Monthly CR & Plotting Meme
It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Canon: Persona 5 Royal
Info: Maruki is a kind, clumsy, and warm guy. The kind of guy who tries to get cats out of trees and doesn't think twice before offering his change to someone who says they don't have enough for the train. He's also a counsellor, eager to help people with their trauma, which is something he's noting as incredibly common around the people brought to Avalon.
He is also very much of the belief that all pain is useless and would be better off erased from the world, but surely nothing bad can come of this, right?
I will also link his permissions so people can get a better idea of what to expect, content-wise.
Magics & Familiar: Cognitive & Death Magic / Hastur
Desired CR:
— Maruki is, on the surface level at least, pretty easy to get along with! So positive CR is, for once in my life, quite a solid bet.
— People he can help! I am planning to gather enough Bonus AC to let him open a therapy business, but that won't be getting put into action until next month so until then... Bring me your traumatised and wounded so he can provide them questionably useful therapy!
— Also people who are interested in pushing the limits of the magic they've been given... cough. Maruki is very interested in seeing how much he can do and perfecting his magic, especially the cognitive stuff.
— People who will have a healthy amount of suspicion about his research because hoo boy. He is realising that, even if he helps everyone in Avalon, he can't help everyone in every world and That Is Bad.
— People who are interested in talking in depth about psychology and all the deeper topics. Let him ramble and discuss with you ;;.
— People who want to flirt with him and make him Awkward As Fuck. He is pretty much entirely emotionally unavailable and will be for a long time, but it would be fun to thread out the sheer awkwardness.
— He frequently hangs out in the library to learn more about Avalon and its magic, so if your character does too, we can totally assume a first meeting between them!
Known Plans: I'm planning on putting up an open log for Maruki in the next couple of days, but currently I'm interested in sending him on the Holo quest. Other things that will likely be in that log are library times, for researching the limits of Cognitive Magic (nothing can go wrong here), some general exploration and other slice of life things. And definitely something with his familiar since I realise I haven't used them at all yet.

Info: Grumpy former military from a world where science has made it possible for people to get powers via the ingestion of a pill, which was immediately snapped up by governments and bootlegged by drug dealers. She is cynical, stand-offish and despite it all, extroverted — just lost in bad habits formed after the murders of her parents. Basically thinks keeping her (adoptive) brother safe and provided for is the only thing she's good for any more. Restless, loves exercising and anything that can distract her from her own thoughts for a little while.

Magics & Familiar: Kinetic & Blood / Bean Nighe
Desired CR:
Kate's making a pretty nice contingent of CR, but I am always up for more! As a general overview, she is good for negative or snippy / argumentative CR, morally ambiguous shit, and honestly she is more invested in protecting the kids / teenagers of this place than she lets on. It is easy to run into her in a bar, running / doing parkour through the city or doing various quests, so if you want to handwave a first meeting or two, those are good options! Opposites attract CR, platonic or otherwise, is always fun with her, so I love throwing her against intelligent and / or optimistic characters.
More specifically and long term, I'm looking for:
— People she can trust and open up to. This is not an easy task for Kate, as her circle of "trusted friends" at home is really just her brother and one guy she was in the army with at this point. So if you're in the mood for some slowburn friendships? Gimme.
— Subsection: people who will worry about her, because she doesn't realise just how badly she's been spiralling the last few months and she will probably do something stupid sooner rather than later.
— Gym bros, so to speak! Kate does just about any physical activity that isn't swimming, so whether you wanna go running, do parkour, yoga, sparring, cardio, weights... She's here for it.
— Magic bros - I.E. fellow Kinetic and Blood Magic users. I have magic practice starters in her current open log for anyone who wants to do some magic training with her.
— Anyone over 18 who is up for a casual, fun and sexy time now and again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Known Plans: As mentioned above, I have an open log for her which includes magic practice, parkour and starters for the pyromania and incubabes quests. I'm also interested in the Party Rock quest, so if you want to do something with that, you can wildcard me or link me to your log so I can bother you!
Finally, I have a couple of long term goals! First, I want her to get the idea of a parkour training centre because she deserves to have a job she would actually like, so if anyone wants their character to learn parkour or otherwise plant that idea in her head, I'm here for it! Second, hoo boy, she hates Blood Magic sensing, so I'd love her to make more Blood Magic friends and maybe open up about why she hates it so much (tl;dr she had sensing powers at home and always hated them and Avalon finally let her be free of them).
Finally, I just want her to open up in general. Unfortunately that comes with a whole lorryload of trauma, so that is probably the longest of long term goals.
