Name: The Luminary (Eleven)
Canon: Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Familiar
Name: Tickety-Boo
Species: Tockle
Why did you pick this familiar for your character?: The Spirits of Lost Time, or Tockles, are a species of spectral beings that have a special connection to the Luminary in canon.
Special features: She glows, can turn invisible and can extend her noodly limbs out very far. When visible she is visible to everyone, unlike canon Tockles that are visible only to the Luminary. Since Eleven lost his Luminary powers coming to Avalon she needed to be in a state where he could see her.
How do they communicate?: She speaks! Often, openly and to anyone who will listen. Also sometimes she will speak to people who won't listen. She enjoys time puns.
Personality: Very friendly and outgoing but prone to nervousness.
Relationship with your character: Eleven and Tickety-Boo are very close friends and they live together but do part ways most of the day.

Magic
Magic Types: Light/Cognitive
Why did you pick these types for your character?: They represent the sort of magic the Luminary uses in canon: Light blades, barriers, seeing the past
How does your character cast their magic? Mostly by using his sword as a focus.
How does your character feel about their magic?: Good! Since they resemble his magic from home, Eleven is comfortable. He's still far from being a master at either light or cognitive but he is always eagerly training.

What magic and familiar would your character choose for themselves?: Light/Cognitive and a horse he could ride would be he is original answer. These days he enjoys Tickety-Boo too much to imagine ever having someone else as a familiar.
Anything else?: Fly-By-Knight is a move in which Hendrik dives at an enemy then Jade rides on his back before hammer throwing him so he goes faster and Eleven then turns him into metal for maximum damage.
