here and there. If you've got a grump that could use some sunshine in their life, she's great for dragging people out and about, too!
Known Plans: I came in last month guns ablazing, so I'm probably not going to be making any open posts just yet! That said, I'd love to have some quest buddies, or just someone that can help her practice her elemental magic - I've been playing around with the idea of her making multi-element bombs. Once she's gotten the hang of that, I want to start introducing her animal magic!
