It's the 4th! That means that it's time now for our current players to plot for the month ahead, get some new CR and chat together about things to come. Go ahead and copy/paste the form below. Or don't. We aren't your parents, we can only make really good suggestions. (Unless...? Nah.)

I'm enjoying these two as well! And yes, she will totally come by and try to prove she knows how to model ~~she doesn't~~ and try not to gush over the weaponry ~~she totally will~~.

In the meantime questing sounds like fun, and sharing mutual trauma will be good if the conversation goes that way.

Thank you, I've had fun threading with Emet too - Questing together sounds good! She hasn't worked out much about Emet just yet, but it'll be good for them to get to know each other.

I am laughing so hard at the Valentine's shenanigans so far, it's great.

Between that and whatever Gundham decides to tell him about her, I'm not sure where things are likely to go from here but happy to plot or just wait and see how it goes!

So Caster is technically a Princess, even if she's not sure she has the right to consider herself as such anymore after burning all of the bridges with her father (the Kingdom's king) and everyone else in her life.

She's not likely to admit it right off unless deep discussions happen but I think these two could be interesting?? And have a lot to talk about once it gets that far.

Info: A first impressions post, and a bit more detail. Even though it's super a WIP because getting all my notes consolidated has been beyond me, aha. The tl;dr is "magic clone made because human experimentation was deemed unethical, and bulk-made humans aren't really people so It's Fine". He's nervous, sheltered & inexperienced with the world and people, will do anything asked of him out of fear of failure, just is kind of a people pleaser all around even though he Super doesn't understand people. Super doesn't even see himself as a person. (Yet? Who knows where character development will take him.)
Magic & Familiar: Cognitive, Voidling (which more info can be found in the post up above! It's a creature from home.)
Desired CR: Friendship or any sort of positive relationship would be A++, because that's... Not something he's super familiar with. Though I'm also not opposed to negative CR, as I know his anxious demeanor can be Irritating for some sorts. Basically, I am open to anything. Friends, romance, enemies for life, enemies to friends or friends to enemies. I'm also open to people who might take advantage of his inherently trusting and obedient manner, because what else is RP for?
Known Plans: IIII have an open post over here! for quests and such, but asides from that I am just plinking along.

Character Name: Seto Kaiba
Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh

Info: A moody teenager who loves nerdy opulence related to his favorite dragon. He commandeered a gaming company, became one of the world's top CEOs at age 15...and then spent the next 2 years obsessing over defeating a rival to regain his lost pride over a card game. Oh, and he hated magic before, still grumbles at its unpredictability, but wants to master it.

Magic & Familiar: Alchemy magic, tiny Blue Eyes White Dragon familiar

Desired CR: Rivals to push his magic game further, people to play other types of games with, maybe...friends? He's not all bad all the time if you catch him on a good day, have something he wants, or magic's making him more pliable.

Known Plans: I'll be putting a catchall post up, likely tomorrow. These were the prompts I was thinking of including, though I'm open to more/will probably have one or two general slice of life ones.

**library maze: He's good at finding patterns and maneuvering, and would help someone get through. Might need help avoiding getting caught, though.

**poisoning the old man: He's done morally wrong things like that before, though he's sort of changed...but that amount of money is hugely tempting to someone who hates his job. It's a conundrum, though, and the right person with him might make him waver.

**synchronic magic: I won't lie, it's hard to get him to trust, and he'd be much more likely to agree to be the one in control. He'd have to fully use the shots/atmosphere, and it would still have a good chance of failing. But it's a good way to let people get to know each other better, and there'll be an aftermath/wish prompt too.

**cupid: He's definitely not testing them out, but I'm willing to let him get hit for comedy.

Outside of the prompts, he wants to look for other alchemists to ~~steal their secrets~~ train with, and keep saving up for a business of his own.

I'm also not sure how things will go, but I imagine he'd definitely be keeping a close eye on her later based on what Gundham tells him. (which..... she might just interpret this as him being a romantic stalker after their initial thread, who knows LMAO)

Me too Stella is a ball of sunshine and I'm loving seeing her bounce off these girls and relentlessly try to make friends with them. However difficult/awkward they are.

