It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Rei Amayado | Hypnosis Mic

Character Name: Rei Amayado
Canon: Hypnosis Mic

Info: Rei is a bioengineer whose master invention brought an end to weaponized warfare back home. Currently he's pretending to be a slimy conman in order to hide that fact, as well as pave the way for his next plans. Unfortunately for all of us, his conman act is very convincing....
When he's not busy trying to sign people up for pyramid schemes Rei is a nosy, blunt and overly-familiar old man who gives surprisingly good advice. He loves music, good food, and barhopping! Also he's DTF.
He also runs Phoenix Roost here in Avalon!

Magics & Familiar: Dark/Technomancy & Ho-ou named Princess

Desired CR: Happy with anything! I love new CR. Rei can garner both friends and one-sided enemies pretty easily, depending on how the other character takes his attitude LMFAO
rei is also good at... harassing.... other characters into character development SD;ADFDFS so if you have a character that needs to be manipulated, rei is here to use questionable means to make them into their best(?) self
He's also father to three teenage sons, so he might be particularly obnoxious to similar shounen protagonists LMAOOO

Known Plans:

Rei got a second business license so he can make a dark web information network. find out whatever you need to know about Avalon dwellers... for the right price ;)
I'm still ironing out how it will work, but information on player characters will be opt-in, with a form you can fill out for anything you want people to be able to dig up about your character if they specifically seek it out. (Maybe setting general prices for info too-- if you want something to be exorbitantly expensive LOL)
I'm having Rei set this up bc he also runs one back home... though he'll be running it in secret, of course. atm I don't have any plans for Rei to do anything nefarious with it; he's just the dealer. but it might be a useful tool for player plots and stuff!!!

Other than that, Rei has some plot threads to finish up this month so I won't be doing an open quest post-- if you want Rei to go mountain hiking or something (LOL), hmu!

We have so much backlog with these two (even if it's decreasing!), but if you're still up for it I'd make a prompt for them to go horse shopping and exchange their little presents! If Hijikata hears of the Let's Play quest he'd instantly suspect Okita since that's right up his alley too, but he was sent home last month... so it must be some other sadist.

Also aw, that art is so nice... just a normals group of high school friends having fun at the beach...

And yeah Mukuro's thinking it sounds like something Junko would do... but yes probably some other sadist. Hijikata is one of the few people she'd talk to about that quest, because he'd know why she'd feel so weird about it given the killing game.

Yup nothing bad could possibly happen probably, I mean they could make the boardgame spinoff another murdergame I guess.

I'll put it in my upcoming July post with the quests and TDM prompts, if that works for you! Depending on how it goes they can also talk about the quest there (and probably decide to turn a blind eye for once, simply because they've dealt with enough sadists in their lives already).

There'll be a board game?! God, I love Dangan Ronpa.

Character Name: Traejan Lightrend
Canon: World of Warcraft
Info: Traejan is a Quel'dorei (High Elf) who died defending Silvermoon City against the Scourge invasion led by Prince Arthas Menethil and was subsequently raised as a Death Knight. Rather than hate his undead existence he embraced it completely and unlike many other Death Knights (and sentient undead in general for that matter) he served the Lich King willingly. At this point though, he's mostly out here to enjoy life and make lots of money. He has very few scruples about how he accomplishes that goal and was a weapons dealer among other things before coming to Avalon.

Desired CR:

Haha I hate that so many of my answers to this are EVERYTHING but Traejan is also brand new to Avalon so he can always use more connections. It's pretty easy to generate negative CR with him if that's what you're looking for because he tends to annoy others. He isn't very quick to anger really but he thrives on aggravating people. But he also likes doing business and will tone all that down if he thinks there's a benefit there. Also, sometimes people and things are just interesting!

Known Plans: He's actively trying to learn as much as he can about the way magic works here (and how it affects people) and he's also really curious about the familiars and the person-familiar bond. In a less academic direction, he's also looking to establish a legal fighting ring and will go a step further and turn it into a real entertainment sport~.

Desired CR: I'm pretty much good with anything! Friends, science buddies, people finding out about his superhero identity, people he can look out for, people making sure he gets some sleep...give me all of it!
Known Plans: I would like to have him do the two fight quests to get him knighted, but other than that I've got nothing really in mind for him. I'm going to be on a slowatus this month, so other than the quests he'll probably just be getting stuff settled in his new home with the other ducks, posting videos on his Youtube channel, and trying to get the science lab stared. But I'm definitely open for things if people would like to do stuff with him!

