It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

POISON
Canon: Poison (Chris Wooding YA novel)

Magics & Familiar: Alchemy & Bargaining | Atheris hispida
Desired CR: Poison really needs some friends. More importantly, she needs people who can be persistant enough with her to become her friends. She's not a bad person to be friends with but can come across as incredibly prickly and downright rejecting of company when someone first meets her, depending on the mood she's in. She's been through three different CRAUs now and though it's hardened her somewhat, it hasn't made her entirely closed off to relationships with people (as much as she might say it has).
I'd definitely love an opportunity for her to need to use the Bargaining half of her magic. She absolutely despises the way that fae will manipulate and use people and thinks anyone who believes they can be reasonable and honest is a frikken idiot who doesn't know what they're talking about.
I don't mind her getting some negative CR because her attitude is bound to rub people up the wrong way. I'd just note that unless said negative CR is challenging to her in some way she'd probably just end the conversation... because who has time for that?
Known Plans: She is going to have to reach out fairly soon because she is struggling to deal with this place on her own (not a reflection on the game but rather her own mental state/past history). Poison isn't getting involved with the quests (yet) because she has no desire to help this place out in any way, but I'm open to her being pulled into things accidentally by virtue of simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
That said, with the current events going on, Poison thinks that doing anything to actively try to anger the fae is the most ridiculous idea she's ever heard and the only reason she hasn't spoken against it is that every time someone says something like that she nearly rolls her eyes right out of her head. She'll be mucking in with the Honey Over Vinegar and A Balanced Approach side of things.

Magics & Familiar: Healing & Dark | Fischer's Lovebird
Desired CR: She's very outgoing and gregarious, so even if you think CR between them could never work... let's try it! Something I really want to do eventually is ship her with someone. Fight me. I want her to have something nice :V I'd also like her to have some kind of mentor for her powers, and for her to learn to use a weapon (she can use a couple of firearms, but that doesn't really count here). She's kind of learning how she can make herself useful again after having very passive abilities in MoM.
I'm also up for people who can challenge her. I'd also love for her to have opportunities to be kind to people who aren't used to kindness because it's really my jam and she's very good at it.
Known Plans: Jane isn't too much of a questy person but seems to be falling into the Assistance quests fairly accidentally. This month I'll be going for the Holo, Goodbye quest as well as plucking Honey Over Vinegar and A Balanced Approach prompts off the TDM. Going to war is a terrible idea. Who would even support something like that.
If anyone who happens to be going to the Giant Cave needs some healing I can have her be there for that, but please expect a lecture over just what the hecky heck you thought you were doing there.

THANATOS
Canon: Hades
Info: Info.
Magics & Familiar: Kinetic & Death | Three-headed hellhound
Desired CR: Thanatos is a tricky one, because he's Death (specifically the god of peaceful death)... and Death doesn't really get invited to or involved in anything. He shows up when he needs to and rarely when he's wanted. Even in actual ancient Greek records the only mentions of him in prayers etc are just to ask him to stay away because they knew that was the only thing he could really offer to them. He's pretty solitary and awkward socially, and in canon has a tendency to escape conflict by literally vanishing.
So, naturally, he needs a few people who will aggressively impose their company and friendship on him. He will hate it, but he will put up with it.
I'm also up for anyone who might know who he is within the Greek pantheon, as long as it isn't a fourth wall break because aside from his not understanding the concept, it just isn't something I want to get into with him. Any other gods here? Come to me.
Known Plans: War is bad. He will calmly and repeatedly state this to anyone that he needs to. So far he hasn't seen anything that concerns him except for a lot of aggressive flag-waving.
At the moment he isn't super involved in questing because he doesn't see the point in it, and he is still hating so much about being mortal THANKS. However I wanna do some fun things with him like trying 'junk' food (the boy's never had ice cream and it's terrible) and also just... enjoying having time to do the little things? Thanatos works all the time. We're talking the ULTIMATE WORKAHOLIC. Now he has all this time on his hands he's going a bit stir-crazy with it.
On a personal level, now that
his boyfriendZagreus and his twin brother Hypnos are roaming around he has realised he needs to be concerned about their safety and it is making him a mite twitchy.no subject
That, and she may sigh and go "fine, I guess I'll just have to befriend you" with enough conversation, if you want to see how it goes? Sit down and enjoy life some, silly immortal!