Caster's IC Inbox is open if she wants to spam memes at her and watch her just entirely fail to understand any of it, because she is very not up on her pop culture. ~~At some point she needs to find out people have made memes about her lol.~~

Character Name: Somnus Lucis Caelum
Canon: Final Fantasy XV
Info:
Somnus, founder-king of Lucis, is a severe and serious man who has spent more of his existence being a dead ghost king than he ever was alive and reigned. In short, he suffers greatly from resting severe face. He's committed to moving forward, always, and restoring the light to his Star even should it damn the past or those of his family (and himself, but the world trumps all). Should your character also be duty-bound or committed to preserving the future in some way, shape, or form, he'll most likely get along with you! He’s capable of making difficult or morally questionable decisions. Unfortunately, he’s not one to help if your character needs comfort or being cuddled in any form, and he responds better to those who remain determined instead of submitting to angst.

He’s also a man of his times! Canon is wacky and gives different dialect for some moments when ppl interact with the Ring. He can occasionally use thy/thou/thee/etc., as a heads up, and he probably has some outdated views given that he’s 2k years old.

Permissions here, and it’s also an opt out (no hard feelings if you use it!)

Also— it’s noted in canon that Somnus, Noctis (older ver), and also bahamut have the same face— noctis is the “spitting image” of somnus when he was younger. Feel free to pick up on any similarities!

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic, and he had an obsidian dragon.
Desired CR:

Positive CR: I mean if it’s possible, yes! But he is also a grumpy old man so I feel like this would be only possible with very uppity, tenacious, or charming characters. Throw me ur cinnamon rolls!
Neutral CR: That being said, he does have a lotta potential for neutral CR (or taking on a more mentoring role). He’s got big NPC energy tho and is pretty vague and cryptic (especially if ever asked about his world or family). Kinda interested in seeking-other-royalty or seeking-other-dead-ppl or seeking-other-grandpas CR too.
Negative CR: Somnus did bad things in canon, so feel free to make him miserable. All he wants to do is go home and restore the Dawn, he can’t do that, so so far he’s miserable by default. Make his life hell, menace him, punch him, do whatever! I’m down.
Shipping: ~~why would you—~~ Gosh that would be hard but I’m up for whatever! I did put him up to that Cupid quest here, so if you want him internally crushing on you during the duration of the enchantment, feel free to poke that top prompt! Plz, I love writing characters who simp...

Known Plans:
Quests, TDM prompts, etc: I got an open log here for the Cupid quest, the selkie quest, general training... but I’m open to everything else too! Open to current CR, new CR, new people to the game...!

No but I love their interactions so far, it's been good fun! Not sure...how he's going to take her being an awful person this month if/when it gets back to him, but I'm all for seeing how that fallout goes?

He's welcome to join her on being-awful quests of course - I think it would be interesting for them to try synchronisation magic if he's up for that.

Character Name: Joshua Edenic
Canon: Beyond Eden
Info: more in-depth info here. Joshua comes from a BL VN set in Victorian England and is a pursuable characters in the game. He's one of four brothers and the second son of a Baron so he's lived a relatively privileged life. It's just also come with a lot abuse and neglect and has left him reserved and closed off. He's learning to work on that and be more forth coming though and sometimes he can be a bit harsh and can banter pretty well in the right circumstances.

He also suffered a severe childhood injury to his right leg that requires him to use a cane to walk, though it doesn't impair him severely and he's pretty lax if people bother him about it.

Magic & Familiar: Light and Kelpie.
Desired CR:
-Making friends. He was for all intents and purposes a shut in back home and isolated from anyone who wasn't his family and servants. He's forcing himself out and about partially just so he can survive, but he's an introvert by nature, so help?

-More people to just be trouble for him in general. While he's working hard on being better about it, he is a passive person by nature, so there's a lot of crap he can take. When he snaps though, he can be pretty mean and has a stubborn streak in him.