Info: Darin is your standard hot-blooded shounen type protagonist. He's twenty five years old and he's also the reincarnation of a dark and was literally born into his world to end it. He's got a bit of a complex about that. He's also a Master Blacksmith who has spent most of his life in the forge with his adopted father. He's kind, has exactly one brain cell that occasionally fires off properly, can be surprisingly insightful, but is also prone to exploding himself or doing other stupid and ill-advised things. Look, he thinks with his heart and sometimes the heart wants jump into the mouth of a monster to beat it up from the inside.
Magics & Familiar: Healing and Blood magic | Giant Antlion
Desired CR: So, Darin just had a bit of a rough month. Around the time of his twenty fifth birthday, Caster decided to kick off a mini grail war and used Darin as bait, cursing him into thinking his twin brother arrived and murdered everyone he cared about in Avalon. Because of this, Darin used his familiar fusion spell and hulked out all over the place. He's doing better now and, while he hasn't totally forgiven himself, he's realizing that he needs to control himself and his anger better. This means he needs to start really hunkering down and training his magic. So anyone who wants to work with/train in healing and blood magic would be welcome! Also, thanks to Shiro, he's starting to rethink his stance on what he wants to be in life. As a child, he wanted to be a hero like his father and with the people surrounding him now, he's second guessing his stance that he believed he wouldn't make the cut. So if you're looking for (holding out for?) a would-be hero then Darin's your man! As always, I'm always down for negative CR too. Darin is still rather easily manipulated and has tremendous anger issues when it comes to people he cares for getting hurt. And since his roster of people he cares for keeps growing, it would be really easy to push him into things the way Caster kinda did. He also has a forge and if anyone is interested in apprenticing/partnering/working there, he would absolutely love that too! As always, I am up for all kinds of CR: questing, larger plots, shenanigans.

Info: A modest court lady from a fallen baron's house in a snowy land. Usually maintains a reserved personality, but opens up when enjoying her favorite pastime, ballroom dancing. Continually surprised by the conveniences that modern day Avalon has to offer.
Magics & Familiar: Alchemy/Kinetic & Guardian named Adalhard
Desired CR: Friendship! Alchemy study buddies! Kinetic mentors! New CR! Continuing established CR! Negative CR is also fine too if you want to?! Do whatever you want I'm game LOL
Rinea is also tangling with the fact that she is Definitely dead back home, so if there's anyone out there trying to make Avalon their forever home... maybe they can talk about it sometime???????!!!!
Related to that Rinea is also cracking open her problems with her fiance, the person who killed her, so if your character has boyfriend woes.... LMFAO
Known Plans:

Rinea is living her quiet little life this month! I'd like to get her back on the questing train eventually, though... she has to go out and gather ingredients for potion-making anyway, so Rinea is always in need of partners and escorts. I will probably tag other people's open posts after my hiatus week is over, haha. If you wanna see Rinea on something specific then by all means!

Info: Soundwave here is a Decepticon and is one of the few actual nice ones. A quiet, reserved, and actually one of the more decent Decepticons out there. He was an ass for the most part of the continuity though, but after a certain point since the war's over and he learned that hey organics have feelings too, he became a full-fledged good guy and actively tries to do good but still stay true to the original Decepticon cause and a very proud Decepticon. Dude only just wanted peace for the Decepticon after the war. Also likes humans and elephants. Also also he's CRAU from [community profile] prismatica, so he's a little kinder but still crappy at small talk or remotely anything to do with social interactions.

Magics & Familiar: Kinetic & Animal Magic, Cat Sith
Desired CR: Open to anything, really. Bring him more friendships or enemies, since he's a lonely blue moron who tries to act like he's not affected by loneliness. Magic training buddies, especially and quest partners. Some adopted familyship would be great too, since he pretty much lost his entire back home and he can be a good big brother type.

Ironically Soundwave works best with people who are aggressively persistent with befriending him, the all sunshine type, or chaotic high energy type.

Info: A warrior princess from an alien race that happens to look a lot like elves. She has a compassionate and proudly heroic heart, and her courage is maximum. While she has a sweet and soft side, she doesn't indulge it nearly as much because you can't save people with glitter and milkshakes (... or CAN you?) Instead, watch out for flashes of aggression mixed with instances of self-endangerment. Still doesn't know that much about Earth things, so don't be surprised if she gets utterly confused by your expressions or needs help telling certain animals apart.

Magics & Familiar: Cognitive & Siphon | Balmera
Desired CR: Up for good and bad alike, hit me with what you've got! She can get along nicely with a lot of people — no matter how strong-willed she can be, she's ultimately a compassionate and supportive person who wants others to live their best lives. But if you want someone to fight you, then let's talk. And by talk I mean fight.
Known Plans: Allura's been asked out to dinner by Darin, and she's not sure how she should prepare for that. She's used a lifeline to ask for help, but there may be room for others to give advice... and there's definitely room for trying to giving bad advice. Otherwise, it's mostly questing business as usual, since I'd like to end this month with Allura getting at least one title.

Info: Big damn galactic hero and fashion icon, Luke is a space wizard back home and believes himself the last of his kind thanks to an exiled swamp frog.

...look, Star Wars is weird.

He's a pretty calm and quiet guy and mostly keeps to himself, though he's not afraid to step in if someone needs help. Once you get to know him, it's easy to see he is both incredibly kind and a hell of a smart ass.
Magics & Familiar: Cognative/Technomancy | Small Krayt Dragon
Desired CR: He could use more friends! Also, it would be funny if he ended up accidentally adopting some of the kids around, especially when he realizes how many are around.
Known Plans: Eh... not much; I plan on throwing him at all the "good" quests when I do a monthly catchall. Now that he's figured himself out as far as why he was having problems getting his magic to work, I'm going to have him around in the library studying and practicing in various places. Beyond that, though, I don't really have many ideas for the month.

I'm also still waffling on if I should change his secondary magic. One of these days I'll figure it out.
