It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Character Name: Yuber
Canon: Suikoden: Based on the novel 'Push' by Sapphire
Info: a bloodthirsty, chaosmongering war devil whose primary motivations are, in no particular order:

1. Chaos
2. Chaos
3. Is this person useful in helping me spread chaos?
4. Raging against the ordering forces of the cosmos for sentencing him to an existence of pain and suffering.
5. Chaos

It isn't so much that he hates peace and quiet as it is that peace and quiet make him feel like he's going to die.

He tends to present himself as a cold, aloof and soft spoken man but it doesn't take much interaction to learn he has emotions. A lot of them, in fact. All of them even and as a being of chaos he experiences his emotions at 300% intensity. He's not at all likely to get sad and cry in front of you but he is likely to get sad, get confused over the fact that he's sad, get angry over the fact that he's confused and then stab you all in the span of 0.5 seconds. Yeah, he's one of those.
Magic & Familiar: Healing Magic (Primary), Death Magic (Secondary), familiar is a bone dragon. A smaller version of the type of dracolich his old servant was.
Desired CR: For obvious reasons he's bound to be a force of negative CR for most people.

It is possible to get neutral to positive CR with him. He is actually very motivated to save Avalon and resolve this whole Excalibur problem since dead universes and/or universes with stopped time are not chaos friendly. He is willing to work with others towards this greater goal, especially if they are willing to put up with his tendency to kill people. He doesn't think of himself as evil, he thinks of himself as chaos, so people with complex, weird or non-human centric views of morality will get his respect more easily. Beings such as gods, spirits, demons, etc who lost a lot of power coming to Avalon will intrigue him since they might be going through some of the same things he is.
Known Plans: He's a known killer at this point. Other than that he is very vocally pro war and may get involved in some fire starting for Polite Pyro. NEXT month is going to be quieter for him because it's important to me that people get some Yuber-free down time.

NOTE: I do very few network tag outs with this guy and no log tag-outs without things being arranged ahead of time. He's not the sort of CR I want to just spring on people who might not be interested. So please, if he's someone you know you want tags from let me know!

I am always interested in the sort of CR for Irhya that is just begging for trouble! I don't know if he'd hold her little prank from the network against her, but I think she'd be willing to talk with him more. She has a lot of opinions that qualify as morally grey at best, so I'd be interested to see if they get along or not.

Has she ever dealt with Ascians? Yuber is pretty much completely an Ascian.

Very much yes. But I've found she actually bounces off even the belligerent types pretty well because she's sarcastic and talks a big game, so I remain optimistic! There will definitely be a dynamic there, even if not a friendly one in the end, but I enjoy negative CR as much as neutral or positive, so that is fine!

(If it helps: I'll note Yuber being like an Ascian goes deeper than just liking chaos and murder. His chaosmongering serves to tilt a cosmic force in his world called the Balance that is currently tipping towards Order. When Order dominates the Balance the world goes into the Ashen Dawn, a time with no colors or shapes or sounds where everything is so stagnant and sterile that life itself cannot exist. ....What I am saying is Suikoden and Shadowbringers were both written by Moorcock fans.)

CHAOS!!!!!!!!

You probably already know, but Nobunaga has taken a shine to Yuber and is basically like "If I can make Yuber use his chaos demonic energy for my goals, then I can do my fucking mission anywhere."

He will also invite Yuber to chaos up the military talks just because. Life is boring, make it fun.

He wants fun chaos always but come on Nobunaga imagine how fun a war could be!

XD If war comes, it comes. Oda doesn't see any need to start one, but then he has literally never lived when it couldn't exist soooo.... He just thinks it's inevitable! Like tides rolling in and the sun rising/setting. Even if he COULD try to stop it, SHOULD he? He assumes not. Just create superiority through SCIENCE AND HEDONISM either way.

I am down for Yuber and Adelle interactions!

There are some things that could come up with Adelle, re: Celliwig (or not) but I wanna just make sure you're not worried about Bravely Default II spoilers one way or another.

It will be a long while before I get around to Bravely Default II so don't worry about spoilers with me!

So Adelle is actually a fairy, and she's assuming a human form (which are identical due to power loss; she can just shift between human and fairy with wings, but no flying or magical sparkles). I was thinking of having this come out during the Celliwig stuff, and Yuber finding out seems like it could be interesting?

It could be! Yuber generally has a higher tolerance for non-humans.

Ooooh, yeah! It could be a set-up for things, then, it sounds like?