-I'm not really interested in shipping since he just got a partner back home, but flirting and that is fine! He might not know how to cope with that since he has very little experience. And he's not letting himself think about how much he misses his boyfriend. So him having to deal with that might be fun, especially once he decides to just play along.

-Roommates, maybe? He's not totally inept at it, but he's never actually lived on his own before, since he comes for a large household with a crap load of servants.

Known Plans: None right now, though I'm deciding what I'll do on the quest board right now.
Other: The info post I linked doubles as an opt out so feel free to use it. There's a lot of abuse in his backstory and it's inevitable that it might come up in tags. There's also a lot of non-consent/consent issues in his route, though I'll pretty much never mention that. But always feel free to refuse CR for any reason, no matter how serious or mundane!

Canon: The Chronicles of Amber

Info: Prince of a royal family that reigns over the point in the multiverse that embodies Order. Tried for a long time to take over as king when his father disappeared, fought against many of his brothers for the title. Eventually gave up on that and focused on saving all of reality from his brother who was working with the forces of Chaos to destroy everything and rebuild it in his own image. Corwin is your typical 1970's fantasy novel protagonist, in that he's headstrong, brave, cunning, and very flirtatious.

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic, Unicorn
Desired CR: I'm open to anything, really. People for him to fight alongside, or against. Kids for him to take under his wing. Whatever floats your boat is good with me!
Known Plans: I'm technically on hiatus this month but already have AC from the TDM anyway... I'll probably still lay low just for sanity's sake.

Other: There are no gifs and very little fanart for this series, but I will use this space to say that I am ALSO going to be apping Momo Yaoyorozu from My Hero Academia, so if you want to plot for her as well, HMU!

Info: Soundwave here is a Decepticon and is one of the few actual nice ones. A quiet, reserved, and actually one of the more decent Decepticons out there. He was an ass for the most part of the continuity though, but after a certain point since the war's over and he learned that hey organics have feelings too, he became a full-fledged good guy and actively tries to do good but still stay true to the original Decepticon cause and a very proud Decepticon. Dude only just wanted peace for the Decepticon after the war. Also likes humans and elephants. Also also he's CRAU from

prismatica, so he's a little more kinder but still crappy at small talk or remotely anything to do with social interactions.

Magic & Familiar: Kinetic Magic, Cat Sith
Desired CR: Open to anything, really. More friends and positive CRs would be good, since he's a lonely blue moron who tries to act like he's not affected by loneliness. A magic mentor or training buddies would be good since he's not all too familiar with magic but he's making good progress on his own for the time being. Quest partners, especially ones who will egged him into doing just about anything
Known Plans: Planning to involved him in the selkie quest and the library quest. Despite Soundwave being y'know huge and metallic, he is an ex-spy and light-footed for a Cybertronian, so he'll be able to sneak around. The fact he's not 30foot tall really helps with that.

Also highly interested in having him hit by the Cupid's arrow for some stupid shenanigans....

A flower girl who can seem, initially, as unsuspecting and more demure than she actually is. Aerith has a very quiet composure and strength about herself, may not necessarily always be upfront about what she's feeling or thinking, and can, at times be a little enigmatic. She's welcoming, warm, rather genuine with her kindnesses, playful, and a bit sassy.

Magic & Familiar: Healing Magic | Cerulean Drake Familiar

Desired CR:
🌺 Friendlies - Aerith is pretty easy to get along with, though in her history she's had a difficult time making / keeping friends because of who / what she is and the kinds of abilities she had back in her home world. She likes making friends though could easily be perceived as someone who is relatively independent and self-sufficient. She definitely gravitates pretty easily toward more serious people, offering that optimistic, bright contrast, but she can get along with just about anyone.

🌺 Non-Friendlies? - What I'm really saying here is that I like a variety. I expect to find positive and negative CR and every shade in between. I really value the development and evolution of relationships, regardless of their nature. As such, I don't tend to pre-plan things of this category (plot and event-specific plans an exception) and prefer to observe a natural progression.

