It's that time again already! It's time for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

Canon: Fruits Basket, specifically the latest anime.
Info: Info
Magics & Familiar: Avalon Info. Machi's familiar is a black kitsune named Mugetsu and her magics are elemental and green.

Desired CR:
- FRIENDS PLEASE. Machi isn't that great on her own at making friends but she really, really appreciates them. She works exceptionally well as the straight man to your wackier types because of her aloof and cool attitude that warms quite a bit on further knowing her.
- CLASSMATES. Friends and classmates can intersect of course.
- COWORKERS. So I'd like Machi to get a job eventually in the coming months. If you've got suggestions -- and coworkers! -- feel free to let me know!
- ELEMENTAL & GREEN MAGE TEACHERS. She comes from a world where she's 100% average. She's also a very good student so if you've got a teacher worn out from reckless kids or something, please consider her as your star pupil, haha.
- (B)ROMANCE. So Machi at this point in canon has a budding crush on Yuki. However I'm happy to entertain any crosscanon ships your heart desires, whether this is a serious thing, a light flirtation or maybe just some fun dates? Machi has no experience with romance after all so learning about the ins and outs of the heart would be a lot of fun! No big age gaps though please.

Known Plans:
- August Open Log. I can also throw in some closed prompts if you like.
- A minor goal is to get Machi a noble title. Because everyone calls Yuki a princess and a part of me thinks it'd be funny if Machi really was nobility here. That's all, that's it, that's my reasoning. Also she likes being helpful even if she's awkward at it.
- My longterm goal is for Machi to experience life without her mother breathing down her neck from afar as well as not being utterly alone for once. At home she lives by herself in a small apartment and has been all but rejected by her parents after she poured herself into pleasing her mother for much of her young life. She greatly craves positive reinforcement, love and warmth. The idea of a warm family isn't one she consciously realizes she craves but she definitely does. So in a way I want a found family too, a group of friends both canon and not who she can come to cherish and love fondly. Fruits Basket is all about acceptance, love and found family after all.

Well, Gaius comes from a loving family but he's also on his own from his canon here so he'd be happy to make friends.

And I'm happy to see Machi make some so it's a win-win! As long as he likes easily flustered people they'll get along just fine.

Kyo gotta check in with the other familiar face (ish? Canon please) from home that agrees with him Yuki is Not Perfect or Princely. They can at least bond over that while figuring this weird place out idk.

My only plans this month are prob for him to flip out over figuring his magic (animal magic he won't be so surprised on. Tohru's, he would be. Also his Blood Magic.) and Tohru mentioned school so he will prob go there in checking out classes? If Machi's going too? Though they have diff magic so maybe would be in different classes for it but still generally see each other around? Breaks or whatever idk.

Oh yeah, you better believe Machi's gonna be in school. I'm very game for her making friends with classmates in general.

Maybe it can be a thing where they start running into each other around lunchtime and then it just becomes a thing (along with Tohru of course if that's amenable to everyone)?

Also Machi's familiar Mugetsu is a sassy, snooty kitsune (think Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss if you know the series) so Kyo is welcome to get into fights / staring matches with him since his life is so devoid of Yuki at the moment.

Lunchtime catch ups yes. We can check with Jude if she wants Tohru to join as well!

Maybe not fights but there might be some glaring at the snooty kitsune if he has flashbacks to like Aya or Yuki or something because of it lbr.
