Kate genuinely likes Caster. She feels like there's still a fair amount she doesn't know about her but the pieces are coming together and she can see something of herself in Caster in the poor decisions made in grief and being less than morally upstanding. She appreciates having people around her who won't judge that kind of stuff (and even join in on it) because, as much as she loves her brother, that sometimes happens with him.

And she definitely feels for Caster about losing her brother, hahahaha. RIP. God, I really need an event where Caster can get an idea of Kate and Marc's relationship because it would be Interesting, given where they're likely gonna end up.

MAN, Kate is... oddly conflicted about Ken. She likes him and thinks he's a good kid, but also: he's a good kid and she doesn't know how to handle that without feeling incredibly conscious of the fact she is not a good person. He shines an uncomfortable mirror on her own behaviour TBH, even if he doesn't actively mean to do that. But she appreciates him for helping her break the ice with her familiar, even if their interactions still seem very :|, they do get on now!

Kate and Akira both definitely have a case of "I'd rather the other party talked about themselves than I talked about me" going on, which is always fun to navigate. She enjoys spending time with him and thinks he's a good partner for questy business, though she probably wouldn't invite him on dark web quests in the future. She'd definitely like to get to understand him on a deeper level at some point!

The mysterious blade-anon. Walter has pieced together that she's a female, and while he doesn't have an idea as to her age or her origin, he definitely saw (as I mentioned before) that little conversation she had with her schoolmate about her loyalty to a certain someone of questionable moral character... and when Walter recognizes someone is of exceedingly questionable moral character, he's probably going to be right, because look at who he keeps company with in canon.

He recognizes she hasn't quiiiite let go of her attachment to someone who is almost definitely evil and probably would be a problem for him if they ever showed up (+1 to the list of things that make him want to smoke or sit down with a nice cup of tea). But, he also senses potential in her for a new direction, so he's willing to stick around and see where that goes (again, see the company he keeps in canon). He's not pure himself. Far from it. So he isn't about to go on long-winded sanctimonious rants on what she has done or might have done. He's interested in what she will do from here on (and, for both their sakes, hoping that some idiot familiar doesn't attach itself to whoever her commander is and bring that person to Avalon). He is willing to work with her, and give her something vaguely beneficial to the universe to focus her talents towards, and is genuinely curious as to what direction that will end up taking her mentally/emotionally without trying to force her to change.

Deeper still, though he doesn't converse much about his past and only a couple in Avalon really have any depth of knowledge to what he does, and he's not likely to go into specifics about missions because "loose lips sink ships" as the saying went in the war, he has the impression that she is someone he could reveal some of the gorier details of his work in the general sense and not have her running screaming in the opposite direction, and that brings a sense of comfort in his interactions with her that he doesn't have around some of the sweet cinnamon roll heroic souls, dainty damsels, and gentle gents currently in game.

There's some solid potential for CR for these two in the future. Especially if she ever becomes comfortable with the idea of being around him out of her guise.

Rei obviously is NOT a fan of talking about himself. He's still a bit irritated at Sasara's digging bc it was unexpected, but mostly he's steering clear of the boys bc now that his Beans are Spilled he's sure Sasara wants very little to do with him. He thinks Sasara probably has no choice but to keep him on the team for now, but just in case.. leaving him alone feels like it'll keep the uneasy peace and he doesn't have to pull out any more threats.

If Rei is honest with himself, he likes Sasara and Rosho a lot (a lot) and wants to keep them around. But he's used to being realistic 😂😂

complicated thoughts are sasaknocking around in there...... he's still shocked by Rei's involvement with chuuoku, though not as much as he's taken aback by how badly rei didn't want him to know about it or his past. Ossan got scary back there... plus, he thought u was fwiends.

he still hasn't said anything to Rosho, cause Sasara thinks that he might say tha wrong thing and the wrong thing being something that breaks DH up, again. and if that were to happen, Sasara feels like he failed as a leader, and not just as a leader... but as Rosho's... and Rei's. wanting to get close to someone, letting, even pushing himself (and ... Rei) to that, as much as he thought he was having a good time of it with his teammates, now he's afraid he screwed it up. being the pushy little person he is, he didn't think he went too far in the moment, but sure does now. so he doesn't want Rosho to find out and demand they ditch Rei, and he also doesn't want Rei to leave the gang because this digging unearthed something that... well, Sasara may have hurt him with (to an extent unintended, even if the digging itself wasn't).

he talks so damn much, but he doesn't know where to start with this now! just wallows in the rain..