🌺 I tried to think of other things to put here, but really am kind of at a loss that wouldn't involve me repeating myself. I suppose my general rule of thumb is that if you aren't certain of something, ask (especially if it involves shipping, anything one might interpret as controversial or sensitive in nature, etc.)? I'm pretty flexible and generally just roll along with the punches as they come. There isn't very much that I won't involve myself in provided it makes sense to be involved in it.

Known Plans:
🌺 Aerith really wants to open a flower shop in Camelot. This is probably my priority at this moment. She hasn't been inclined to ask for help, but she wouldn't turn down people who were offering and she's quite happy to talk about it and bring it up.

🌺 I'm sure her practising her magic is somewhere high on her list of things-to-do, considering she's still learning about potency and what she can actually accomplish with her array of healing skills. So maybe being able to offer that as an aside might be a good thing to look into.

🌺 I don't really have anything else specifically in my to-do, but... I'm open to the power of suggestion, as it were.

Magic & Familiar: Ignis is cognitive and Tonberry, Kise is light and Vila, Uenoyama is kinetic and Muse.
Desired CR: Everything! Kise and Ue are kinda taken so romance is not really an option for them (Ue is WAY too head over hills for Mafuyu), BUT everything else is a go! Friends, enemies, people to get in trouble with. People who love music for Uenoyama, people who are into sports for Kise, people who like books and puzzles, and COFFEE for Ignis.
Known Plans:

Ignis has an open post with a few prompts related to magic. You can always hit me up to plot something 1-on-1 for some starting CR or you can hit me up there.
Uenoyama is having a performance on Valentine's day so there will be a post for that later when the day rolls in. He really wants to perform live, he misses it. Got a piercing now.
Kise has no concrete plans for this month. There was an accident with Takao and Midorima and stray arrows that don't like kinetic magic, but otherwise, it's free real estate. He needs friends...

They are all open for questing! All of them are slowly becoming more used to and adept at magic, Kise will probably get symbiosis with his familiar at the end of February.

Canon: Dust: An Elysian Tail
Info: Dust is what you get when you jam two souls together to make an ultimate warrior: something of a mess. He's awesome in battle conditions, but Avalon involves much less of that than he'd like, so he's really struggling to get by on a daily basis. Not helping things is his friend and roommate disappearing, meaning he's now cynical about getting close to people. HOORAY I guess.
Magic & Familiar: Elemental | Quetzalcoatl

Desired CR: FRIENDS! Dust needs some friends! People who will help him learn to live a more normal life. People who can generally just cheerfully shove him into circumstances like normal housing or the like.
QUEST BUDDIES! Most quests appeal to Dust and I've got no problem doing them multiple times. Being the hero sort, he can generally get into any quest that involves helping someone.
ROMANCE? I love shipping. Dust isn't honestly all that hard to attract if you give him the chance. He's surprisingly passionate once he opens up.

Known Plans: The current quests have some nice stuff in them! The library especially is interesting, particularly for long-range goals.

Character Name: Morgan Knight
Canon: Mage: the Ascension
Info: Cheerful, friendly, optimistic martial artist who's actually a little deeper than he might come off as? He was an idiot for so long he learned a hell of a lot from it.
Magic & Familiar: Kinesis | Typhon the Hydra

Desired CR: STUDENTS! Morgan has a deep and burning desire to teach others martial arts, and has offered to teach a couple of people who seemed interested already. He'd love to share his passion with people who want to learn.
SERIOUS OR TROUBLED PEOPLE! I love bouncing Morgan off of these sorts, because I like the contrast and he likes trying to help people loosen up and enjoy life.
QUEST BUDDIES! Come on, let's do quests and help people!
ROMANCE! OR FUN? Morgan's a shameless flirt and really not adverse to having a good time. Right now he thinks he's staying casual, but he's way less adverse to an actual relationship than he thinks he is.
ANYTHING! Seriously Morgan is the sort I can generally find something to work with for anyone.
